CAF and Fifa are echoing the sentiments and the feeling of pride restored and emotions we have had the past two weeks or so when the 18th National Football Tournament was first opened by President Farole and the first game was kicked off in Garowe. These spectacle being one of a time and historic as 15 regions within Somalia participated in the tournament and was the first games held since 1987 for more then 22 years there were no games held and even the last games the best 8 teams would participate in the national tournament held in Mogadishu but Puntland outpassed that and 15 teams participated this time around.

Nugul

I would have been better if you replace the flag with the Somali flag so others would share the moment with you; we feel excluded!

Indeed Duke as made clear by the below verses:

You in Sky fluttering flag,

Thy symbol mark consist:

The Blue in Awale’s Azure

The White Hue for Amity ‘n‘,

The Meadow Green that stand for Leas

Prosperities ye renowned for!

Thy soil is rich with Abundance

Sweet scents, aroma ‘n’ fragrance

For Punt-land’ Aid thou came to light

Fortune and luck as day ‘n’ night

In your time, ne’er to be sagged!

The Somali Flag is right there on top.
