  1. FOR YOUR ENDULGMENT.

New DNA studies suggest that all humans descended from a single African ancestor who lived some 60,000 years ago. To uncover the paths that lead from him to every living human, the National Geographic Society launched the Genographic Project at its Washington, D.C., headquarters April 13.

The project is a five-year endeavor undertaken as a partnership between IBM and National Geographic. It will combine population genetics and molecular biology to trace the migration of humans from the time we first left Africa, 50,000 to 60,000 years ago, to the places where we live today.

Ten research centers around the world will receive funding from the Waitt Family Foundation to collect and analyze blood samples from indigenous populations (such as aboriginal groups), many in remote areas. The Genographic Project hopes to collect more than a hundred thousand DNA samples to create the largest gene bank in the world. Members of the public are also being invited to participate.

"Our DNA tells a fascinating story of the human journey: how we are all related and how our ancestors got to where we are today," said American geneticist and anthropologist Spencer Wells, the project leader. "This project will show us some of the routes early humans followed to populate the globe and paint a picture of the genetic tapestry that connects us all."

Wells, a National Geographic explorer-in-residence, feels a certain sense of urgency. Wars, environmental disasters, and increasing globalization are causing more people to move, and the world is gradually becoming less culturally and genetically diverse.

    World Book: Human Races

"We need to take a genetic snapshot of who we are as a species before the geographic and cultural context are lost in the melting pot," Wells said. He cites language as a measure of the disappearance of cultures. "There are around 6,000 languages spoken in the world today, and by the end of the century, between half and 90 percent of those are going to be gone."

IBM, as the technology partner of the project, will participate in collecting the data, storing it, and analyzing it.

"We have some indications, from prior studies about the migration of people, how the diversity and similarity that we see in peoples of the world might have happened in the last 50,000 to 10,000 years," said Ajay Royyuru, a senior manager of IBM's Computational Biology Center. "But what is missing is the detail, the ability for everyone on the planet to be able to see, understand, exactly how they got to be where they are."

    Tracking Genetic Markers

Each human parent contributes half of a child's DNA, which combines with the other parent's DNA to form a new genetic combination. This so-called recombination gives each of us a unique set of attributes: hair, eye, and skin color; athleticism or lack thereof; susceptibility to certain diseases; and so on.

However, the chunk of DNA known as the y chromosome, which only males possess, is passed from father to son without recombining. The y chromosome, therefore, remains basically unchanged through generations, except for random mutations. Similarly, women pass mitochondrial DNA, which also does not recombine, on to both their sons and daughters.

Random mutations to DNA, which happen naturally and are usually harmless, are called markers. Once a marker has been identified, geneticists can go back in time and trace it to the point at which it first occurred. This way, they are able to determine when and where a new lineage began.

If they can be traced to a particular region, these lineages can be used to track prehistoric migration patterns. However, indigenous identities are being lost as more and more people move from their ancestral villages.

"And when they do [leave], their kids [absorb] the dominant culture in that [new] city and lose touch with the old ways," Wells said. "So what we lose is the context in which their genetic diversity arose. The genes are still going to be there, but without the geographical context, we can't infer anything historical from the genetic data."

Battur Tumer, a descendant of Genghis Khan and one of the participants at the project launch today in Washington, D.C., exemplifies the importance of finding indigenous populations in their ancestral lands.

Wells's team collected y chromosome data in a region of Asia once ruled by the 13th-century Mongolian warrior. Their analysis identified a marker that originated about a thousand years ago and was carried by about 8 percent of the men living in the region. The marker was found in only one population outside of Asia—the Hazaras tribe in Pakistan. The Hazaras have a long oral tradition that says they're Khan's direct descendants.

Tying the marker to a geographic location and looking at the region's history—Genghis Khan's armies often raped the women of vanquished villages, and his descendants later expanded the empire—suggests that today roughly 16 million men carry a genetic mutation that probably originated with Khan's great-great-grandfather.

The spread of that particular mutation was the result of a cultural artifact—military success combined with a culture in which men could have many wives and concubines—but it exemplifies much of the impetus of the Genographic Project.

"The shared marker was identified because a focused effort was made to sample specific populations, going after populations like the Hazara, who have this oral history and want to test it to see if it's true," Wells said.

"In addition, the people in the region had lived there for centuries, and enough samples were collected to do an analysis. The indigenous groups participated because the wanted their stories told."

    Public Participation

The Genographic Project is designed to tell everyone's story, though, not just the stories of indigenous cultures. What is unique about this project is the extent to which it relies on public participation.

"Most research happens through the hands of researchers, and the public at large gets to hear about it and learn about it on occasion, but there isn't a way for them to participate. This project is actually inviting individuals all over the world to be sort of associate researchers," Royyuru said. "Success is actually going to be determined by how many and how diverse the people are that participate, which is a fascinating thing."

