  1. I am not familiar with the scientific terminology used in article.like "ether".Still dont get what that is.oh well! Since i dont work for NASA or make direct investigations for TV propaganda etc... I cant state my opinion bcos..... i dont have any!! However i blindly believe anything in the Quraan. Although there is no reference in the Quraan that the earth was shaped like a globe, certain descriptions like the process of day and night are in accordance with the modern theory. http://www.islamicfinder.org/articles/article.php?id=226&lang= I wonder though did Neil Armstrong really go to the moon? Because i heard that given the conditons of the moon its impossible for humans to go there according to some critics.(some say the video was made in hollywood) And also heard that it says in the Quraan that none will be able to do so. I am not sure if any of the two above are true so if anyone has any idea let me know.

There is something un-modest about it! That is, as they say, my personalment gut-feeling. True!!looool I was going to say that wallahi but then i thought i was the only one who thought so(you know dirty mind)??.
  3. Is it discouraged for a girl to ride a bike in our culture? I didn't know that. My 32 year old auntie used to ride a bike (ok that was a few years ago) yet my granny never objected. I personally do not like riding on a bike anymore its jus so tiring especially with all the traffick around, you have to keep looking around and pray to finish your journey safely. And of course it wouldn't look right with the way i dress. Plz lets not bring fgm into the topic....ok its wrong but it doesn't render you disabled!! PS.last time the topic was brought up havoc broke loose in SOL, lets take a break for a while.
  4. yes ive watched the c4 documentary. It was sooo fake!! I've been to mogadishu this summer and it didnt look as though there were any terrorists around. Actually it was very peaceful apart from a few killings between people who had disputes with one another. If you dont bother anyone and go about your business none will waste their time on you really. It's like walking in brixton jus avoid dodgy behaviour and dadka isku dar. Apart from the somali guy from AL-itihaad i dont think the others were talking genuinely. Seems like they were inviting american attention to the country. Usually when these people start doing documentaries about a country they are up to something.
  5. Manshallah!! That was a very good article thanks for posting. Hergabka shimbiraha.......makes me laugh!! Have you ever seen shimbir qofaceyso?

Well of coooourse it doesn't!!  Cant you think of any other destination for your so called holiday?? There are plenty of places worldwide with gorvernments, less poverty, and presidents. Oh my goodness!! Lui amigos you are beginning to get a bit annoying now. You seem to be informed ALREADY. Why ask questions that you already have the answers for you tweak?? Now shoooh  intaana laad kuu gu darin.

  8. Mash'Allah Tihs is cool setsir so let me gseus yuor ncik nmae msut be islam aura is taht rhgit?
  9. Loooool! This is strange.I have never seen anything like this. I wonder if the people who are making the most noise now and aren't able to forget or forgive are the one's who actually admired the most e-Nur's work. And are reacting this way cause they feel most betrayed. As the saying goes never love somthing or hate something too much cos someday you might feel the opposite.
  10. Maybe we all have different definitions of love b4 marriage and thats why we are all desagreeing whether its haram. According to our religion there is sin of the eyes(when you check someone and think woow maybe even develop a few fantasies), sin of the tongue(when you speak to someone of the opposite sex in private in a seductive manner like flirting) and physical sin. When we see someone that we consider attractive, we should not cast a second glance(look away) or hold any peculiar thoughts or try to make conversation with them. If you like them fine, you can find out more info about them through friends and family and involve a third party etc.. Now what does falling in love involve from my point of view? The first two things above and may leed to the third if not careful. Since they are Xaraam, falling in love to me before marriage is Xaram. Foxy i dont mean to offend you sis but through reading some of your posts you sound like a misinformed sister. Islam is not ancient and can never be out of date, the world is in a mess today because its teachings are randomly practiced. And no i am not going to say may Allah guide you to the right path, but may Allah guide us all to the right path. Amin.
  11. i agree toohe jr. islam is here to stay they may have succeeded secularising europe from christianity but Insha-Allah that wont happen with muslims. This time downfallkooda ee ka talinayaan.
  12. thanks abraar too bad the nasheeds are in arabic cant understand. But still its all good.
  13. If that's how you want to take it. Mu ku saxaayi ee niyadda ku dhiso!

Reer mullaha and their fore cousins are increasing by the second....... cheers Your last comment isn't funny. Sister i am becoming increasingly concerned 4 your wellbeing if you continue to conduct your affairs in this way..... Falling in love b4 marriage is haraam, in fact we call it love but its infatuation and lust. Having thoughts of sexual nature towards anyone you aren't married to is haraam and a desease of the heart. Now don't tell me when ur in love u dont experience that. Opposites attract theory is a fake produced by the kaffir society, relationships based on similarities work better as the people involved are more compatible and agree in a certain lifestyle.

