ICU could not convince a single Somali why the capture of Kismayo? Its not for lack of trying, but the reason is very sinciter. Kismayo was captured solely for the use of Alqaeda and nobody else.

The TFG will keep Kismayo on the front burner, and is not going away. Alqaeda has to make a hundred suicide bombs everywhere to overshadow Kismayo issue.

what else besides peace did they have,there was no law and order,a warlord was ruling the place,the tribes that lived in the city were divided along clan lines.

 

Kismayo hasn't lost a bit but only upright,they have even further stability as well as law and order in the city not to mention equality amongst the diverse sub tribes and all of those they did not have under warlord col. Barre Hiiraale.
