I think they were not less educated but certainly there were fewer fake professors, doctors, engineers, caaqils, waxgarads, and generals at that time.

Mr tilamook the situation it's not looking good for Somalis in general some are doing slightly better than the others. But there is no togetherness. Mogadishu qaraxu caadi bu noqday. The scars of the 1991 1992 galkacyo wars still.Divided the city.. you need reconciliation  proper subsubclan level regional degmo level. That is exactly what it is. The titles nowadays don't mean the person is educated or has more understanding of the subject. There are idiots with degrees everywhere.