The DNA data being collected places a person in a "haplogroup"—a lineage or branch on the human family tree that is defined by a set of genetic markers. Haplogroup R, for instance, is identified by a y chromosome mutation known as M173. Roughly 70 percent of English men have this lineage, 95 percent of Spanish men, and 95 percent of Irish men.

"The reason a lot of western Europeans have it is because it defines an expansion in the end of the last ice age as people moved north out of Iberia [ancient Spain]," Wells said. "The cool thing is that the penultimate marker—if you go back one step from M173—is M45, which arose in Central Asia, so it tells you about this journey your ancestors took through the steppes of Central Asia hunting mammoths and so on. Before that they were down in the Middle East."

The Middle Eastern marker, M89, represents a wave of migration out of Africa that occurred around 45,000 years ago. The Haplogroup R lineage ultimately traces all the way back to marker M168.

"Every non-African has M168, which appeared in eastern Africa around 60,000 years ago," Wells said.

"Some geographies have been better studied than others," Royyuru said. "In Europe we have a much better understanding of the genotypic diversity that exists and how that population happens to be so diverse—who came from where at what point in time. That is not the case with a large majority of Asia and Africa. There is certainly some understanding of the possible waves of migration and the routes that people might have traveled to populate North and South America, but even those are not definitive."

Should you want to get an idea of your own origins, National Geographic is selling kits that allow an individual to take a cheek swab, send it to a laboratory in Arizona, and then track the information on the Genographic Project Web site.

The kits will sell for U.S. $99.95 plus shipping and handling. The net proceeds from sales of the kits will fund additional research and the Legacy Project, which will aid indigenous cultures.

    Legacy and Controversy

"The three main pillars of the project are field research, public participation and communication, and the Legacy Project," Wells said. "We see this as a collaborative effort with the indigenous populations."

The Legacy Project will provide indigenous groups participating in the Genographic Project with direct help through development projects, education, and public-awareness campaigns aimed at preserving traditional cultures.

The idea of creating the world's largest DNA database and collecting blood samples from indigenous groups could raise objections.

Genographic was specifically designed to dispel many of these concerns. The kits are designed so that there's no way to tie a kit's identification number to a specific individual.

Wells emphasizes the public nature of the project.

"We want this to be a very open project. We want to tell the public what it is we're doing, the goals, the methods, and we want to explain the results," Wells said. "We're not doing anything medically relevant, not patenting anything," he added.

"We see this as information that's part of the [common heritage] of our species. It's going to be released into the public domain, and people can go back and reanalyze it and query it and learn about it. We're hoping to create a virtual museum of human history."

  4. Buckhead couple had chilling encounter with Nichols

    By SAEED AHMED

    The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

    Published on: 03/31/05

Shelton Warren found it odd that his girlfriend of several years was knocking at their apartment door instead of just letting herself in.

    He soon found out why.

Standing in the doorway, holding a gun to his girlfriend's side, was the man whose face had flashed on Warren's television screen moments earlier: Brian Nichols.

"He said, 'Don't try anything,' " Warren's girlfriend calmly said.

    But Warren did.

The violent encounter that followed left Warren with a concussion and too shaken to talk about the incident until now.

Fighting back, Warren believes, may have saved him and his girlfriend from becoming two more victims of what police say was a murderous rampage that had claimed three lives before Nichols appeared at their doorway. Before the night was over, a fourth person would die.

Of all the people who were directly exposed to Nichols during the March 11 shooting spree — the attorneys at the Fulton County Courthouse, the carjack victims and the woman credited with his eventual capture — Warren and his girlfriend have been the most reluctant to talk about their brush with him.

Warren, 27, is still feeling the aftereffects of the concussion he received in his fight with the intruder: dizziness, occasional memory loss, disorientation.

Only last week did he return to his job as a customer service representative for a computer company.

His girlfriend, Iman Adan, 23, startles easily and is afraid to leave their apartment alone. She can't bring herself to talk about that night.

Neither would agree to be photographed for this story, saying they don't want to be in the public eye. Warren and his attorney appeared briefly on a CNN morning show March 19, but since then Warren has kept a low profile.

"We just want to be left alone," he said.

Warren agreed to speak to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution to counter the Atlanta Police Department's contention that neither he nor Adan positively identified Nichols as their attacker when they were shown a photo of him that night.

"I told them a couple of times this was their man," Warren said. "I told them he's still out there. I guess it was kind of hard for them to believe it."

The police say they thoroughly searched in and around the sprawling apartment complex on Lenox Road in Buckhead and stand by their report that said the couple couldn't confirm that the attacker was Nichols.

    Stranger at the door

The encounter occurred shortly after 10 p.m. — more than 12 hours into the manhunt for Nichols, a defendant in a rape trial who authorities said overpowered a sheriff's deputy at the Fulton County Courthouse and went on a shooting spree, killing a judge, a court reporter and another deputy in a matter of minutes.

