A Woman’s Look in the Mirror (we should all learn from this little

story)

Age 3: Looks at herself and sees a Queen!

Age 8: Looks at herself and sees herself as Cinderella/Sleeping Beauty.

Age 15: Looks at herself and sees herself as Cinderella/Sleeping

Beauty/Cheerleader, or if she is PMS-ing: sees Fat/Pimples/UGLY (Mom

can’t go to school looking like this!)

Age 20: Looks at herself and sees “too fat/too thin, too short/too tall,

too straight/too curly” - but decides she’s going anyway.

Age 30: Looks at herself and sees “too fat/too thin, too short/too tall,

too straight/too curly” - but decides she doesn’t have time to fix it so

she’s going anyway.

Age 40: Looks at herself and sees “too fat/too thin, too short/too tall,

too straight/too curly” - but says, “At least I’m clean” and goes anyway.

Age 50: Looks at herself and sees “I am” and goes wherever she wants to

go.

Age 60: Looks at herself and reminds herself of all the people who can’t

even see themselves in the mirror anymore. Goes out and conquers the

world.

Age 70: Looks at herself and sees wisdom, laughter and ability, goes out

and enjoys life.

Age 80: Doesn’t bother to look. Just puts on a purple scarf and goes Out

to have fun with the world.

Everyone needs to be told they’re great, so here’s to YOU! To an

exceptionally beautiful woman! The beauty of a woman is not in the

clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her

hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen within her eyes, because that is

the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. The beauty of a

woman is not in a facial mole. But true beauty in a woman is reflected in

her soul. It is the caring that she longingly gives, the passion that

shows, and the beauty of a woman with passing years - only grows!

YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, PHENOMENAL WOMAN!!

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies

I'm not cute or built to suit a model's fashion size

But when I start to tell them

They think I'm telling lies.

I say

It's in the reach of my arms

The span of my hips

The stride of my steps

The curl of my lips.

I'm a woman

Phenomenally

Phenomenal woman

That's me.

I walk into a room

Just as cool as you please

And to a man

The fellows stand or

Fall down on their knees

Then they swarm around me

A hive of honey bees.

I say

It's the fire in my eyes

And the flash of my teeth

The swing of my waist

And the joy in my feet.

I'm a woman

Phenomenal woman

That's me.

Men themselves have wondered

What they see in me

They try so much

But they can't touch

My inner mystery.

When I try to show them

They say they still can't see.

I say

It's in the arch of my back

The sun of my smile

The ride of my breasts

The grace of my style.

I'm a woman

Phenomenally

Phenomenal woman

That's me.

Now you understand

Just why my head's not bowed

I don't shout or jump about

Or have to talk real loud

When you see me passing

It ought to make you proud.

I say

It's in the click of my heels

The bend of my hair

The palm of my hand

The need for my care.

'Cause I'm a woman

Phenomenally

Phenomenal woman

That's me.