  18. Seeker sorry i hadn't noticed you started the topic. J'ai vu que tu as ecrit on francais et je pensais que tu viens de djibouti. Originally posted by Warrior of Light: And you forget to acknowledge that somalis are part of the history and integrety of that country mentioned. We have learnt to accept and tolerate each other, these countries have been our home before the disintegration of Somalia. Really? i had no idea, the existence of kenyati somali ppl is new to me.interesting!
  19. Folks, No country in the world is better, then your own country. You may see Kenya your home, imagine if you have a dispute with a native kenyan inside a government building or on the street. The police and witnesses of that country will most likely point their fingers at YOU, "the somali ruining the system of their country, causing trouble". I thought you people after living in a foreign country for some time would have an idea of what discrimination is about.
  20. Hey relax girlfriends!! When i read the title of the topic i thought the same too. So were you lot born in kenya, ethiopia etc..? Have you ever been to somalia? If you were to build your future house where would it be? I would think somalia/somaliland, or not? To be honest i dont consider djibouti as somalia, cos according to the international map they are two separate countries. My djibouti friends agree, whenever i describe someone to them they often ask is she/he djiboutian or somali? Seeker: i understand why home for you is djibouti if thats where you come from. But do not for kenyati-somali and ethiopian-somali ppl or whatever other combination of somali.
  21. A.Duale Sii'arag quote: Mogadishu, the Capital city of Somalia, which is now divided into a number of fragmented portions run by rival militias, is the nerve center of Al-Ittihad. It is the only place in the Somali inhabited regions where demonstrations in support of Osama Bin Laden have been held, after the September 11 terrorist attacks in the US. looollll!! Duale shiraag? Who is this guy anyways?? Yeah let me give him more evidence there is a street called osama street in muqdisho named after bin-laden!! if thats of any use... This article is biased, and thats not all islamic terrorists, argagixiso, al-qaida,islamic militants iyo the likes of them really and truly do not exist ive said this previously. I'm surprised that a somali guy would write such an article, who does he work for OR represent? the BUSH admin? waa yaab! Mans'Allah somalia is now more religious and there are more islamic schools, while you are walking outside doing your shopping you come accross shiekhs sitting outside giving muxadaro with microphones ...people stop in crowds to listen. That does not mean ppl are now becoming terrorists! Brothers and sisters, since various people for whatever reason are these days writing pro-western anti-islamic articles,it would be a good idea to scrutinise the info carefully b4 we believe in it.
  22. http://gallery.somali-info.com/magicgallery/72901063GVQTvm_ph.htm Mansh'ALLAH nice pics that is jus great, ive recently been to somalia haven't seen such landscape.
  23. Thanks for the welcome Muhammad, Hodman glad to know u found it inspirational sis!! Abraar read the nasheed sounds touchin, too bad i cant listen to it cos my speakers are out lately. Is there somewhere on net where i can get an MP3 version of the nasheeds? thanks
  24. quote bashi:Secondly they ride on biochemistry and genetics in order to refute the Darwinists key and critical assertions. They do all this all the while they embrace the diversity of life and its evolving nature. Yeah! I've heard this b4, but wait are you ppl debating whether evolution is the cause of our existence or ....or has been used by Allah in creation??.... Confusing darwin's idea states that inanimate elements in the periodic table joined up to form the cell (basic unit of life)due to atmospheric radiation etc...and then fish, monkey etc..puhhhh!! Now the cell's design subxanallah is very complicated and some scientists argue that the above is not possible to take place. How insulting yet they teach this in schools. Some scientists of distinction in terms of knowledge know that evolution is baseless, but are not able to come out with it public bcos of political pressures. Check harun yahyah's work about evolution could be enlightening. http://www.harunyahya.com/evolution_specialpreface.php
  25. Resistance dude, I agree al-qaida is A FIOCTIONAL name and organisation. It does not exist...........there is no al-qaida. The only reason it was created is so that the kuffar can find an excuse to finish off islam. What about bin-laden? they call themselves the super power, how come they were good enough to capture Saddam but still dont know whats happ? with bin-laden? Simple their agenda is not complete yet and hence they need to pretend that he is out there to the public so that they can continue their evil agenda. Its all an excuse.