Warren was in his apartment at the Summit at Lenox, watching TV, transfixed along with the rest of metro Atlanta by developing news of the massive search for the gunman. The reports said police believed Nichols was on the run in a green Honda Accord.

"I was thinking, he's probably right in the [metro] area, he's sticking close to places he knows," Warren said. "But there was no way he was still in that Honda."

Then came the knock at the door.

    "It's me," his girlfriend said.

Warren peered through the peephole and saw Adan standing there, next to someone else.

Still unsure of what was going on, Warren opened the door.

"Who are you?" Warren asked the stranger.

"He said, 'Don't try anything,' " Adan replied.

That's when Warren noticed a black handgun pressed against Adan's side.

"I looked back up at him and I realized who he was," he said.

    Woman followed

Minutes earlier, Adan had left the fitness center inside the apartment complex. As she walked the three blocks home, she noticed she was being followed by a tall man in a gray jogging suit. It was a Friday night and there were plenty of people outside, so she didn't think much of it.

She punched in the door code to her building and entered. The man stuck his right foot in to catch the door from closing.

By the time Adan reached the stairs, he had caught up to her.

"Do you know who I am?" she recalled him asking. "I'm Brian Nichols, the one everyone's looking for."

Adan tried not to let her fear show. Trying to run seemed foolish.

He asked if she lived with anyone else. Yes, she said, with another roommate. A girlfriend.

Adan believed that if she told Nichols about her boyfriend waiting in the apartment, he would take her someplace else.

They climbed the three flights of stairs in silence.

    Adan knocked.

    A hallway fight

If Nichols was surprised to see a man answer the door, his eyes didn't show it, Warren said. He looked calm and expressionless.

"He wants to come in," Adan told her boyfriend.

Warren then did something he still can't explain.

As the two stepped through the doorway, Warren pushed his girlfriend into the apartment and shoved the man as hard as he could, sending him staggering from the door. The action propelled Warren into the hall.

"The only thing on my mind was, don't let this person in your house,' " he said. "I had no other thought, no other feeling."

The gunman steadied himself and rushed toward the door.

    "Lock the door," Warren cried.

He heard the lock click at the same time he felt the butt of the handgun hit his forehead.

The two men struggled in the narrow hallway — both former athletes, similarly built.

The confrontation lasted no more than a few seconds, Warren recalled.

His attacker struck him on the head again.

Don't let this person point his gun at me. Don't let him shoot me, Warren kept thinking.

He didn't. He glared, then turned and ran.

    Warren reached for the door.

"Keep it locked," he cried to a hysterical Adan. His face bloody from the pistol-whipping, Warren chased after the gunman. But he was gone.

Warren borrowed a neighbor's cellphone and called police. I've just been attacked by the guy you're looking for, he said.

    It was 10:18 p.m.

The first officers arrived four minutes later, followed soon after by hordes of law enforcement agents from the Atlanta Police Department, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the FBI, the U.S. marshals.

But when police showed Warren and Adan a picture of Nichols, both "believed it was the suspect but could not confirm it," Atlanta police Officer W.T. Crossen wrote in his report.

Warren disputes that. He said he told police the man was Nichols.

"I told them that me and this person just got into it," Warren said. He said he urged them to pursue the man, saying, "He's got to be still out here. Go through these buildings, search the area."

Another neighbor, Maria Bess, who saw a stranger holding a gun to Adan and also called 911, said she identified the man as Nichols as well.

"I didn't know who Nichols was at the time. I hadn't been watching TV," said Bess, 20. "But when they showed me his picture, I told them that was him."

Atlanta police spokesman Sgt. John Quigley said officers "thoroughly investigated" the area for more than three hours — until 1:42 a.m. Authorities detained two people, including one in a green Honda, and took them to the couple for identification, Quigley said.

"We couldn't find Nichols in the area, and therefore we didn't know, based on what they said, whether there had been a definite sighting," the police spokesman said.

Quigley could not clear up the discrepancy between the witness accounts and Crossen's report. "The investigation is ongoing, but the report stands as it is, at this point," he said.

The next morning, the body of federal customs agent David Wilhelm, 40, was found in a house he was building on Canter Road — just a block away from the apartment where Warren and Adan live. Police believe Nichols shot him to death.

"The next day, with the serious nature of the call very close by, it made it seem more obvious that maybe the two incidents were connected," Quigley said.

Police say Nichols took Wilhelm's truck and drove it to Gwinnett County to the apartment of Ashley Smith, accosting her about 2 a.m. Saturday the same way Adan was approached.

Nichols surprised Smith outside her apartment and, holding her at gunpoint, forced his way in and held her captive until about 9:30 a.m., when he allowed her to leave, authorities say.

Then, just before noon, as heavily armed officers surrounded the Duluth apartment complex in response to Smith's 911 call, Nichols waved a white T-shirt and peacefully surrendered.

