  1. Alle-Ubaahne has been unjustly banned. He did not deserve the ban. If Alle-Ubaahne is not fit for this site, then in support for him, I will join him in exile. Wabillaah.
  2. The plan isn't working in Iraq, therefore, it's bound to fail in Somalia.
  3. A really terrible ordeal for Ms Tuweni and others who were renditioned.

There's nothing to counter, because Tariq Ramadan's stance is faulty. His example of Caliph Omar's temporary suspension of a hudud is invalid; there was caliphate in Caliph Omar's era, no so in Tariq Ramadan's era.

Well, you're entitled to your own viewpoints. If your viewpoint is there are no moderate and radical Muslims, then I have to respect your viewpoint even if it's incorrect.

  10. Originally posted by Ameen: do you think that they could stand in front of Allah and say, "no Islamic State and therefore I didnt pay my zakat" Ramadan's apologists would argue your example isn't valid. They would argue salat, zakat or hajj isn't hudud; it's something between a Muslim and Allah. However, I am with you; both zakat and capital punishment are Allah's commandments.

  12. Originally posted by Ms Dhucdhuc & Dheylo: Furthermore..the law mentioned above, does the same apply to Australian Jews who return to Israel to fight for the IDF? Australian Jews aren't Muslims, therefore, your question isn't relevant.
  13. Al-Qaeda or Al-Qaeda groups have many labels coined by the West and puppet secular regimes. The list includes; Wahhabi, Quttubi, Takfiri, Salafi, puritanical, Islamo-fascist, radical, extremist, fundamentalist, iwm. The labels are meant to demonize and dehumanize them.
  14. Originally posted by Ms Dhucdhuc & Dheylo: Perhaps where Tariq Ramadan went wrong was the lack of reproach and criticsm towards these corrupted regimes. Tariq Ramadan is a coward who cannot criticize or call for the removal of those corrupt regimes. Instead, he's appeasing the Europeans by suggesting to suspend Allah's commandments, because suddenly the Europeans found capital punishment to be barbaric and inhuman.

Is there's really such a law? A law against joining jihad? If so, how come Australian troops are involved in the occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan? Isn't that against the interest of Australia?
  17. However, the Khawarij and Safavid weren't Sunni Muslims. Speaking of the Safavid, some argue it's the Safavids who caused the weakening and decline of the Ottoman empire.
  18. Originally posted by Viking: It is said that Caliph Omar suspended hudud temporarily at a time when the economy was in a crisis. However, there was caliphate or Islamic government in Caliph Omar's era. Therefore, the example of Caliph Omar's temporary suspension of a hudud isn't applicable to an era where there's no caliphate or Islamic government. It's one thing for Tariq Ramadan to suggest suspending Allah's commandments, it's another thing to advise the Saudi government to completely rule with human (secular) laws. Personally, I would have preferred Tariq Ramadan to suggest dismantling the Saudi monarchy, but I know he can't.
  19. Originally posted by Northerner: I'm not interested in conspiracy theories. That's how some Muslims were schooled by the West to dismiss it. Is there a problem with some misunderstanding Islam leading them to think its ok to kill innocents? Simple answer is NO. Of course, you will not be satisfied with an elaboration since you will dismiss it as another conspiracy theory.

  22. Originally posted by Northerner: Thats extremism in the west's views. I was talking about extremism in Islam. Like those who preach hatred and view killing innocents as ok. Dont you think we should curtail that? The extremism in Islam you're talking about is also in the west's views or even the West's making. How do we know the West or puppet secular leaders are behind those who preach hatred and view killing innocents as ok? You ask why the West or puppet secular leaders would conspire to do something like that? In order to demonize and dehumanize the freedom fighters, liberators, mujahideens, and alienate Muslims. The West conspired with outright lies to occupy Iraq, causing the death of +600,000 Iraqis, the displacement of millions Iraqis, iwm. Think about it.
  23. Originally posted by Northerner: Define it then tell me whats right with it. Extremism is what the Iraqi, Afghani or Somali freedom fighters (or insurgencies) are doing to liberate their countries from Western or Christian occupation and hegemony. Extremism is fighting secular Muslim leaders or their secular governments to establish an Islamic government or caliphate. Those secular Muslim leaders or their governments serve the interests of non-Muslims, squander the wealth of Muslims, torture and kill Muslims, engage in many actions that are against the teachings of Islam. Extremism is fighting to gain independence. Independence is in an Islamic government, but the West has banned it for Muslims. Even using Democratic means to establish an Islamic government (case example; Algeria) has been aborted by the West. The list is long, but you get the picture. Originally posted by Ms Dhucdhuc & Dheylo: Islam is the middle way. It is a moderation. Do you mean Muslims are the middle Ummah? If so, there's a difference between Islam as the middle way and Muslims as the middle Ummah.
