Qudhac: Puntland state has economically never been better, the export of livestock, the unification of the tax revenue collection service by the finance chief as well as the reduction of inflation have all had positive impacts on the state.

Even the oil exploration deal is going ahead as well as infrastructure development supported by various international donors.

Your claims highlight the bankruptcy of the secessionists, weak and irrelevant in the great scheme of things.

General Dukey, just because there might be oil in there it doesn't grant wealth or development just look at nigeria's rich oil Delta region - 100 hundred people day per month , ethnic tensions i just think faroole might want to keep all that oil for his clan and not share around the people of puntland and that could create clan tensions and possible war you should be worried about that since faroole is not that reliable worse then Tute Muse.

Nigeria is not rich a country but they have few billionaires and pocket mans who benefited mostly from that money but most of the civilians are poor that is the reality of africa oo dhaan expect few countries who are not corrupted such as Angola ,zambia, Tunisia, Namibia etc all those very fast developing countries , and no thanks nobody needs to come to garoowe expect of course the Garaads of Sool in exile. ;) .

^^^Sacad, when the Oil starts flowing everyone in Somalia will find a Puntland relative and declare their love for the beautiful region of Bari.

Thats human nature, thus lets wait. As for Nigeria, its a rich nation compared to many in Africa.
