French President visits Ethiopia and Kenya, On the agenda a new strategy for Somalia's Future

Recommended Posts

Somalia is on the menu once again, and Cheeseman has no say in what is being cooked for Somalia.

Both Kenya and Ethiopia will take a front seat in formulating a new way to handle Somalia beyond AMISom.

Suldaanka,

That has always been the case with Somalia. But now it's just that Mr Cheeseman, has decided (not that long ago) to actually "surrender", openly and publicly, to Mr Abby Ahmed, who in turn effectively tells him what to do and how to do when it comes to Somalia's foreign policy.

Consequently, the European's powers are not going to waste their time on Mr Cheeseman, henceforth. But rather they will tell Mr Abby Ahmed - word for word - what they want to see happen in Somalia. And they in turn expect him to "deliver" Somalia in general and Mr Cheeseman in particularly, on a platter.

This state of affairs is what Mr Cheeseman's paid propagandist stooges in the social media are calling it a foreign policy success for Villa Somalia.

And the fact that Mr Abby Ahmed forms that policy and then tells what it is to Villa Somalia doesn't seems to be a "troubling picture" to the very folks who are in here of SOL, who in turn keep on telling us (at least on a daily basis), that Mr Cheeseman is a "First-Class Somali Patriot". Or at least he is in the running to become a "Deeply-red-eyed-Nationalist" for the political cause of Somalia.

Hence, when I say these teeming "absurdist" folks who "propagandize" for the likes of Mr Cheeseman in here of SOL (and in the other social media outlets) and how they have no idea of any "scintilla of truth" about matters pertaining to Somalia, this is what I was thinking about it. Or at least it was what I was having it in mind in fact.

  • Haha - That was funny. You made me laugh! 1

Abiy is using Somalia for the wrong reasons just to look big in the world while having mountains of problems at home.

Farmaajo has joined the wagon and made things worst. He made Somalia loose the momentum that was started with the Turkish. That for no benefit to Somalia from the other side.

The French leader didn’t bring anything new to horn. He is just lining up behind the British and others who was active in region for century. Nothing much he can offer and contribute. France is a dying empire.  It can only added forces to others and can not pretend any longer to be an independent powerful empire. He came to support the UAE program in the horn which was already in place. When he go home every one will forget him. Even western african French speaking countries are looking other evunue.

Macro, horn Africa visit is nothing more than a cheap propanpanda intended to strength his losing political stand in his homeland. He came for change but offered nothing for his people. The yellow protesters are still going on. Macro is fake man and Somalia has nothing to worry about his visit. The secessionist can always hope and dream that every white man who shows up the continent will have something for them and ready to offer some information hoping to get some favorable return. But they just expecting too much for this Macro, they should stuck with their connected Budwen Arabs for now.

The new EU without the UK is got only two dogs. The Germans and the French.

The Germans will takecare of European relations and the French is tasked to look after International Affairs.

I wouldn't discount the French's new found powers.

Duufaan,

As usual, you couldn't see the forest for the trees in here, mate. And that would still be the case, even if your miserable life was "dependent" on the fact of you telling the forest from the trees.

And by that I mean in these following senses:

Firstly, Mr Macron of France, whatever political difficulties he is getting in the neck, particularly from the "Yellow Vested-thugs" in France, in here he carries a power far greater than any man in the Horn-of-Africa (HoA) states is currently carrying. And that includes the likes of Mr Abby Ahmed. Much less said about what meager and measly power the likes of the AMISOM's bunker's president by the name of Mr Cheeseman has it to his name in comparison to the likes of Mr Macron.

Moreover, France is very influential power within the EU. In fact, France alone makes the whole of the EU's foreign policy towards the Sub-Sahara Africa, which is one of the reason a certain Italian's minister was recently heard complaining aloud in-terms of France actually still "colonizing" to this day in the whole of the Sub-Sahara Africa, and in particularly in the Francophone states, and but this time around doing it through the EU's aid budget and through the EU's foreign policy directives.

Hence, considering that EU actually pays the bulk of the AMISOM stipends, I would say that France can actually be a decisively "determining power" of how those peace-keeping forces in Somalia will do their job their. Or whether they will be actually allowed to stay in Somalia by the EU in post-2021 era.

Secondly, France have already discovered that Mr Cheeseman is essentially a "dependent person" on Mr Abby Ahmed. And it's indeed Mr Ahmed who actually tells him what to do in the larger issue of the horn-of-Africa.

Hence, all France and Mr Macron needs to do is to to say that if Mr Abby Ahmed could ever possibly want something from the EU in any time in the future, then by simple logic they will be expecting him on a "reciprocal basis" to deliver Mr Cheeseman onto the agenda they would prefer him (as Mr Cheeseman) to follow in the period leading up to the change-over of power in 2021.

So as I said it, in that previous post of mine, the EU (or France fro that matter) doesn't actually need to "threatened" Mr Cheeseman along the line of cutting the funding of the AMISOM long before their mandate ends, particularly if he doesn't do what they have asked of him to do.

No, they don't need to do any of that. For all they have to do is to ask Mr Abby Ahmed, that, certain policy interests in which Ethiopia may wish to get it from EU is actually "contingent" of him (as Mr Abby Ahmed) to basically squaring and delivering Mr Cheeseman onto the "prefer policy" option in which the EU wants Mr Cheeseman to do, or they want him to toe the line for it on strict basis.

Thirdly, it's not your usual nightmare about us in Somaliland who are getting something from this ugly reality, as you seems to be "insinuating" in here.

But rather what we are seeing now is the outcome, long predicted, where if you willfully "mortgage" your destiny on the passing agenda of another nation, which is what Mr Cheeseman have done with regards to Mr Abby Ahmed, then that ugly reality of seeing two leaders, such as Mr Macron and Mr Abby Ahmed of Ethiopia "discussing" what the political fate of your country will look like in post-2021 era without you being privy to that meeting is actually the heartache-inducing reality in which we are easily observing in here now.

And that is the ugly and the disastrous political fate in which Somalia is in the middle of it at the moment. Thanks to the regional politics and the "foreign policy's initiatives" of Mr Cheeseman.

Got the point by now, mate?
