7-Dawlada Norway oo wadanka keentay odayaa dhaqmeed lagu sheegay in ay Puntland iyo Somaaliya ka socdaan. Taasoo laba arimood laga dheehan karo. Ta hore oo la odhan karo nimankani wadanka waxay ku soo galeen kalsooni iyo ogolaansho ay ka haysteen xukuumada iyo wasaarada arimaha debedda. Ta labaad ee lagu sifaynkaraana waxa weeyey, nimankan cidiba may ogeen ee sida ay kuwa kaleba ku soo galaan ayey kuwana ku soo galeen. Laakiin anigu shakhsiyan waxaan qabaa in ay dawladu ogayd wafdigan Soomaliya ka socda oo aanay dawladu islahayn sidii ay ku fashilantay ayuu arinku ku fashilmi doonaa.

5- Bayntii laga yaabay ee wasiirka arimaha debedu saxaafada ugu sheegay markii uu gudoomiye ku xigeenka baarlamaanka Kiiniya iyo wasiirku ay diyaarad soo wada raaceen iyagoo ka soo kicitimay Nayroobi, oo uu wasiirku yidhi gudoomiye ku xigeenka Nayroobi ayaanu kuwada kulanay, gudoomiye ku xigeenkuna yidhi diyaaradaanu kuwada kulanay. “Go figure”.

4- Fashilaadii shirkii Turkiga ee wasiirada dawladu kaga qaybgaleen. Shirkaasoo ay markii hore qaadaceen oo ay yidhaahdeen labada maalmood, maalinta hore ee arimaha horumarinta iyo dhaqaalaha lagaga hadlaayo ayaanu tagaynaa, oo markii dambena laga war helay in ay kii ay diidayeen ka qaybgaleen. Ku andacoodkii wasiir Xaabsade lagaga reebay ee la yidhi baasaboorka Soomaaliland ayaa lagaga reebay. Taas oo ah mid aan caqliga saliimka ahi aanu qaadan Karin. Waxa isqaban wayday macsuumad ayaa na loo fidiyey iyo baasaboorkii Soomaaliland ayaa la diiday. Baasaboorku miyaanu ahayn kii uu wasiir Xaabsade iyo saraalkii kaleba ay Ingriiska ku galeen. Takale, kaba soo qaad in laynoo diiday, miyaanay sharaftu iyo karaamadu ku jirin in aad adiguna diidid oo mar hadii jiritaankaaga la diidanyahay aad adiguna diidid, shilimaad yarina xitaa ha kugu seegeene . Soomaalidaa hore uga maahmaaday, “waan baqtiyayaa looma bahala cuno”, labaatankii sono ee horeba waynu nooleen Turkina maynaan aqoon, ee side wax u jiraan? Waa su’aale u baahan faaladeeda.

Taaso keentay in xukuumadii Kulmiye ay cidla ka heshay oo ay kubada dhinaca ay doontaba u laado Waxa aynu aragnaa siyaasada arimaha debeda oo aan meel loogu hagaago lahayn oo imika u eeg in himiladii iyo naawilkii gooni isku taagu uu hog ku sii dhacaayo oo Dawladii Soomaaliland ay ku dhex milantay Soomaaliye oo ay gaadhay in uu wasiirkii arimaha debedu ku hambalyeeyo Soomaliya distoorkii ay ansixiyeen isaga oo og in distoorkaasi qeexayo in Soomaaliland ka mid tahay maamul goboleedyada Soomaliya. Subj: It is an act of treason From: Ibrahim Mead Lately Muj Mohamed Hashi Elmi was talking about a functioning Somalia’s passport office in Hargeisa under the eyes and ears of Siilanyo’s administration! Now the government of Mr. Siilanyo openly confirmed Mr. Hashi’s worries. The council of Siilanyo’s Ministers told the people to use the TFG travelling document Siilanyo’s Ministers approved the TFG to open a shop in the nation’s capital. Mr. Shareef already opened a passport office in Hargeisa. That renders them as TFG’s agents!! That means they committed treason against the Republic of Somaliland for that notorious act Treason is defined here as: “1. Violation of allegiance toward one’s country or sovereign, especially the betrayal of one’s country by purposely acting to aid its enemies.” Shaeef’s TFG here! 2. A betrayal of trust or confidence. (The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition copyright ©2000 by Houghton Mifflin Company) How arrogantly treasonous is the council of Ministers decision to dump Somaliland passport and tell the people to use TFG passport! Whether one is recognized and the other is not is not the point as far as going to the Hajj is concerned. If some one stopped you going to the Hajj then your Hajj is OK but those who stopped you will answer questions before their Allah. It will also be diplomatically a nightmare to the House of Saud. As far as Somaliland is concerned we stood on our ground, by our principles and bottom line. This council of Ministers act is a flagrant violation of the core fundamental principles and polices of the Republic of Somaliland. It amounts to a sell out! Going to the Hajj is one of the pillars of Islam, however there are conditions attached to this. Unfiltered ability and means to go there is one. Travelling document is a means for going there. If the government in Saudi Arabia tells us that our travelling documents are not allowed then the matter is between the house of Saud and Allah. The Haji’s intent was to perform this years Hajj and these guys stopped him to do that Godly duty, therefore it is not their fault. It is the House of Saudi’s fault, very clear. If Siilanyo’s government represents Somaliland then Somaliland passport is the travelling document whether the house of Saud accepts it or not. However if they represent the TFG in Mogadishu let these guys over there pay them. They better go there. They must never utilize Somaliland resources, monetary and otherwise. They must leave the country and Somaliland people must immediately establish a government that believes Somaliland and the aspiration of her people. They must not play games with Somaliland Mr. Siilanyo, we are calling you to stop this treasonous act immediatelyDon’t tear down Somaliland constitution and what Somaliland stands for Don’t dismantle what has been for the last twenty years with out you Allah is with Mother Somaliland for she is righteous and those who are running her affairs are wrong but the end belongs to the righteous Peace and prayers for the Mother land Ibrahim Mead Posted by webmaster.somalilandcitizen.

