Suicide blasts hit Islamabad universityFour dead in suicide attacks on campus of International Islamic University, in Pakistani capital Buzz up! Digg it Haroon Siddique and agencies guardian.co.uk, Tuesday 20 October 2009 11.45 BST Article history Two suicide blasts killed four people at a university in Islamabad, Pakistani police said today. The attacks occurred on the campus of the International Islamic University, in the Pakistani capital. A police officer, Bin Yamin, said four people were killed, but it was unclear whether the figure included the assailants. A string of attacks by the Taliban have rattled the country in the past two weeks. No one has claimed responsibility for today's blasts. Another police officer said the attackers struck in a women's cafeteria and the Islamic law department. Eyewitnesses told Dawn News there were between 3,000 and 4,000 students on the campus at the time. Dawn reported that the blasts occurred within a minute of each other and police arrested a suspect at the site. Television footage showed a woman with a bloodied left leg being carried on a stretcher, and a red brick building with shattered windows. A hospital doctor, Waseem Khwaja, said the blasts killed one female student and wounded 11 more. Zulkifli, a student from Indonesia attending the university, said he had seen two bodies being taken from a building on the campus. Students from around the world attend the university, with most taking Islamic studies. Security at educational establishments had been tightened in response to the recent campaign of violence by militants who want to overthrow the state. Pakistani forces launched an offensive on Saturday to drive out the Taliban from their bases in a lawless region on the Afghan border. In the run-up to the offensive, militants attacked a police station in Peshawar, a United Nations office and the army headquarters in Rawalpindi and three different police facilities in Lahore on the same day. source

Yup. Nassir, we're currently complaining about AS' amateurist suicide bombings but I dread the dread the day things come to ahead - just as you see in AfPak and Iraq. Allow naga wareeji.

And Iraq. And Iran. Today again there were two suicide bombing in a university campus in Pakistan. Both countries (Afghanistan and Pakistan) are witnessing some extensive violence in the last weeks. I wonder is this what awaits all countries that have accepted US involvent in post-Bush era? Just an increase of violence?

Only when you make a daring move in the name of Somali patrioticism are you patriotic. The rest is a play with theoretical concepts I am affraid. Who here is willing to put his/her on the line for Somali patrioticism? Who? Hmmm? I thought so. When you are surely willing, let me know.

Dunno, mate. Even if I could speculate, I'm too zonked out to reason. Lol. Marka perhaps we shall continue tomorrow when I am fresh-eyed. Hadda, I'm going to search for some indha-guduudsi. Can't stay awake and wait up for bloody guests at this ungodly hour. May the foxes devour them. Must stop! I can feel a rant-sneeze surging forth. Night.

I can't blame the guy for his 180 degree turn. Sometimes afka akfuu eedi karaa. I sure don't know what made him turn like that but as you've mentioned, the reason has to be so serious to be make him eat his own words 2 weeks later. Not a nice predicament to put through any man - either through cajole or coercion.

^Yes, you are right, Xaq. Not because they deserve it but because they're too noisy as of late. Even him (the author of this topic) is yelling too noisily. Look at the CAPITALS. I mean... Perhaps it's time they go heckle Djibouti for change.

Ah,... Mr. J11, you disappoint me, there, dear lad... For I thought you knew better, indeed. You see, in your warped mind, you really believe that a man that I have elected to power , in whose fate rest in my hand (in the clannish sense of that word); since, I can easily make him, scarce from the seat of power, in legal sense of voting him out of power, could ever be, what you describe in that above post of yours. Uh huh! Now, my dear Oodweyne, therein stands the elephant in the room. You tell me about 'a man you've elected into power' but the trouble is, I find your statement as a make-believe one. Why? Because untill you DO indeed elect off the very man , I cannot for the life of me try to differentiate between your bravado or bravery. For heaven's sake elect him off! How many times has the election been post-ponded? Sorry for asking because I kinda lost count. Lol. Anyway, Reer Maakhir are waiting for you - and even, yes that's right, the Gen. Ilkajiir you fear so much awaits you in gladdened pose for battle. Now hurry up, will you? Mr. Somalia and Xudeedi, . Let me play with Oowdeyne's ego maanta. Lol.

In other words; talk is cheap, chaps. And therefore, see to it bring your political leaders, in the form of Gen. Ilkajir from “Pirate-land”, into the street of Erigavo (just to prove me that I do not know what I am talking about in here). For, that day, I shall doff my hat for you, both in gallantry and in political drivenness (as it were), indeed. Lool, do you ever read sxb? Or you are in a flight path of your own make-believe mirqaan ninyow. Here's what I just told you two posts above yours: J11: Adeer, horta isa soo xoreeya, and then we can talk about settling scores. You don't see reer Maakhir talking war here - it's just you. But they'll be waiting for your move. Move or aamus . Your move, son.

In observing this, the general decided to build a military post making Ceerigaabo a significant sultanate base. The primitive inhabitants who settled on the outskirts of the sultanate base were introduced to gun powder and other superior weaponry until they obeyed to be subjects of the sultanate (tax payers). Richard Burton documents his observation of this scenario as he includes those primitive inhabitants as “citizens of the sultanate country”. The city since then has been through various phases, and became a setting that hosted battles between the Darawiish (Sayid Abdulla Hassan) and the head of the Sultanate at the time (Raximahulaaah Sultaan Mohamuud Ali Shire), but its ownership never challenged. This is also supported by the governors and mayors “Mogadishu” appointed, in which majority were Makhiri’s. After decades, those earlier mentioned primitives were injected with artificial confidence by its likes that were under the umbrella of SNM. They then launched an attack with troops composed of all North westerners at Erigavo. Two sub families of the Makhiri’s defended themselves in a 9 day gun battle inside the city. Because of the overall Somalia situation and Makhiri’s political ambition in the south they retreated from Erigavo. It wasn’t long until Coronel Ducaale (Raximahulaah) came back with Makhiri troops from the south and greeted the city gates with BM’s and other heavy artillery. Mentionable battles include the battle of Jidale outside of Ceerigaabo in which 300 north westerners were captured including a (later) Somaliland minister from Hargaisa . After sequenced defeats of North westerners a peace treaty was reached that till this day governs the city. The North westerner’s administration came to the city with the consent of the Makhiri’s for only and only NGO purposes. Police was created in which majority were Makhiri’s and the sheriff offcourse is a Makhiri. The military was created in which majority are Makhiri’s and offcourse is headed by (Taliyaha Ciidamada aaga Bari, Coronel Muuse Jaamac Dalaf) who himself is a Makhiri. The head of the district counsel is also a Makhiri. All these stand a firm evidence for Makhiri dominance in the region and the city you claim that you know nothing of. I think Oodweyne is a relation of ninkaa la qabtay hence his constant cry over Maakhir. Oodka, take it easy. I mean you cant do jack about Maakhir in a war now while you are still under Aabe Riyaale. Marka ma 'aabe kan yar (Riyaale) iga reeb oo kan weyn (Maakhir) igu daa baa?' Adeer, horta isa soo xoreeya, and then we can talk about settling scores. You don't see reer Maakhir talking war here - it's just you. But they'll be waiting for your move. Move or aamus.
