Mogadishu 08, May.07 ( Sh.M.Network) Ciidamada Midowga Africa ee jooga Somalia ayaa maanta markii ugu horreysay saxaafadda u soo bandhigay qaabka ay u sugeen amaanka dekedda magaalada Muqdisho.

 

Kooxo suxufiyiin ajaanib iyo Somali ah oo maanta ay u yeereen ciidamada Amisom ee Somalia ayaa waxa ay uga war bixiyeen qaabka shaqo ee dekedda magaalada Muqdisho iyo howlaha dhinaca amaanka ah ee ay ka qabteen tan iyo markii ciidamada Ethiopia ay kala wareegeen gacan ku heynta dekedda Muqdisho.

 

Lt. Gen. Katumba Wamala oo suxufiyiinta ugu waramay gudaha dekedda ayaa sheegay in ciidamada Uganda ee jooga Somalia ay wax weyn ka qabteen dhinaca amaanka, tan iyo markii ay soo gaareen caasimadda Somalia.

No new AU troops for Somalia

Ghanaian President and current African Union chairperson, John Agyekum Kufuor, on Tuesday rubbished reports that the AU would be sending additional peacekeeping troops to Somalia.

 

"I never said immediately, I said the AU wants to send 8 000 peacekeepers as soon as possible
but we are having trouble finding the troops," Kufuor said in Pretoria where he was meeting South African President Thabo Mbeki.

 

On Monday it was reported that the AU would send an extra 8 000 peacekeepers to Somalia, a statement attributed to Kufuor, but on Tuesday he said he was referring to the original deployment of AU troops, not any new ones.

^^ lool si xun baad o afjartay odayga. He thought he would ruin the thread with a disastrous article but didnt get that its all over now and tht we barely need any more peacekeepers soon.
