No qabiil names allowed whatsoever

Recommended Posts

For your information, SOL never allowed naming qabiil names on its platform since its inception almost quarter century ago. There is a reason behind it and it worked for two decades. Refer to the pinned post on the top.

We have been lenient, however lately, it is getting ridiculous the posts and threads that contain explicit qabiil names. It is not allowed. Period. Not shorthanded letters standing for qabiils, either.

It will be edited out and deleted, should it continue. Don't waste your time nor ours by writing qabiil names.

Dear sir,

Despite your idealism, which is rather admirable, how does one discuss Somali politics, rooted in its foundation on clan politics, without mentioning tribal names? You could argue against excessive use of it, but wholly pushing against it is rather reductive, if futile, methinks

MMA,

Sxb, I see where you are coming from as an old-timer, but certain situations are hard to avoid.  Thanks to HSM's Soomaali heshiis ah,  most conflicts are clan driven.
