    In any case, the puppet is back to his masters ...Let's see what they do with him. He is back to the same masters who told him to kill his own people in Iran, Kuwait, and who turned a blind eye when he was killing the Kurds with chemicals supplied by their own companies!

    This is just the politics of Arabia. These states say something publicly to put a face on that says, 'hey, we are independent' to keep the population happy but deep down, they are agreeing on every point with the usa.

     

    to get back to your question, even if what i mentioned above is not the reality, they still have a right to reject this gov if they wish. They still have this right, even though the country was invaded using their soil. After all Iraq is at their backyard.

    Smith, I wouldn't go that far. From this peace conference being ran by foreigners not much good will come out. I think history will paint abdiqasim as the good somali here.

    Soccer can be boring to watch ... well ofcourse. any game can be. Anybody who wants a soccer match that isn't boring should watch the Word Cup, UEFA champions league, the African Nations Cup, or the copa libertadoris.

    all that the imf/worldbank do is colonize 3rd world countries economically. When a country takes a loan from the imf or worldbank they agree to certain conditions such as spending less money social services such as schools, hospitals, and gov administrative jobs. This in turn means that less people are working in these traditional fields and less money is put into the economy (because many people have lost their jobs as teachers, nurses, doctors, etc).

     

    At the same time the country taking the loan is encouraged or rather forced to spend on productive industries not needed in that particular country but in countries far far away and way more richer (countries that support the imf and world bank).

     

    The imf and wb always turns the economies of the borrowing nations into producing/exporting economies. The borrowing country will export a product to make money to pay back all these loans even it it means that this product is needed more in the country itself. However, the loan will never ever be paid off because there is so much interest charges. (unless the country is lucky and finds a fast way to make ca$h).

    these three points don't at all benefit somalia. talk about screwing your country up.