    'I'm thankful I lived'

Warren has returned to work but is still feeling weak and is nursing a sprained right hand.

Because he doesn't have medical insurance, he is hoping for help from the county or the state's victim assistance program, said his lawyer, Nikki Bonner.

"I'm not stressing over any of that, though," Warren said. "I'm just grateful to be alive, you know. I'm thankful I lived to see another day."

NEWARK, N.J. - A potential HIV (news - web sites)/AIDS (news - web sites) vaccine developed by Merck & Co. that uses synthetic genes to prepare cells to fight the deadly virus is moving into the second stage of testing.

An approved vaccine would be about a decade away if the trial and a third study are successful, said officials with the international coalition that is collaborating on the work.

"It is the most promising candidate that we've seen so far," said Sarah B. Alexander, associate director of the coalition, known as the HIV Vaccine Trials Network, or HVTN. She cautioned, however, "something better could come along tomorrow."

Volunteers began enrolling last month for the Phase II study, which will eventually give the potential vaccine's three doses to 1,500 people in North and South America, the Caribbean and Australia, the network and Whitehouse Station-based drug maker announced Monday.

The study is using male and female volunteers aged 18 to 45 of diverse racial groups who are at high risk for contracting HIV. Participants will receive counseling about how to reduce their risk of HIV infection, Alexander said. from the market amid safety concerns, has traded in a 52-week range of $25.60 to $49.33.

About a dozen companies and organizations worldwide are attempting to develop an AIDS vaccine. Of the 10 associated with HVTN, the Merck candidate is the first to reach Phase II testing, Alexander said.

Of the two that reached Phase III, the final stage before certification is sought, one was deemed unsuccessful in 2000, and another, led by the U.S. Department of Defense (news - web sites), is enrolling volunteers, she said.

The Merck candidate — the MRKAd5 HIV-1 gag/pol/nef, or trivalent, vaccine — is designed to persuade the defenders of each cell, called "killer T cells," to attack HIV when the virus enters the cell. Other vaccines generate an antibody response.

The potential vaccine uses the virus of a common cold, modified so it cannot reproduce or cause people to catch a cold, to transport three synthetically produced HIV genes to the cells.

"We give the body enough of the virus so it can recognize it and create an immune response," but not enough to infect a person, Alexander said.

The Phase I study of the possible vaccine, involving about 1,000 people, "generated strong and durable cellular immune responses against HIV," Merck spokeswoman Janet Skidmore said.

Seattle-based HVTN is funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (news - web sites) of the National Institutes of Health (news - web sites), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (news - web sites), and comprises more than 25 research institutions worldwide.

In trading Monday afternoon, Merck shares fell 28 cents, or 0.9 percent, to $30.08 on the New York Stock Exchange (news - web sites). The stock, which has fallen sharply since Merck withdrew its Vioxx drug

HAARP likely not Primary Ionospheric array in Alaska

At 3.5 Billion Watts HAARP may be second to a secret and hidden FIPA array near Poker Flat

    by Guy Cramer

In reviewing information disclosed through the Freedom Of Information Act concerning the initial concepts and bidding on HAARP (High-frequency Active Auroral Research Project), I came across relevant information that HAARP was not the best choice for the Project, this was to be the FIPA (Frequency-Independent Phased-array Antenna) FIPA patent# 5,274,390

The executive summary of HAARP indicates the best place for the Array was Poker Flat and not Gakona, Clear AFB was the optional choice for the HAARP location and has the power facility on site to supply a heater array of these proportions. Prime power at Clear Air Force Station is obtained from the station's coal-fired power plant, which is capable of producing 22.5 megawatts of power. (Clear AFB is a large DOD area located west of HIPAS [HIgh Power Auroral Stimulation], and is almost an equal distance from HIPAS as HAARP is to HIPAS) HAARP is run by U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory's Space Vehicles Directorate while Clear AFS is also under U.S. Air Force Space Command.

HAARP/HIPAS work in conjunction, however two arrays are not enough to steer the signal. The HAARP web site in 2001 discussed successful moon bounce experiments (done since the 1960's by HAM radio operators) see: HAARP array may use Moon as a reflector to reach distant targets on Earth to create Nuclear-Sized Explosions Without Radiation!. In order to target the moon you need a steerable array and three arrays minimum are required.

For those that think the HAARP array network is just a research program, think again: Look at this short demonstration of of what 1000 watts of microwave energy can produce from a grape cut in half (Movie 2). Multiply this effect by 3 million times as HAARP is 3 gigawatts of power (3 billion watts) now you just need a grape large enough for the array to feed from; see video of Large Artificial Electric Flame (LAEF) this sample pales to the (MAEF & EAEF) massive and extreme versions. Note to adversaries of the United States and recent saber rattling; you may not want to provoke this Kodiak Bear with a stick.

