  1. But it just goes to sow the amazing Contradiction and Double standards that america is trying to employ in the UN. essential trying to legitimise a rule of 'one rule for us, and another for the you'

Bush is really embarrassed by not being able to secure a vote to attack Iraq. Even the Americans are starting to think...."hmmm, maybe the world is right, and we are just bullying everyone". LoL. Boy Bush can't see that yet.

  2. ONE thing SADDAM can do that would cause maximum damage BUT A MISSLE SYSTEM NEAR da closest border to ISREAL and LAUNCH A MISSLE dat would hit ISREAL HARD REAL HARD. 4REAL atleast saddam has one or more nuclear missile's. DAT's DA ONly ting he can do for da rest only ALLAH KNOW's.....

The missiles he has now, have a range of 90 miles. And even if he did have missiles that could hit Isreali, it will be kinda useless because the Yahuudis (with the Americans) have deployed two tier of missile defenses around the Yahuudi state. First there is the Yahuudi build arrow missile defense system, and then there is the American patriot missile defense system ringed all over the Yahuudi state. His only best bet is to engage the Americans in urban combat----and that sure guarantees high casualties for the allias.

  3. I dont think its so much that about the number of Nukes, although clearly this play's a part. It is is america willing to take a risk of going to conflict with a nuclear armed regime, that is near some of its close allies namely Japan. I think the answer is not so clear.

    Nah

Nukes are very important in any conflict. They increase both your political and battle laverages over the enemy. I think Japan and S.Korea both have some sort of working missile defense system in place right now.

  4. I dont think the commies are stupid enuff to start a nuclear war with the US. And definetly not with ONLY 4 warheads.

I think the current American military in the region is just too much for 'em to try anything funny.

  5. Organizations like the World Bank wouldnt do anything, or get involved in anything unless there is money to be made. I think the ONLY the reason they want the Palestinian government to reform is, so they can start loaning money and charge huge interest fee for that. They had a similar scheme in Africa where the World Bank, had loaned money to some African nations to build public with huge loaning fee. Making money is their only concern.

  6. So if they're afraid of their own people, their own country and sometimes their own shadows; of course they aren't going to allow protests in some countries they're afraid of what it may trigger

    Hi Cushtic.

I think Suuban has a point. Why blame the Americans, when the actions of some Arab gov't are worse than that of the US. I was reading something on BBC, in where the Bush Adminstration has critized the Egyptian gov't for being too hard on the peace demonstraters in Qa'iro. The bottom line is, both the Arab gov'ts, and the Americans are looking out for their interests. The Arab governments dont want mass demos, that could over throw-them, and the Americans dont want Saddam threatening their country's lifeline----OIL.

  7. Pres, I am a registered user with many changing screen names, and if I recall correctly you have a few screen name aliases as well.

Are you talking about the handles we use, when chatting, or the screen names (like this one) that we use to post something here on the forums?

  8. I never knew this before this morning, but cell phone signals are so easily picked up by other transmitters.

    Hi Cushtic

People were use to able to listen to other people's converstation with scanners here in the US---when they still were using analog technology on cellulars. But everything has changed into digital transmission, and its alot hard to pick signals from digital cell phone.

I think the reason you are able to hear people talking on the baby monitor is, becuase those people are using the same frequency as the baby monitor.

  10. They are starting to jamm phone signals in many place in where i live. The movie theaters, and the library are one of the things they are seriously thinking of making CELL PHONE free zone. Gas stations already jamm phones in gas pumps because of safety issues.

  11. I admit I used the chat quite a few times how many aliases I cannot admit

I think they should have something like, only registered members with screen names could chat and you have to become a member to chat.

I think it beats having a mod in the chat rooms all the time, and people (in my humble view smile.gif ) would behave.

  12. DO U THINK THIS RULE DISERIMINATES AGAINST OVERWEIGH PEOPLE WHO WANT TO TRAVEL BY PLANE?OR DO U THINK THAT THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IS NEEDED TO HELP PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD TO SIT IN A HALF-A SEAT NEXT TO THEIR HEAVIR SEATMATE??

I wouldnt' say its discrimination, its about overweight people having to choose between sitting in a small crampy seat, or paying little extra and sitting comfortably.

The airliners aren't forcing anyone to pay the extra money, for the extra seat----if you take two seats, its only fair that you pay for it.
