What he tells you is that recognition means little when you dont control your destiny , Recognition is a formality and acceptance to the international community. Somaliland sovereignty is enforced by its sons and its ability to govern over its citizens. Somalia has recognition yet Turks run the development projects and the Ugandans provide the security where is the sovereignty. Somalia cannot even raise its voice towards the Kikuyu who are harassing Somalia refugees. The only thing we really want recognition is for our currency to be recognized, we can sign agreements with multi billion companies under the legal framework of the SDC Somaliland development corporation, as SL has done with the oil firms and the Bollore logistics company But for the rest really it has no real value it will only a boost for the cause from a legal point of view, and that will come in time.