HAARP array is second choice to FIPA array, The HAARP site near Gakona was initially chosen to house the Imaging Riometer for HAARP, now Poker Flat is operating the proposed HAARP Imaging Riometer and was the initial choice for the HAARP location, and you require three ELF/VLF arrays to steer the signal for a moon bounce! This information means there is at least one hidden ELF/VLF array in the southern area of Alaska, it is likely in Poker Flat region and is likely the FIPA array.

Here are the key locations in Alaska as they relate with HAARP, in order for targeting HAARP other arrays must be used to steer the signal, this is why HIPAS is in the region, with the present set up if HLMS, Clear AFS and Poker Flat were also positioned with ELF/VLF arrays then HAARP is capable of a 360 degree steerable target area.

    Poker Flat

    Poker Flat 2

The newly installed Missile Defense System just installed at Fort Greely is not there to protect North America from ballistic missiles but to protect the HAARP network of Arrays in Alaska as the arrays are the first line of defense, provide enough power to the atmosphere and the resulting drag and EM Pulse should fry the electronics of any missile, one exception are new missiles designed by the Russians that may be able to fly under HAARP’s umbrella, Fort Greely is like a phalanx system on a ship, anything that gets to close is taken out by this system.

How do you hide 20+ acre facilities around Alaska? Quite easy with special camouflage techniques:

    This first photo shows HAARP

"The above illustrations demonstrate the capability to effectively conceal large land areas containing hardware and buildings. In a similar initiative comprising the the most comprehensive infrastructure concealment program since World War II, the design team of Dr. Resnick, Lt. Col. Timothy R. O'Neill, PhD (U.S. Army, Ret.) and Mr. Guy Cramer have produced remarkable results. Using specially designed "Fractal Based" camouflage patterns in projects related to concealment of critical infrastructure under the auspices of the US Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management, the team continues to achieve desired objectives such as those shown below."

    Conclusion:

Given my correspondence in 2001 with both the principal investigator for the office of naval research on initial array testing in Alaska and my current partnership with Dr. Joseph Resnick (one patent used with HAARP) and noted HAARP authority with the DOD, I can only come to one conclusion that FIPA exists somewhere in Alaska, likely close to the protection of the Fort Greely site.

    Dance With the Devil Lyrics

    [Verse 1]

I once knew a nigga whose real name was William

his primary concern, was making a million

being the illest hustler, that the world ever seen

he used to f**k moviestars and sniff coke in his dreams

a corrupted young mind, at the age of thirteen

nigga never had a father and his mom was a feen

she put the pipe down, but forever yeah she was sober

her sons heart simultaneously grew colder

he started hanging out selling bags in the projects

checking the young chicks, looking for hit and run prospects

he was fascinated by material objects

but he understood money never bought respect

he build a reputation cuz he could hustle and steal

but got locked once it didn't hessitate to squeal

so criminals he chilled with didn't think he was real

you see me and niggaz like this have never been equal

I dont project my insurecurity's at other people

he feeded for props like addicts with pipes and needles

so he felt he had to proof to everyone he was evil

a fever minded young man with infinite potetial

the product of a ghetto ... capatalistic mental

coincidentally dropped out of school to sell weed

dancing with the devil, smoked until his eyes would bleed

but he was sick of selling trees and gave in to his greed

    [Hook]

Everyone trying to be trife never face the consequences

you propably only did a month for minor offences

ask a nigga doing life if he had another chance

but then again there's always the wicked at new and advanced

dance forever with the devil on a code cell block

but thats what happens when you rape, murder and sell rock

devils used to be gods, angels that fell from the top

there's no diversity because we're burning in the melting pot

    [Verse 2]

So Billy started robbing niggaz, anything he could do

he'd get his respect back, in the eyes of his crew

starting fights over little shit, up on the block

stepped up to selling mothers and brothers the crack rock

working overtime for making money for the crack spot

hit the jackpot and wanted to move up to cocaine

for filling the scarface fantasy stuck in his brain

tired of the block niggaz treating him the same

he wanted to be major like the cut throats and the thugs

but when he tried to step to 'em, niggaz showed him no love

they told him any motherf**king coward can sell drugs

any ***** nigga with a gun, can bust slugs

any nigga with a red shirt can front like a blood

even Puffy smoked the motherf**ker up in a club

but only a real thug can stab someone till they die

standing in front of them, starring straight into their eyes

Billy realized that these men were well guarded

and they wanted to test him, before business started

suggested raping a ***** to proof he was cold hearted

so now he had a choice between going back to his life

or making money with made men, up in the cife

his dreams about cars and ice, made him agree

a hardcore nigga is all he ever wanted to be

and so he met them friday night at a quarter to three

    [Hook]

    [Verse 3]

