UK Government to cut all funding to RRU, SPU& CTU which all operate in Somaliland region by March 31

Recommended Posts

It is true the UK will be ending support to the Counter Terrorism forces in Somaliland. But it is all from re-alignment of focus.

The UK will focus on funding of Civilian Policing projects i.e. improving buearatic skills of policing work such as case management, humanrights, improvements to Prisons/Detention center operations.

While the EU will now be tasked to take responsibility of budgetory, training and equipping of Counter Terrorism forces in Somaliland.

There is no Al shabab in Somaliland region. RRU use to be used to raid civilian homes at night by Silanyo admin,  it is a good thing it is getting shut down.

Waaw, tuugsi badanaa ninkaan marqaanka ka soo kacay. Gaalkaas cad - the ergeyga Midowga Yurub ee Soomaaliya - muxuu u keeni karaa. I guess kistii yareyd la masuqmaasuqi jiray ayaa soo dhamaatay.

And by the way, how many times within months does this ergey visit secessionist headquarters from Xamar? Is he trying to dabagal lacagtee bixiyaan meeshee ku baxdo? This must be 4th or 5th time since the beginning of the year.

Suldaanka,

This vagabond troll kid does not know much about Somaliland. For the simple fact is that actually UK had move it up its support for Somaliland form low level to high level, in-terms of from mere support they used to give to us on the RRU front to now strategically helping us in a "military-to-military-sphere" with training of officers and with other more "stuff" being the central support in which the UK's government give directly to Somaliland. And more importantly, they heavily helping us in the "naval sphere".

Hence, he doesn't know that support of the RRU (and the counter-terrorism support in general) was really a small potatoes (or small change), at least in "comparison" to the kind of the "strategical and military support" that they have "entered" into it now as an agreement with us to do it henceforth.

So let him keep waffling on this. The RRU support was transferred to the EU (and you already told him). And also the support of the larger counter-terrorism sectional forces will also to some extend come from the UAE (who also agreed to do this).

But the support of the navy, especially the coast guard, and the military-to-military support (which is the heavy lifting that any nation needs) is what, now that UK are out of the EU and therefore the common EU's foreign policy does not tie their hand, can be what Somaliland could look forward to in getting it from them.

All in all, he does not know much in here. But that is given with him, anyway.

The irony of a man claiming to be of someone else's lineage accusing others of lacking sense of "shame" beggars belief. And in fact, it's thick form of Irony that even knife butter could be used to being cut with it.

But then again when you lack this level of basic education, and you are this kind glue-sniffing street kid of a vagabond sort in which some in here are really akin to, then I do not expect them to know the first thing about "kneecapping irony", or even avbout the notion of "boomerang irony" of the sort that actually "harm" one's argument more it does to anything else to other's argument and to their position.

Hence, keep waffling yea Ina-Gummeed. For the more of it the merrier it will be for us since it will help us to get belly-full of a laughter from their "own verbal goals".
