In parts of the world, where unending pregnancy and childbirth kills mothers and orphans children daily, where teenage girls are "given" in marriage to married men old enough to be their grandfathers so that they too can partake of the circle of childbirth and childdeath, a little sexual revolution wouldn't go amiss. Anything that is planned by Allah SWT to happen, will happen. We have no choice. As for the teenage girls being given to middle-aged men, they cannot be married without their permission. So if they are being forced into marriage against their will, then the marriage is not halal. This is no "sexual revolution",this is halal marriage. They are not going around and screwing whoever they want like the "revolution" Baashi is talking about.

The phrase "honour killing" is an oxymoron in the first place. What honour do you receive from killing your own sister? If a woman is married and cheats on her husband and 4 eyewitnesses confirm the deed, then she should be stoned to death according to the Shariah. As for the man she cheates with,I imagine his punishment would be the same(stoning). If she is not married, she is to be lashed 80(i think?) times,as well as her partner. So what kind of honour are you bringing upon yourself if you have no proof that your sister(or whoever) cheated?Someone who commits this "honour killing" is clearly wrong and there is proof from the sunnah for that(unless you have the 4 witnesses, which isn;t very likely).

I'm hoping that Minnesota beats Vancouver every time they meet.I hate the bloody Canucks.

LOL I didn't forget about the Leafs,Pucca. It's just that Toronto always plays Ottawa in the playoffs and Ottawa always wins.Actually I don't think Toronto has ever won a playoff series against Ottawa.... Red Sea, Here are the Stanley Cup winners from '79 to present.. Masha Allah, what a story. This is the kind of story that makes us all look back at the bad things we've done and ask Allah SWT to forgive us and make us better, because we don't want to end up like the guy in the car.

LOL Qac Qaac,it won't be long before Minnesota runs outta steam and Calgary takes their place.CGY vs. OTT for the cup!!

Who believe lone in the net????? This is a disturbing trend among people of all ages, colors, locations. But in Somali's case,I like to call it "Paltalk love".You may fall in love with someone you met over the internet, but it is not the same as someone you have met in person.People always use different names, ages, pictures, and in Somali's case, different qabiil. The person you've been talking to is most likely not telling you the truth, and that's why I would discourage internet,or paltalk love.

You hit the nail right on the head with that one. These people have no problem asking questions until they're out of breath, but when we give them answers,it seems that their ears become useless. All of a sudden, they can't hear us,but they've still got more and more questions!! In a xadiis(I don't remember the exact wording),Nabi Muhammad SCW said,"Some people will never stop asking questions until they ask,'If Allah is the creator of everything, then who created Allah?'"

OK,this is retarded.Everyone's laughing HAHAHAHA but they won't translate it cuz it's ramadan?C;mon guys, either translate it or ignore the thread. You guys are making me jealous cuz I don't know swahili.

The only reason Somalia is the same as these other countries is because they can't have a negative number.0 is the lowest they could go.Although they could have signified the extreme corruption by drawing flames over Somalia as if it was on fire.

What's xaraam about being a lawyer is defending someone whom you know is guilty of breaking the law. But I'm sure there are other depts. that are halal to practice, such as marriage counseling,or immigration law.

LOL@ sigma!!That was the only funny part. Actually,I didn't even get the joke

Originally posted by Nur: Its sad they had to shut down the Al Haramain Foundation and many other Muslim foudnations who did monumental charity work the past 13 years in Somalia with the terrorist pretext, just to let Christian missionarues replace them to come as kind and loving angels so our kids admire Christianity and despise islam, its sad that we are not volunteering ourselves to do thaat work, if we admire this woman, we should show it by volunteering to work with the kids ourselves, after all they are ours, should someone from Australia care for our own kids? Nur Well obviously, someone has to take care of our kids, because we're doing a piss poor job of it ourselves. The only thing Somalis as a nation can agree on is to disagree.More than 15 years of war have definitely taken its toll.If Islamic organizations are being shut down and being replaced by masiixi groups, who can we blame? No one but ourselves because we've been too busy blowing up buildings and each other over some useless qabiil to even notice that Christians are moving in. If Somalia could just pull their heads out of their collective a$$ and stop this nonsensical war,we wouldn't need these charity organizations in the first place insha Allah

LOL@Ngonge People, why are we still talking about this? It's gone on for 7 pages now,and no one has taken my advice and stopped their nonsensical house-riding!! This thread kind of reminds me of the Simpson Treehouse of Horror episode where the Simpsons house-sit for Mr. Burns' mansion and and the elevator door opens up and blood spills out everywhere. Then Mr. Burns says,"That's odd.The blood usually gets off on the 2nd floor"

Originally posted by Nur: 1. Parents are not raising the kids well That's the parents' fault, they should know better, seeing as they are the ones charged with raising them up to be good Muslims 2. Public School system a negative influence Enroll them in private Islamic schools, they're not that expensive that Somali parents can't afford it,and in the case if they really can't afford it,the parents need to let the children know they are not like the rest of the kufaars in school,so they should not copy them. 3. Streets and neighborhood are very bad influence The streets and neighbourhood are a bad influence in Somalia as well, but everyone is trying to leave Somalia,so why aren't they trying to find a place where the environment is not a bad influence?I mean if the streets are raising your children in the first place, then why not stay in Somalia? At least they're in a somewhat Islamic environment.Children are in just as much danger of falling into gangs and other types of xumaan if they live in a different country,if parents aren't taking the necessary precautions with their children. 4. Poverty, kids would do anything to buy what they like. Once again, the parents are responsible. They need to teach their children that money is not everything.Allah SWT will insha Allah provide for us,and that's what these kids need to learn. [/QB] Brother Nur,I can understand that you mean we need to take drastic measures to ensure the safety of our children, but circumcision is not the answer. There are millions of non-circumcised Muslim and kufaar girls that manage to maintain their virginity and dignity, and why is that?Because their parents are taking the responsibilities that Allah SWT has held them accountable for.The answer with wayward children does not lie with the children themselves, but the parents who have neglected their duties as protectors and guardians of heir children. There are many reasons for why they have done so,which I will not get into, but my main point is that your intentions may be noble, but I feel they are misdirected.
