That sounds like an interesting proposition. Thanks for the info, will add it to my wishlist, along with Half the Sky. :)

:D No problem, i have to warn you though... it might get a little tense.

I had to revist that book multiple times because it was just too heavy.

It touches A LOT on animisim and traditional spiritual knowledge that is usually marginilized... some of it might come of like 'sixiir' lol

but as long as you are open, the ultimate message behind it is powerful.

Enjoy.

Lets share random photos in the daily routines of our lives
:D

I'll start, today is lazy Sunday on my porch... this consists of mindless 'journaling' & catching up on my readings.

Now, your turn
:P

I wish I knew how to upload photos straight from P.C

I'm not sure if the tab on here for directly uploading photos works well or I'm in the same boat as you lol

I gave up on it, and settled for an image hosting site like photobucket or tinypic.

The folks that constructed this site need to tweak things a little bit more for convenience, especially for mp3s & personal photos from anywhere.

Currently... Tea & Mad Men. (granted it's an old photo).

Ironically I'm not a big fan of this show, i only watch it when i want to cringe & exclaim at the misogynistic ways of the 60s lol

Anybody else watch it?

No probs, I'm pretty good at sieving out the necessary info. I took a peek @ the book on amazon and like the stuff on the African education system. It's a shame that many of us still put western ideals on a pedestal and and insist on replicating their curriculum.
