  3. ^how can they "iskadhaaf" like u put it...I think this wedding was mixed with the nikaax, wasnt the dad giving away his daughter?!! or was that my eyes lol..anyhow everyone is entitled to their opinion..but what proves you are happy? to smile at the camera all day?? to buy the best dress out there looking like a doll and taking off ur hijaab like many girls do including hijaabis.? renting some expensive hotel for just one night and feeding 200 ppl u dnt know or care about ?..oo hadhow dhaha hebla bariis xun ee nasiisay ama hebla dresskeedi alla qaabdarana and this and that ....at the end of the day happiness is about you and your spouse and how u treat one another not one superficial day....theres hadith that said the best of u are those who are best to their family..showing off is unnecessary! and lmao@Waraaqaha xaashiyaasha wax dhulka ka qaado maala waaye. I simply don't like littering. kursiga ba ka dhici gaadhay..i didnt even notice that! subhanalah..let me rewatch it not that it will change my opinion of it!!.. salaam
  4. Nina, that is so sad that a mother of two would waste so much money on a wedding. Subhanalah u would assume she would be more mature and responsible.. n i dnt know if jasmine is a soler, bt i think she is african american i believe i have seen few of her other utube links. (bt u never know?) Ayoub is cidagale another way of saying warfaa? like u went to another wedding that u didnt even know the groom or the bride lmao..ur sad case walee joking..hope u enjoyed ur bariis.. Narniah, I agree with you..mashallah Nuune aduu marna qosolku ma wacna dheh marna wax qoslaya raadi...adiga i think u just love to be critical lmao..Besides, they look content to me.. Abtigiis I think we over do with weddings..this looks simple and islamic..funeral kulaha salaaam
  5. This is for ms moons lol, i just had to share it...how simple these ppl are...and having so many brothers i never really understand having separate weddings ofcourse i know it is islamically must if u want to have fun but then again u wanna share it with your father and brothers .something to reflect upon (and as somalis i doubt we are ever gonna be this simple lol)... salaam
  6. Nuune, lol nop I don't ever play teh bridesmaid role something I simply don't like..sitting somewhere like a doll for too many hours doesnt work with me Juxa, I abbreviated it (so i think im safe lmao).. 8. Alderman, doesnt matter what others muslims do or don't. There is clear distinction between what islam teaches us, and what ppl decide to do. salaam
  9. I know human hair is haraam, I said that number of times in my posts. I was asking about synthetic hair..but now that you mentioned that the prophet csw didnt allow a woman whose hair fallen down, I would assume from there that even a synthetic hair is haraam. Anyways, I have decided to not bother with it..thanks for your 2 cents.. salaam
  10. I hardly put anything on my face lol..other than normal creams...sometimes make up!!..I guess I am more obsessed with my hair than my face lol with that been said, thank you for sharing this videos. They are informative. salaam

  15. nikkah and get hitched. dont bother with big crazy weddings. I agree with you juxa, I recently bought myself this book titled "Sahih Muslim" and it is compiled by Al-hafiz Zakiuddin Abdul-Azin Al-mundhiri I really recommend that book and there's like million hadiths in there pertaining to different topics. And, there is one hadith there talking abt how simple the prophet's wedding was (and one would have to ask themselves are they better than the prophet when they want crazy weddings ..subhanalah being simple is part of faith).. So if i was you ms moons I would heed to Juxa's advice..barakatu waxay ku jirta being simple (oh my god I cant believe i just said that I think grew up LOL).. salaam
  16. masha allah beautiful family indeed. Juxa nop sis. I am not taking part of it...laakin I wish those who are the best, may allah swt bless them salaam p.s when people say they are walking from a city to another, it doesn't mean they will be walking the whole trip..some will be driving and some will be walking..
  17. Juxa lol thanks for the advice bt the lady had the biggest accent u would think she was speaking punjabi .. Val, looool i was bored and just felt like stalking my SOL crew n ye Jumca wanagsan salaam
  18. Lmaooooooooooooooo why is everyone dressed the same? it is creepy!
  19. Bored beyond my mind in my night lecture, the prof or assistant prof dnt know which one she is..but seriously she has the biggest indian accent. I don't understand one word she just uttered..im yawning..so i decided to check SOl's group on facebook (mind you im using my sister's page lol i dnt use one i said that million times )..so i see many of you have the guts to put your pics up seriously and ur mentioning ur nicknames on sol on top of it..ye all crazzzy! Jb doesnt look that bad between if that's him wearing a suit mashallah lol..im so random I know don't mind me .. salaam
  20. Lol nah it has noin to do with ur days or my days lol u aint much older than me..but perhaps there are ppl who wait a year to have their nikaax (especially those who dont wanna date behind their parents back lol and who are upfront marka u are probably right )...and I agree that u need to bring the guy ur seeing to ur parents ASAP sharaftu halkaas bay ku jirtaa..laakin sometimes when u bring someone ur parents might think it is all serious and what not lol like u are serious but not too serious to get married like maybe u are window shopping still LOL.. salaam
  21. ^nowadays somalis do the nikaax right after the doonis, and then wait a year and have aroos..dnt ask me where they got that culture..laakin wali ma arag gabadh laso donay and then she waits a year to have a nikaax? but who knws myabe some do it!! salaam
  22. like horay lo yidhi somalis are cultural gabadh lasoo donayna guriga ma u joogaso for months lol ...So maybe 3 months tops is alright inta aad arooska isku daba ridasid shaqadiisa...6 months is a bit stretching it. How abt the dude just doesn't come to your family till you guys have everything figured out salaam
  23. ^LOL waa akhiru samaan markaa salaam
  24. ^just cuz its our dhaqan doesnt make it halaal..ladies used to rock their afro in the 80s does that make it right.?? NOO anyhow our dhaqan is fine..dirac gabadh ya u diiday (she should just wear it in her house or all girls parties)..or if she can try to be as islamic as possible she can wear it with a long sweater and you know a hijaab? maybe that will work? i dnt really knw its quite uncomfortable walking around with a dirac marba tafta haysid..bt whatever works for everyone the key is to be modest. salaam
  25. dirac and gabisaar isnt something one wuld wear outside (at least not on daily basis even if one chooses to wear it on occasions).. rather diracs are unislamic frm my point of view. Most of them are see through...where abaya and hijaab are not ugly but modest~ wa yaab when ppl think being modest is ugly, alle haso hanuuniyu.. salaam
