The chickens have come home to roost: Frankenstein is loose

The president's convoy had just left when the explosions went off

In 2006 the suicide bomber was introduced to Somalia, the “Islamic Courts” or as we came to know them as the Clan courts of Mogadishu with their foreign guests carried out an attack on then President of Somalia Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed. This attack resulted in the death of the President Brother and a number of other security officials and the injury of many more. It was a spectacular attack, the first of its kind and the ace the fake religious groups had up their sleeves.

These groups and their supporters were overjoyed with the attack; most jubilantly exclaimed that it was the right way to deal with “puppets” and “enemies of Islam” or anyone who opposed the naked clan ambition of the likes of IndaCade, Xasan Dahir & Abukar Cadaan. Now disgraced and bankrupt fellows but at that time, the gullible lot adored these morons, defended their actions and always added salutations after their names as if they were our very own modern day saints. The Amir of the faithful at the time was Sharif Ahmed or our Sharif Hotel, who vague words on that day mark a stark contrast to today. Then Sharif Ahmed denied their was any Al Qaeda presence in Somalia, he was adamant and his supporters claimed that they were home grown Islamists while everyone else was a foreign agent of Ethiopia, Israel or the Americans.

Lets ignore the gullible lot, those who fell in love with the easy lies and simple statements of Sharif Hotel, they do not matter, nor shall the author waste time on the tools, the likes of Godane, Afghani and other mercenaries or the warlords Ahmed Madobe & Xasan Turki who are perennial under achievers.

The important group to focus on are the Looters Inc, those led by the likes of mad man Xasan Dahir & IndaCade, who subjugated large areas of the south to their clans will and played a central role in the creation of the Clan Courts and hosting the terrorists agents in Mogadishu and the deep south. This group and its supporters and Diaspora started to believe their own lies, the fund raising and rabid demonstrations in London was aimed at toppling Yusuf Yey. The fact that they turned their clan regions into a theater of war, used their civilians as human shields to hide among and that they created the mass displacement as a way to undermine a government that was not going to last forever underlines their misplaced priorities and deep rooted Machiavellian tendencies. Was it all worth it?

Yusuf retirement and the emergence of an independent Al Shabaab devastated the ambitions of this group, all one needs to do is witness the Zombie like rants of their members and their anti Shabaab demonstrations and threats. What a difference a year makes. Returning to the central theme of the post, in 2006 this group along with the gullible ones belived that suicide bombing was a problem for Abdullahi Yusuf. However time has proven them wrong as suicide bombing has become a Somali problem and today no one is safe from the monster that was created by our own Frankenstein, the Looters Inc. Suicide bombers struck at the heart of Beledweyne, killing former clan warlord turned Interior Minister of Sharif Hotel as well as many of his relatives and kinsmen. The fact that this fellow was supporting Al Shabaab from Asmara only a few months earlier underlined the confusion of the times.

Then Al Shabaab struck a hotel full of bright and innocent medical graduates, teachers, parents and a number of civilian Ministers of good record and standing. Amongst the victims of this mass murder was Ibrahim Xasan Cadowe, who along with the Sharif was a symbol of the clan courts, a remarkable man who at the time of the first suicide bombings was claiming there was no problem when it comes to terrorists in Somalia. The problem is while the Somali’s had clan agenda, loot and power on their minds in 2006, the foreigners who were arriving had a different agenda, one that was not only contradictory but opposed to the vested interested of every Somali.

Now our Frankenstein monster is on the loose and we must not become reactionary and emotional, lets think rationally on how we can capture this creature and exile it from our lands. Due to the ********* of the Looters Inc, and the blind love of the gullible ones we have arrived at this juncture, but this is time for all Somali’s to rise above their differences and unite in preserving the future interest of our race.

I vividly remember that day, it was the 18th of September 2006. The President still carries the wounds on his back neck and is clearly marked by this event.

I will not forget it. The jubilations were great on that day here on SOL but soon turned out to be something else. Today we are where we were in 2006, still without a unified strategy and vision on how to deal with these groups. Somalia needs a visionary and strong leader with military background or at least some backbone.

Today we are in a much worse situation; the terror groups are much stronger and now led by competent foreigners beholden to their own interests while the silly Somali puppets like Xasan Dahir are hiding out in the very refugee camps they helped create.

Sharif Hotel is a weak muddle of a man who is easily the worst leader in Somali history or even in the history of mankind. A laughing stock who in a whole year has not outlined a single policy for the nation he leads.

Yusuf was a tough enemy to the Al Shabaab and other anti Somali forces, that’s the reason they were forced to introduce the suicide bomb to our beloved country, the fact that he survived it all and humbled them is a testament to his strength as a leader.

The gullible lot are still in love with Sharif Hotel, which is quite sad.

;)

I don't know what you were expecting there Duke but Sharif was expected to be like this. What has he accomplished or ever done prior to this calling of his?