They drove around the projects slow while it was raining

smoking blunts, drinking and joking for entertainment

untill they saw a woman on the street walking alone

three in the morning, coming back from work, on her way home

and so they quietly got out the car and followed her

walking through the projects, the darkness swallowed her

they wrapped her shirt around her head and knocked her onto the floor

this is it kid now you got your chance to be raw

so Billy oaked her up and grapped the chick by the hair

and dragged her into a lobby that had nobody there

she struggled hard but they forced her to go up the stairs

they got to the roof and then held her down on the ground

screaming shut the f**k up and stop moving around

the shirt covered her face, but she screamed the clouts

so Billy stomped on the *****, until he broken her jaw

the dirty *******s knew exactly what they were doing

they kicked her until they cracked her ribs and she stopped moving

blood leaking through the corpse, she cried silently

and then they all proceeded to rape her violently

Billy was meant to go first, but he ????? turn

ripping her up, and choking her until her throat burned

a broken jaw mumbled for god but they weren't concerned

when they were done and she was lying bloody, broken and broos

one of them niggaz pulled out a brand new twenty-two

they told him that she was a witness of what she'd gone through

and if he killed her he was guaranteed a spot in the crew

he thought about it for a minute, she was practicly dead

and so he leaned over and put the gun right to her head

(Sample from 'Survival of the Fittest' by Mobb Deep)

    I'm falling and I can't turn back

    I'm falling and I can't turn back

    [Verse 4]

Right before he pulled the trigger, and ended her life

he thought about the cold pain with the platinum and ice

and he felt strong standing along with his new brothers

cocked the gat to her head, and pulled back the shirt cover

but what he saw made him start the cringine studder

cuz he was starring into the eyes of his own mother

she looked back at him and cried, cuz he had forsaken her

she cried more painfully, than when they were raping her

his whole world stopped, he couldn't even contiplate

his corruption had succesfully changed his fate

and he remembered how his mom used to come home late

working hard for nothing, cuz now what was he worth

he turned away from the woman that had once given him birth

and crying out to the sky cuz he was lonely and scared

but only the devil responded, cuz god wasn't there

and right then he knew what it was to be empty and cold

and so he jumped off the roof and died with no soul

they say death take you to a better place but I doubt it

after that they killed his mother, and never spoke about it

and listen cuz the story that I'm telling is true

cuz I was there with Billy Jacobs and I raped his mom to

and now the devil follows me everywhere that I go

infact I'm sure he's standing among one of you at my shows

and every street cypher listening to little thugs flowe

he could be standing right next to you, and you wouldn't know

the devil grows inside the hearts of the selvish and wicked

white, brown, yellow and black colored is not restricted

you have a self destructive destiny when your inflicted

and you'll be one of gods children and fell from the top

there's no diversity because we're burning in the melting pot

so when the devil wants to dance with you, you better say never

because the dance with the devil might last you forever

"I'll hit ur chest so hard ur shoulders'll touch"

Look at the Victorian tapestry in back of me

    [Canibus]

    Yo!

    Check it, Yo!

I'm faster than leopards running across the vast desert

in twenty-two yards per second to catch me to daily delicatessen

It takes me thirty minutes to eat'em, forty minutes to digest'em,

and fifty minutes for it to pass through my intestines

So ask yourself a question?(What question?)

    Can the Canibus rhyme?

Is a ****in porcupine half swine?

No time to make up your mind, you wanna run or die?

Clip you while you're running by, trip you up from behind

    My rhymes, confuse niggas

    Like somebody try to gang-bang

Wearin' a blue shirt and red pants, throwin' up signs with there left hand

Standin' out on the corner of wetlands with a confederate flag for a headband

God dam eggplants, niggas getting' me vexed man

Cause I'm surrounded by garbage like Fred Sav

And I can't seem to get away from it

I dreamed that I stabbed leviathan through the stomach, and ate from it

In my past life I slayed hundreds, and in the life before that

I played trumpets, to warn you that I was comin'

There's one billion ways to die, and I already tried

nine-hundred million nine hundred and ninety nine

When I aim and fire my rhymes, like a hundred cannon balls flying

Striking you one at a time, in a parallel line

While the art of emceeing is steady dieing

Canibus and Rakim Allah is still in there prime!

    --

This a freestyle he did ob the moring show

    [Canibus]

    Yo, I'm a nuclear warhead

Right now you're provokin my detonation

Never test me without proper authorization

My lack of patience has cause me to get mad

And explode right in front of your face like a airbag

Your rhyme is fake, your brain is child's play to manipulate

I create lyrics too intricate to imitate

    Movin at a velocity

That'll break your stop-watch if you're clockin me

My concrete jungle is like Jumanji

But iller than what you seen in the cinema

A five foot eight nigga wit more horsepower than twelve cylinders

My brain consists of twin pentium chips

That's double the clock speeds of a 5-86

And nuttin about my physical matrix is basic

I kick flavor beyond what your tongue is capable of tastin

You'll be so surprised you won't believe your own eyes

It's like explainin color to a man that was born blind

One of a kind, I got divine chromosomes in me

My sperm'll scramble the eggs in a women's ovaries

Cuz I'm as original as it gets

And I can't respect, niggas that copy like double-decks

I get vexed, when crab punks bite my style

Cuz I'm sellin a thousand records per day, per square mile

Breakin the laws of phsyics, wit metaphors and lyrics

Speakin to dead poets by conjuring up they spirits

    From Shakespeare to Edgar Allen

Yo, the whole Dead Poets Society couldn't mess around wit the talent

    Much less understand it

I make type-rope walkers in the circus

lose they balance when I kick the planet

Who in the hell wanna battle, the ill mathematical?

