Make sense

two clear examples when the EPLF and the TPLF enterted Addis Ababa the Ethiopian army the big generals fled  Mengistu fled but the army was intact the EPLF and TPLF didnt fight the Ethiopian army  they surrounded their head quarters and told every one the  Country has a new supreme General. General Philipos who was an Eritrean became the General of the EDF.  They just filled the vaccuum. Where is in Somalia  the red barrets and the other militia who shared a lineage with Afweyne fought untill the bitter end against the USC  the rest were forced to join the rebel movements by Omar arte qaalib which led to the disentigration of the Somali army. But this didnt happen in Ethiopia, the Ethiopian army just got new leaders and it continued

galbeedi

Why is this lunatic is even talking about Lughaya while his backyard is burning. 🔥. Maybe the treacherous British asked him to save the fake sessionist project  in exchange for relief from world bank and the ongoing  investigation about his crimes in the international criminal court.

Major difference: The US under the aegis of former President J Carter had been managing the entire process from within in consultation with both sides of the conflict. You should read his memoirs, and others' in the region for a more complete picture of how the Ethiopian conflict unfolded, and diffused.

It seems Fano's goal is to first exhaust the ENDF and drain the Abiy admin's resources.  These bursts of attack on towns and cities and then retearing became a pattern. In response, Abiy's forces attack residents which in turn prompts more people to join Fano.

I doubt if there was a zero sum game between Eritreans tigrayan and Amhara and galla . There was nothing the white lords could have prevented let’s just admit they had cooler heads when dealing. With contreversial issues such as secession independence and reconciliation. Wax walba wax iska caabin maha mengistu fled and went to Zimbabwe his generals either fled or surrendered to the eplf and tplf.   Afweyne fled  regrouped in gedo his generals either killled and they regrouped as a rebel group called snf and afweyne vowed to recapture Mogadishu from the native usc militia of xamar . All that while using his tribal homeland as base in gedo and tried to regroup there . When he saw that it was a lost war he fled and died in Nigeria
