  1. Amin pictures is 100% right. The TFG, needs to do allot regarding its own internal issues. However no on least of all Ethiopia will recognise you. Because if that happens we will recognise Oromia, the ****** and the Afar state. So far though the Ethiopians have said they will never recognise Somaliland as a seperate state. Thats why the AU representative in Addis is from the TFG. Thus point can be furthered by the fact that while as usual you have been clutching to any random straw. African Parliment meeting was held.. 3. An eye for an eye, as Somali boy executes father's killer By Simon Freeman and agencies Hooded and bound, Omar Hussein awaits his execution (shabellenews.com) A Somali teenager publicly hacked his father's killer to death in a punishment sanctioned under Islamic law, heightening Somalia's status as a failed country in the eyes of the West. Hundreds of people gathered in Mogadishu to watch the court-ordered execution. Witnesses said that Mohamed Moalim, 16, approached the condemned man Omar Hussein, who was hooded and tied to a pole, and stabbed him repeatedly in the chest, neck and head. Hussein had been found guilty of murdering the boy's father, a teacher, in a similar manner two months ago. The execution was the first to be held in the Somalian capital for a decade and was hailed by local Islamic spiritual leaders as a sign that order was being restored. The execution was carried out as the British Home Office faced mounting pressure over its decision to spare Mustaf Jama, a Somalian convicted of robbery, from deportation three months before he allegedly shot dead a policewoman, Sharon Beshenivsky, 38, in November last year. After carrying out the killing, Mohamed Moalim calmly told: "My father’s killer is now gone. I am happy now because I killed the man who killed my father." Sheikh Ibrahim Mohamed Nur, an imam in the Bermuda district of the capital, said: "Islam is the only solace to the overcome the difficulties we are facing. The justice of Allah has been implemented and there is no better justice than what Allah reccommended." "The public is aware from today on that killers won’t go unpunished as they did in the past," he said. A young bystander who gave his name only as Mohamoud said: "You cannot stop violence by another sort of violence." Graphic photographs of the spectacle were posted on Somali internet sites. It came amid rising fears of an escalation in the tensions between militia loyal to the courts and an alliance of warlords devoted to curbing their influence. Western intelligence agencies are growing increasingly concerned about the creeping influence of al-Qaeda on lawless Somalia, where Islamic extremists are believed to be harbouring senior figures from the terrorist network. John Reid, the Defence Secretary, said today that Jama, still wanted over the Beshenivsky murder, had not been deported to Somalia because an immigration panel had considered it it was simply too dangerous. "When he came out he was considered for deportation but in Somalia the government had fallen apart, it was being controlled by warlords and there was a threat that if he took a plane into the capital, Mogadishu, not only would he have been blown out of the air but the pilot of the plane would have been," Mr Reid said. "So it was decided on balance they should not deport him in this case." Mogadishu’s Islamic courts came into existence law in 1994, three years after the mainly Muslim country of 10 million was plunged into anarchy when Mohamed Siad Barre's 22-year presidency was brought to an end after two years of civil war. In 1995, they ordered the stoning to death of several people convicted of adultery and the amputation of limbs for thieves but Tuesday’s killing was believed to be the first public execution in a decade. 4. The execution of a man by the supposed Islamic court... Shocking picturess...
  5. ^^^ The end for your dreams maybe. The army will be composed of every Somali clan. The regions Gedo, Bay & Bakool, Jubas will send troops who will then be incorporated into the national army and police. An example of this is the 150-200 police officers who went for training in Armo, they were made up of every clan including individuals from Mogadishu. Its a good step, yet I fully understand why a secesionist would be against it... Somali Pres, 2010 is not that far away..
  6. Apart from the title this is the usual garbage. Puntland needs developemtn, if you have better ideas on how to attract foreign investement, I am all ears.
  7. Jubaland would be a good developemtn, but there are a multitude of clans that need to be brougt into the equation. It needs to gain the support of every district, clan sub-clan and that does not mean just the ones competing for the control of Kismayu it means everyone. But it is a good developemnt, as for the title I agree with SKY Abdullahi Yusuf can not give Jubaland or make jubaland It is up to the the population of the districts to decide.