My mother****in' brain is IBM compatible

Techniques are foreign, far from being borin

My style is hard like cancer without McCorman

I run threw your crew like the flu when I bomb it

My styles like AIDS cause don't nobody want it

    Niggas frontin' like they hard

But I'm a Street Fighter like Jean Claude

And I'll split your shit, god

    Right down the middle

    Play you like a riddle

I got a fetish for titties, I nibble on the nipple

Then trespass on your property like Monopoly

Subdue your crew and beat that *** properly

Welcome to the Desert Storm annual extravaganza

Clue rolls deeper than the cart-rides on Bonanza

I feed off weed, natural energy sources

Lyrics with more power than the horses they put in Porsches

Can't be tested or F'ed wit, I'm too reckless

I chop off heads just to take the necklace

    The type of Canibus (/cannabis) that's side-effectless

The type of shit that get the Question-mark Man arrested

    Take evasive action

    Flip like reciprocal fractions

Turn the heat up on MCs to watch their meat blacken

You try get fly, you get electrified and fried

**** around and get your mouth slapped dry

You could battle me and possibly survive

But you could never see me and walk away without a black eye

Word up hop, CLUEminat call the cops

And if the cops ain't tryin' to see me, then the cops call SWAT

Scar your whole squad with bullet scars

    No holds barred

I'll even hassle the National Guard

Ready or not like the Fugees

    Crews be steppin' to me

But I wipe em' all out like booty

I'm so unruly, the police don't say nothin' to me

It don't matter whether they on or off duty

I murder you brutally when I spit at you

    My actions are unforgivable

Look at what CLUEminati did to you

The maximum lyrical, nigga you minimal

There's a big hole in the desert, I told the men in blue to dig for you

    [Canibus]

