Somalia

I didn't make it out to be PL/SL, but some guys always find the time to do so, so one must respond.

There was one plant in Algeria which provides water for 2 to 3 million people. I misread the thread, it says coastal areas, I am talking about a region as a whole.

Somalia, N.O.R.F and co.... Desalination plants run more on fuel than natural energy. Oil or coal, to be exact, are expensive commodities that may be counterproductive to what people want to do which is to make available another natural resource.

Presently it isn't the way to go, but a few years down the line, and the prospects of Somali oil, things might change.