He's no military man, they put him in charge where is none to lead. A ordinary man without much knowledge in government let alone experience chosen to lead men, who is quiet oblivious in his role. They put him there in the cold and left him alone. He would struggle I knew that from the outset. We don't need to speak of experience in here when the basics are ignored. Sharif came, saw was puzzled and did not win.

It is clear took full advantage of what the west was trying here. They had problems with unifying 'different' components and armies of the two merged 'entities', where soon it was revealed that Sharif had nothing only a few men who later on were then incorporated into the TFG Army, when the rest were playing a double game by refusing to were the same uniforms as the TFG a never forgettable saga of how Sharif was played badly by his components and 'friends' alike who would later on betray him who were clear that he had to go and was very weak.

Today as you think the situation cannot get any worse the situation on the ground spells otherwise.

^^^lool. If it is not the secessionist weakling, adeer I am dead serious, when the first suicide bomber attacked Yusuf, many thought it was his problem, of course only the ignorant feel pain when it hits them. The secessionist felt it in Hargaysa a year ago and those who used to support such actions are feeling it now.

Nothing has changed, other than Yusuf departure has highlighted how weak everyone who used to shout at him truly were. ;)

However the post is not about the legend Yusuf, its about how we can deal with the monster Concentrate adeer. :D

UZTAAD

indeed chickens has come to roost.

Don't sow thorns; for they will prick your feet

If you shoot arrows at others,

Know that the same arrow will come back to hit you.

Don't dig a well in another's path,

In case you come to the well’s edge

What a co-incident Gen.Duke. I used the same term "Monster" not coming across your post up until now.

Thanks for the reminder. Though the media plays a big role, the internet is quite shaping the views of the public with regards to the double-standards of some well-known figures. Someone once disclosed an MP3 recorded speech of Abdiqasim Salad endorsing a foreign intervention when he was an Interim president in stark contrast to his position at the time of Yusuf's term, backpedaling on the same subject, a reflection of the deep-seated distrust and enmity that define Somali politics.

Some people just can get over the old quisling who has failed miserably.

First he was outmaneuvered by the factional leaders of Mogadishu who let his foreign-created regime station in Nairobi for one year, than he was lured by M.dheere to come to Jowhar so he could milk the cash-cow that called itself the recognized government. After two years of going nowhere, and been ordered by the real power behind the scenes in jowhar: M.dheere, the old quisling escaped to Baidoba in the middle of the night steeling even the bed sheets his hosts gave him!

Than the old quisling found himself caught in Baidoba with Ethiopians been the real power behind the scenes. Finally the Islamic Revolution broke out in Mogadishu and the old quisling begged his masters in Addis Abebba to protect him and bring him to Mogadishu on the back of Tigre tanks. When his masters fulfillied his pathetic wish, he thought Mogadishu would be tamed but became holed in a bunker been bombarded day and night. His 30.000 Ethiopian soldiers could do nothing and they were fought mercilessly in Mogadishu, the centre of the resistance war to liberate our country from the Habashi army the old quisling and other warlords brought in.

When it became clear to the world that Mogadishu would not be subjugated by 30.000 Ethiopian troops and that the quisling by the name of A.Yusuf was weak, old and disoriented they brought in Nur Adde who finally outmanoevred the old quisling. We all remember the desperate moves of A.Yusuf to depose Nur Adde and appoint Gacmodheere to the post of PM. After 2 weeks of more desperate actions, the old quisling was made to flee Mogadishu to Yemen in excile as a refugee.

The irony in this: the likes of Duke and his whole clan-family in Northeastern region had actually hopes of seeing the old quisling as a president of a stable country and were already having wet dreams of the shameless corruption they engaged during 1960-1969.

Give it a rest, the old quisling is gone, the warlord era is gone, this is a new period with new players. Don’t become stuck in the old past (A.Yusuf, the old quisling). Ever since the old quisling was defeated you have become a broken record, a divorced wife filled with jealousy and hate.

Professional Haterz would say otherwise, but the Islamic Courts Union Emirates was the best government Somalia had in the past 20 years. The Sixth months of peace and leadership under his former excellency, the former emirul mumineen wa fi Soomaal, Sheikh Shariff Sheikh Ahmed, will forever live in our memories. Too bad this peace was destroyed by a combination of zealots and traitors, the latter being far worse in stature.

Good topic, the Somalis are too weak to admit their mistakes.

Suicide bombing is a disaster, no one should celebrate when it hits what they perceive to be the enemy. There are those who still celebrate when it hits Hargeisa or Bosaso whereas others celebrate when Mogadishu or other areas of the in the south is the target. Very sad!

Duke, unless Somalis discuss about this honestly and quite openly nothing will be resovled, and that this problem will come to devastate and cause much more destruction than we saw in Mogadishu, 3rd December, in all corners of the country.
