YoniZ Posted July 7, 2007 I do really feel sorry for those confused girls and the young Nomad generation in Europe who has been terribally failed by their parents and community at large. I dont get why we always scream "shame"! when these kind of actions occur. It is just a reflection of Isbaaro back home and the negligence of the Nomad parents in Europe to their childeren. On Friday four of the girls were jailed by Solna district court, reported Aftonbladet. A 19 year old was given a two month prison sentence and further probation for robbery and falsification of documents. Three 17 year olds were sentenced to youth detention of between two years and two and a half years. The other two girls were given suspended sentences. During the attacks the girls hid their faces behind veils. In one incident, a 71 year old woman was pushed down a staircase after three of the girls snatched her handbag. Prosecutor Viktor Carlberg said that he was largely satisfied with the verdict. Anyhow, they are going to pay for what they have done, it was cruel and whatever reason drove them to do it is irreverent, absolutely nothing can justify their inhumane act. Personally, as a Somali sister who wears hijab I am boiling with anger, they should have at least taken the hijaab off. The hijab is not just a material of cloth which u just put on your head. It has a meaning behind it. A meaning which apparently these Somali girls have no clue of. I wonder why they would wear hijaab yet rob, not just rob anyone but elderly ladies who are vulnerable?
