  1. Somali ambassador "Toto scam" places to rent in the home via Villini

The stable Nomentano, closed two years ago after a sexual assault, it would have been leased for 18 years to an Italian company that deals with tourism. To endorse all of the Somali ambassador in Italy, Nur Hassan Hussein.

The Somali embassy in Rome as the Trevi Fountain. With the ambassador in Mogadishu trying to emulate "Toto scam", that more than 50 years ago trying to sell one of the symbols of the capital to a naive Italian American.

This time, however, according to the complaint lodged by two Italian-Somali Associations, the reality seems to have passed the fantasy: the Embassy of Nomentano for years in a state of neglect, it would in fact been granted lease to an Italian company that takes care of tourism. And to endorse the multimillion-dollar contract would have been just Nur Hassan Hussein, the Somali ambassador to Italy.

he diplomat, like all its counterparts, has no power to rent the embassy of which he is a mere custody and whose ownership belongs to the state of Somalia. Hussein in accordance with its legal and Dual Douglas Maurizio Calo would not have given any green light to the contract.

Friday afternoon, however, "some unknown" turned up outside the embassy on Via dei Villini, trying to "break the lock" of the entrance gates to "the beginning of renovations."

A group of Somalis living in Italy and members of associations Ancis (National Association of Community Italo-Somali) and Migrating, already alerted in the hours before he locked the workers, denouncing the fact immediately.

The paper argues that Hussein had "leased the building for 18 years," resulting in the "loss of his extraterritoriality and changing its intended use." The whole "in the absence of a resolution" of the Ministry of Finance of Somalia, as confirmed in the complaint sent to the Prosecutor's Office, the Town Hall II of the City of Rome, the Capitol and the Service of Legal Affairs of the Foreign Ministry.

Embassy of Via dei Villini, one of the most exclusive areas of Rome, was closed in 1991 (its offices were moved by the Gracchi) after the fall of Siad Barre and then plunged into a state of disrepair, becoming a refuge dormitory for foreigners . In February 2011, the building jumped to the news when a twenty, drawn in the stable, suffered a sexual assault by two Somalis that there risiedevano.L 'former embassy was evacuated and its walled entrance to avoid new jobs.

The ambassador, when asked about whether he "explained to be abroad and returned to Italy in five days," said Shukri Said, spokesman Migrate. But in the meantime, the hypothesis that the embassy can be transformed into a hotel has sparked the ire of Somalis in Rome finding a stir among the media in Mogadishu.

Carafaat, you know how the situation in Somalia is. This young fella is fine, as long as he is not a clanist, has no criminal record and he is educated. I think he can swim harder against the wave in order to do his job. We possibly have some traitors, uneducated, thieves and murderers as Ambassadors. I agree with this cleaning process. We cannot have over 80 year old pensioners as ambassadors when there are a lot of educated and younger individuals. If I was the one to decide I would replace Nur Adde (Italy & EU), Yusuf Dheg(China), Dr. Nur Elmi (UN), Sheekhow (Dubai), Abdirahman Guulwade (Djibouti), Abdullahi (Egypt), Mohamed A America (Kenya), Armani (The so-called envoy in the US) and many other so-called Diplomats in some African countries.

Abwaan well said. We need young graduates, educated, dynamic and non corrupt politicians. Young people have the passion to develop the country more rapidly than these old politicians who always think of increasing their wealth.I think there is no need for suits or ties, but what we need is good leaders who can lead the country in the right path of development.

The Director General of the Foreign affairs ministry Mr Abdi Dahir Abdirahman is maybe young but well educated. He holds a BA in Political science and an MA in Diplomacy and international relations. He worked the foreigner office since 2008 and as you can all see clearly in the picture above Fowsia is just chilling and listening whereas Abdi Dahir is explaining to her the new plan. we need more, younger politicians like Mr Abdi dahir.

  6. Great news.Saudis also donates 50 million US dollar to help Somalia. Now the question is: will these donations reach needy individuals or Somalia’s famine victims? I have witnessed the food aid intended for starving Somali children and women stolen. The only way you can be sure that money you donate will reach starving people is to go there yourself and hand it out personally. Waa yaab dad dadkoodii gaajo iyo macaluul u dhinteen oo dunidu u soo tuugsanayso oo iyagii ka sii xadayaan meeshaay caawin lahaayeen. Nasiib daro xun baa haaysata soomaaliya, Ilahaay ha u sahlo. Please u soo duceeya, bill khair qabta baaynu ku jirnaa.

  7. Oba@ my point was Allah helps those who help themselves''...so if you've got a problem, you've got to try to solve it. Soomaalida dhan waxaay iska dhigaan dad wadaniyiin ahaa balse nasiib xumo dalkoodii iska dumay. Taasna macquul ma aha oo hadii aay wadaniyiin ahaayeen waa laga arki lahaa. shacabkaa wadankooda difaacan lahaa ee dhaawr nin oo war lord ah in aay dalka bur buriyaan umadana qixiyaan lagama yeeleen.Mida kale walaasheen Nina baa tiri Ilahaay baa xugmad in umada soomaaliyeed is laayaan wadankeenuna bur buro. Ilaahay waxa xun ma xugmo, ficilka xun oo dulmiga ah shaaydaan buu ka sugnaaday. Allah Almighty says clearly in the Quran: "Allah sets forth a parable: a city enjoying security and quiet, supplied with sustenance from every place. Yet it was ungrateful for the favors of Allah, so Allah made it taste of hunger and fear because of what its people wrought." [sûrah al-Nahl: 112] Qur,aanka baa daliil inoo ah, wixii khalad iyo sax ahna ku qoran yihiin. Anyways cafis, no hurt feelings.