    Canibus brings the sickest drama,

fierce enough to pierce the thickest armor

I smack *****es who try to suck dick through a condom

Playing with the mic is something I wont do

my only concern when I approach you, is to roast you

I smoke you and whoever you standing close to

and make every man in your crew deny that he knows you

    defeating, niggas like Segal Steven,

putting Emcees in, positions to prevent 'em from breathing

I'll make you question any and everything you've ever believed in

by peeping your deepest secrets like psychic readers,

    What's the matter with ya'll, I splatter ya'll

against the mutha ****in wall with these raw lyrics I catapult

None of ya'll got the balls big enough to battle,

I go On & On like Erika Badu

a hundred times nicer than the best there is

twice as African as KRS is, who wanna test this

**** yall you dont impress me and no one can test me

An Emcee so ill, I got AIDS scared to catch me

All that shit you poppin will stop, when I put you in a headlock,

and apply pressure until I crush your mutha ****in noggin

I grab mics and push niggas to the left

so fast their hearts end up on the right side of their chests

My hypothesis, is that nobody can see this

lyrical genius, I got it sown like a seamstress

But if you want to battle, I'm down,

If you got nine lives, I'll take eight of them off your hands right now

Step up and get your neck cut from ear to ear

If you survive, then you can cover your scar with a beard

I'm the illest from Queens to the new Jerusalem briddicks

anyone who aint feeling my shidick can suck my didick

You need to quit it, if you aint spitten

more than 50 bars per minute cause you aint in lyrical fitness

kickin' boring raps with metaphors that's wack

all of ya'll mutha *****s need NordicTrack

to get ya weight up, ****in with Canibus you get ate up

get beat down and sprayed up, just for bringing my name up

been rockin longer than niggas twice my age

back in the days before Bob Marley was rockin a fade

before Honest Abe signed the paper that freed slaves

before Neanderthals was drawing on walls in caves

I existed, in the garden of Eden gettin lifted

stickin dick to Eve before she was Adams mistress

Before Christ created Christmas, I been in lyrical fitness

The Canibus is spitten till' he's spitless

50 bars of total sickness, you wont forget this

I'm puttin' every wack Emcee alive on my shit list

    verbally vicious, tele-connectically gifted

took you a minute, to exhibit that I'm sick wit it

Now you tell me who you think is damaging shit

    going once, going twice

Sold to that nigga name Canibus

Me and Mr.Cheeks, A-Plus, and Funk Doctor

hopping out the Hue helicopter to suey chop ya

    -

For all you niggaz sayin that my shit is sick, just imagine

the ninety percent of my brain that I ain't even used yet

Take a deep breath, quick, suck in as much air

as my lungs will permit -- then I start to kick that shit

I been gettin busy before the planets started to turn

Before the bees, the birds, and Adam and Eve occured

Prior to all creation, in other words

When the female egg will merge with the man's sperm

I stand firm, my words burn through your exterior

The eat away at your materia, I'm superior

While you only pretend to be, I can double my density

from three-sixty degrees to seven-twenty instantly

Six, multiplied by five by four by three by two

then one, go head and calculate the sum

The time has cometh, I was summoned to punish

Mother******s with mouths to run it ? with rubbish

When I come through, niggaz stand stiller than statues

Cause if I have to, I'll battle your whole rap crew

Then I'll attack you with words that's absurd

and rip your ****in skin off just to get on your nerves

Lost @ C from the 2000 B.C. joint, in my opinion, one of the most highly sleep on joints.

    Yo, yo, yo

Now when you see that big *** 'C', you know I'm comin through

And when you know I'm comin through, you know what I'ma do

I never said that battlin me, would be impossible

    I just think it's highly mother****in improbable

You talkin to a nigga that can split molecules

to subatomic particles, strong enough to stop a bull

Body-slam two oxes and drop a mule

Urinatin rocket fuel, freestylin over gospel tunes

Rhymes by the thousands, rhymes for hours

I could kick a rhyme longer than your whole album

The kickboxer, beatin the shit out niggaz proper

I beat 'em till they holla, beat 'em til the cops come

Beatin niggaz til they have seizures, beat 'em til they start screamin

like fax machines when they start receivin

Beat 'em til my own hands start bleedin

Beat 'em til they lungs stop breathin and they heart stop beatin

    From 12 A.M. to 12 P.M. in the evenin

With three 15 minute breaks in between 'em

Good Jesus, that's a real West Indian beatin

That's what you get for ****in with this lyrical demon

My bloodstream's been, contaminated for eons

I got cast out of heaven for treason

Got cast out of the Garden of Eden

for lettin the reptilian beast in

Got locked up for a DUI and speedin

A whole legion of half-decent emcees'll get released when

they spit a hundred bars for they freedom

See I'm much too nice to compete wit

Too nice to flow over beats wit, too nice to hold a M-I-C wit

Off some diesel Hercules shit, I cold flip

and start to punch trees til they leafless

Inhale with two real deep breaths, hold my breath

til the whole planet suffocates and then release it...

    --

Yo check it *beat comes in*

I destroy your whole city block when I'm ready to rock

Blow the speaker box, magnetically shielded or not

Magnetically energy poppin gates of radio waves

Oscilate lyrics and beats copulate to pop your tape

    Manipulatin space in large proportions

"Millions of brain organs get lost when I start talkin

    About shit like supernatural forces

Gnomes and theories and superstring theories

    Most of you motha******s barely

Even understand the English language, much less think clearly"

When I die, will I go to Heaven or Hell

Or will I end up in a place called the Van Allen Belt

I researched my roots, lookin for proof

The best place to hide a lie is between two truths

The aftermath of a nuclear blast

When the average death sentence becomes a dead paragraph

I dig a 5 by 9 rectangle in the grass

Reach your epitab and bury your ***

As the coffin gets lowered into the ground slowly

I'll sing all of your greatest hits, oldies on karaoke

Yo, yo, a little bit of weed and some Henessey

got me ready to set it with kinetic energy

See I need much more energy then my enemies

If I wanna make more Bill's then Bellamy

So I could be on MTV

with women constantly tellin me I resemble Billy Dee

I make fly rhymes to get my name on the scene

Then when I'm on the scene I do shows to get the green

Then I take the green, buy a automobile machine

for that thing on page 43, in Jet Magazine

Canibus is the ultimate executioner's dream

Swingin the guillotine, cause whenever the head is severed

from the human body with a sharp enough weapon

the brain remains conscious for ten seconds

Long enough for me to give you one last message

And when you get to Hell you can tell Lucifer I said it

Don't ever get it confused, ****in with Canibus

the human Rubix Cube like you got somethin to prove

Yo, whoever grabs the mic after me'll get booed

Get everything in the club thrown at you and your crew

From Moet bottles to bar stools, fruits and foods

You got a album out, you get hit with your CD too

    Runnin outside, cryin, lyin, denyin

that you ain't The Gay Rapper, but you got ****ed by him

What's the difference? Y'all niggaz still ain't in lyrical fitness

Too busy mixin your bid'ness with your *****es

While I be in the lab composin forbidden scriptures

So wicked I got, Satan ejaculatin on his fingers

Like Dirk Diggler, in the middle of +Boogie Nights+

Sniffin white, livin the hype, he ruined his life

But I'm a MC of a different type, yeah that's right

Make sure your shit is tight, or I'ma snatch yo' mic, nicca!
