In a relationship of equals, which I believe a marriage should be, both have a say, neither should walk over the other and compromise is the order of the day. If we really think about it, what is so wrong if she asks? . It all boils down to a choice, which we all have and should be respected for. Kudos to her! There have been numerous incidents of women giving birth to healthy babies, despite the fact that they were told to terminate the pregnacy to save themselves, or avoid having a disabled child or one with an untreatable disease, but chose to carry the baby no matter what the doctors said.