So instead of repeating ridiculous clan peppered statements, present some facts. -

Mintid Farayar;868136 wrote: Why don't you ask your new President for an explanation? I'm sure he can give you a very good one on where things stand and why one of the two entities decided to go their own way. Sheekada ka dhex bax, the two administrations will continue their dialogue and a fair, mutually acceptable agreement will be reached, Insha'Allah. And thus far, from the modalities established in the first leg of those talks, three's a crowd! Another laughable response, with nothing new but meaningless emotional diatribe, My new President is being attacked by your biggest Hargaysa news letter as a an "extremist" anti secessionist.. Why is that my friend? Your ludicrous utterances aside, what are the facts? We have a Federal Parliament, a Federal Constitution and a President who has sworn to uphold the territorial integrity of Somalia. We have Somaliland government forced to accept the Federal Somalia passport as the only way for them to go to the Hajj and enter the Arab countries. Again these are facts; all you seem to be bringing to the table is how I might be feeling about Abdiweli & Abdullahi Yusuf. Again an out of touch secessionist who does not understand the change that is taking place in Somalia. -

Mintid-Faryare, if only you know how happy I am today and how much satisfaction and personal rewards I have gained over the last few years as Mogadishu's stability has become better. Mintid Farayar;868106 wrote: Note to Duke: Mogadishu and Hargeisa have a direct line to each other. They've each other's people living in the respective capitals conducting as normal a life as could be expected under the circumstances. The days of Mogadishu and Hargeisa needing a translator to talk to each other have passed more than 20 years ago. As for the new President, I suggest you listen to his campaign speech given in front of the Mogadishu parliament again to hear what he had to say about the Somaliland talks and his position on said talks. It might come as a shock to you Always running off half-cocked, Mr. Duke.... A weak attempt to start friction at a time of good will among all - some never change.... You have not said anything new here. Mogadishu & Hargaysa and their people never had a problem. Even your greatest leader Riyaale never had a problem with Siyad Barre let alone the people of Mogadishu. When did they need translators? The problem has always been the arrogance and absurd stance of secessionist which has always been searching for brownie points from foreign countries and organizations. They are well documented the many outrageous insults, outbursts and claims from your political leaders. Now as Mogadishu becomes more secure and the Federal Government is in place, secessionist Somaliland will become less relevant. Thus, the childish attempts at trying to create a wedge between certain communities in Somalia will not work. You do know that today in Mogadishu the clans that you don’t like much are returning, getting back their properties and taking part in the Cities revival? Note there has not been a major clan war between these communities for over a decade now and thus the days when secessionist’s in Hargaysa used to cry out for the phantom Irrir card is long over. What matters now is explaining your hate for Mogadishu, the flag and Somalia.. Kindly explain? -

