Photos of Marka and Las Qoray.

Recommended Posts

Excellent photos there. I love the sense of "frozen in time" and the emptyness of the those somewhat deserted quarters. It puts you into a state of wonder, that is how the rest of today's big sprawling cities might have been years ago. Somewhat close to how I would have pictured it in a sheeko-xariir about bari-samaadkii. :D

"dhismaha Masjidka Jaamacaddul Khadiimi oo la dhisay 682 sanadka Miilaadiyada"

Prophet Mohamed (SCW) was alive at that time. That makes it one of the oldest mosques built.

^^^Nice one Indeed-so is Bari's. WOW if that masjid is that old-I hope I have the time insha-allah to visit it :D

NB: the skinnless fishes were scary a bit-but all good.

NASSIR

Oh Beautiful pictures but i would love to see an aerial view of Las Qorey the same as Baraawe (Brava) and Merka. It seems the report is students on Seminar traversing different cities not necessarily limited to one city. Thanks Bari_Nomad and others.
