Che,

Thanks for the update.

We will be taking part the celebration of the " Victory Day" in Laascaanood. It wasn't about defeating the Gooni goosato militia, it was the weakening of the colonial concept which returned to our country after we got rid of them in 1960. I know the Hargeisa regime is weak and the people are hungry, the only reason this concept survives is through the colonial powers  empowering them. Both the TPLF and the British were arming them for the last 25 years.

Baarka loo fidhayaa mooyee sanad ma gaadhheen.

Important agreements will be signed with Khaatumo including military, political and even cultural exchanges. We will for a united front against the corrupt government in Mogadishu who had failed both Khaatumo SSC and Awdal.

And by the way Hamza ( Mooge) who has proven to be not only weak but an opportunistic and glorified secretary just collecting some cash had crossed the line. Last year he ignored Khaatumo, a day or two ago he was asked about Awdal and said' Ma ogi ee Somalilnd ha soo heshiiso. Can you believe that?

There is something fishy in HSM and his government. The people can't wait the next two years to be done as soon as possible. Even in Egypt, there is a reports about his family trying to bring Egypt Air to mOgadishu and get the contract. You can't have both the power and the business.

IF this is how he wants to conclude his four year term may Allah help us. If he has any chance to achieve anything, he better change the regime and get a new premier and cabinet or keep looting and became the worst president in the history of Somalia like Ina Biixi.

The TPLF supplied weapons to Somaliland,  really for free and every piece of armament we acquired from Ethiopia was purchased by the Somaliland government nothing was given freely. As the old adage goes, "There is no such thing as a free lunch, dear lad." Now, consider who armed the feeble paper government of Somalia, Kenya and Uganda or the same Ethiopia that has thousands of troops inside of Somalia. Somaliland is a nation with deep-rooted institutions, built by its people. The British have not set foot in Somaliland for over 64 years, so I fail to understand your fixation on the past.

There is nothing colonial about Somaliland’s borders. If you oppose these boundaries due to some feigned disdain for colonial demarcations, then, by the same logic, you should consistently reject the borders between Kenya and Somalia and Ethiopia and Somalia , or even between Somaliland and Djibouti.

History has shown that many have attempted to challenge Somaliland, but they have all failed. Afweyne sought to forge an alliance with the weak alliance of laangaabs, to defeat the noble men of the North, yet he did not succeed, matter infact the entire Somali state collapsed, they lacked the fortitude to conquer the Duriyad people. Neither your so-called Dawarsi state nor those in Laascaanood, who are now reduced to begging their diaspora for their welfare in WhatsApp groups, can pose a serious challenge to Somaliland. Rest assured, the Somaliland government has significant plans in store for them.

Why are you upset with Hamza? He is correct Awdal is indeed peaceful, and this notion of a "Dawarsi state" is simply nonexistent. There are no tensions, no conflicts, and certainly no war in Awdal. What would you have him say? That there is conflict  ,  do you want him to lie??

Somaliland stands as the least colonial of all Somali  countries . Somali is the official language, and the ethnicity of Somaliland’s people is entirely Somali. There are no other languages spoken no Bravanese, Swahili, Italian, or Maay-Maay no other garam garam so waxad garatay maha.

Reflecting on the colonial identity you mentioned, it’s important to note that Somaliland was a British protectorate, not a colony in the true sense. A mere handful of British officials resided in Berbera, and that was about it . The local government was led by Somaliland’s  own chiefs, with the British primarily concerned with patrolling the Gulf of Aden. Consequently, Somaliland experienced minimal colonisation, which is why Somali culture remains so deeply rooted and vibrant there, more so than the failed state of somalia.

In Somaliland, the elders hold real power, preserving a tradition of governance and wisdom that is absent in Somalia walanweyns will  say xaww sheega duuqa,. And let us not overlook the fact that Somalia still uses the same coat of arms adopted during the Italian colonial period, featuring a cheetah. How imaginative one would think they might have taken the opportunity to craft a new national symbol. Yet, you have the audacity to label Somaliland a colonial entity, while the country you seem to favour clings to symbols from its colonial past, unchanged since 1936. Pitty indeed.

compare these young officers to the one man officers corp  of the Goonigoosato. All you see is the former cook of the 66 division of Somalia Nuux Taani. They can't match these boys.