Xaaji Xunjuf;868101 wrote: Duke that's always how it starts but eventually they will reach a deal and come to their senses since selling another union to Somalilanders is unreachable impossible and even illogical. As i said that's how it starts the people of Somalia has no real attachment to Somaliland since Somaliland was basically gone the past 22 years the average person in Mogadishu or baydhabo has no clue how Somaliland or the people Somaliland view things nor can they related to their aspirations he only knows what he wants the same way u tell us about what u want. But u dont know how Somalilanders view things. Thats why the talks will take a while and maybe through referendum if its agreed so we can really test and bring forward the true aspirations and desires of the people of Somaliland. And that's why i like the new president he outdoes believe in any form of forced union a healthy coexistence of Somaliland and Somalia is the future. The civil society leadership and influential people in Mogadishu and the south are anti secession some are even unionist and oppose devolution, this how you believe they will support a secessionist movement in Hargaysa is ludicrous. The talks are important and it says more about Somaliland lack of options than anything close to the South’s determination to let it go. Somalia does not suffer and there are no bloodshed between NW Somalia and the rest of the country. The problems in SSC regions will easily be dealt with when that community starts pulling its resources together. However with a new resurgent Mogadishu and a Federal Parliament full of highly educated unionists, I very much doubt that Somalia will allow for secession. I also welcome the fact that Somaliland resident are now able to purchase the Federal Somalia Passport to go to Hajj.. -

XX, there will ne mo referendum or the South Sudan type of option. Somaliland is not South Sudan. All legitimate grievances should be settled and addressed correctly. A bit of maturity is required from our N-Western brothers. -
somalee;868093 wrote: Then one would assume that any member of the 3 ''major clans'' can either be president or PM. What we have here is a situation where not all sub-clan members from the so called major clans are equal. There's a domination of certain sub-clans and I was wondering what the reason of this is. There are alliances that have formed between certain sub clans across the broader clan lines. There was an alliance between Upper Shabelle clan and those of Puntland, since Abdirashid & Adan cade’s time. Siyad Barre had an alliance between his clan and those of Afmadow, las Canood. In the war period there was a clan alliance between Guricee [Abdiqasin] and Abudwaag [ Barre Hiiraale] to dominate Kismayu and so on. The RRA movement was allied to Abdullahi Yusuf’s SSDF against the USC. The SNM was allied to the USC at times. There are also broad clan alliances, for example Djibouti pushes for an alliance between certain regional clans and so on. Also alliance are made between candidates in an election, a candidate will support one for the presidency and the other would get the PM, this happened with Abdiqasin & Galayr in 2000, however such alliance seldom last long. Since 2004 Abdullahi appointed PM from a specific clan in order to help pacify Mogadishu, at that time it did not seem to be working but today that clan which was on the periphery of power at the time has now shown its clout in this most recent election fielding 3 out of the last 4 candidates. The sub clans from Puntland have always been successful in modern Somali history in taking the top positions and have always been on the minds of the powers that be at any given time. Their clout has grown over the past decade since they have been successful in projecting their power in all transitional administrations and with the formation of the Puntland State. However with time, there will be changes and there will be more inter clan alliances and fluidity as time progresses.

Nonsense adeer, the final four inidcates that this was not about clan but change. You had very powerful clans in Mogadishu not making any show, Guriceel,Dayniile, Cadaado, Galmudug, Hiiraan no one from these clans even got past the first stage. Abdiweli's allies Cosoble, Xasan Shiekh and Badiyow did well and then it was Xasan Shiekh with the highest numbers who took on Sharif. Actually Abdiweli & Puntland stand a good chance since they were an integral part of defeating Sharif. Faroole's rants against the two Sharif's alliance did make inroads even within the Parliment.. -

No one believes in a forced union or starting armed conflict within Somali’s, that is a not an option. However in Mogadishu and within the Federal Republic we don’t believe that Somaliland is a separate entity, we believe that the secessionist are but a segment of the NW, that the vast majority of people in Awdal, Waaqoyee Galbeed & Toghdeer would welcome the union if the South is peaceful. Thus we have 40 MP’s from the NW in Parliament; we also will have ministers and sizable population living within Mogadishu, Bossaso and so on. It’s important to note that the talks should continue and this time it will be led by a more competent President and a Parliament that is fully awake.. -
After 4 years if this government does the senses, there no longer will be clan based formula and will be based on multi parties and popularity. We might get a President from the clans that are considered to be minorities..

I welcome the change in tone of the secessionists. Do you forget that we have your leaders from Egaal, Siilanyu, Faisal Waraabe and Edna Adan laughing at Somalia's and in particular Mogadishu's misfortune? Remember the claim much supporter by XX,” that the child born in Addis Ababa is closer to your kin than the child born in Mogadishu”? Thus your lame attempts at dividing Somali’s and getting recognition is as ludicrous as your claims of being “the best kept secret in Africa”. Somalia is emerging and become more unified, the Federal Republic will address Somaliland‘s legitimate concerns. However it will not indulge in secessionist fairy tales.