  8. Jaylani, you must be having a laugh if you belive that Somalis' in Mogadishu and other areas want to see the secesionist succeed. That just shows you are still living in cloud cucko land. Mogadishu residents as well as the south are patriotic lot,, the flag that you hate so much is still in their hearts and while we may differ we are stand in our love of unity for our people. The amount of insults secesionist have heaped on the south, the lcaims that we are pathetic ad that the children of Adis are closer to them, will never be forgotten. I on the other hand will like to take this time to differentiate between the looney lot like Warrrabe and our kinfolk in Hargaysa Burco-Berbera traingle who yearn to see a prosperous and stable Somalia...
  9. ^^^ I respect your opinion, though I belive the two men in question are in two different leagues when it comes to leadership. The Arta governemnt had one problem and that was Abdiqasin, he lacked the ability to negotiate with the warlords and the regional state and ended up just talking about Ethiopia till the end. This TFG while it has many faults is building its foundation. I think this will have a lasting postaive legacy in compariosn to Arta which was all about press statements given in the Presidents Palace which happened to be Mr Boy's house. Coming back to the topic, and an interesting point you made earlier. Can Abdiqasin and Xasan Dahir be taken seriously when they tunr a blind eye to what is happening in the lower Shabbele? Or I, the UN and the rest of the Somali's are wrong and nothing is happening in those regoions?
  10. Bashi, the why is complex, but I will have a go. Initially Abdullahi was in favour of the Djabouti conference. Puntland, as you well know sent a delegation to the Arta conference led by Mohamed Abdi hashi. However as time went thinks changed and Puntland complained that it was not being respected, as a building block and belived that its very existance was in question when the 4.5 formula was hatched. It was unlike the nairobi proceedings, not allowed to name the MP's coming from the state. Ismael Omar Gulleh also bought the notion of the power of the clans of Migadishu. That Abadiqasin was a panacea to all the problems of the south. Which played into the hands of Abdullahi Yusuf...
  11. ^^^ My dear friend, I thank you for once a secesionist with some sense. Now I hope you will never claim SOOL, SANAG and CAYN. As this would constitute suppressing the right of the people who live there. Its good you cleared up the defeated lot claim. An ideology which Riyaale, Warrabe and your other ministers agreed with. So if the ideology was defeated how come these men still hold titles? I thank you, and peace love and unity man..
  12. ^^^ Bashi, some good points, yet I disagree with your claims regarding both Abdiqasin and Inda Cade. Abdiqasin, clan credentials are evident by the fact that he could never get major support from his wider clan. As he became President he surrounded himself with members of his sub-clan, from advisors to business personell, this included Xasan Dahir . He even allowed his sub-clan to do battle with other clans in the confederacy in the name of defending the President. An example of this is the bloody battles between his supporters and those of Aydeed Jr in the vicinity of the old port. His time in office was wasted on high rhetoric and lack of action. While he the money for the government went on strengthening his clans militia and business interests in Mogadishu. The creation of several now famous organisations highlighted the benefit the clan gained from his time in office. His claims to being a nationalist are centred on the many years of loyal service he gave to Siyad Baree, 21 years in fact. He never questioned the Barre regime, as today he never questions the actions of his sub-clan. Thus being not only a clanist but a weak individual as well. Another important pint is that Puntland never agreed with the outcome of the Arta conference. While individuals participated to the end, the delegation representing the state walked out. Thus while Abdullahi Yusuf nevr recognised the TFG of Arta and fought its influence on his area of influence. Abdiqasin took part in the Nairobi conference and even contested the election and then swore as did all the warlords that they would support the government of Abdullahi Yuusf. So what we have is Abdiqasin going against what he publicly swore to support, and he cannot use as an excuse that Abdullahi derailed my government. Abdullahi in fact did this and did it openly because he never agreed to it. That he got away with it shows that there is a stark difference between the two men. Inda Cade, Is a man who claims to be a Shiekh, yet admits to not knowing the Quran. He was a street thug in Mogadishu who through hard work and connections elevated himself to Governor of the region. Only his clan have armed militia in the region. All the mayors of all the districts are from his sub clan, his income come from exporting charcoal, kickbacks from NGO’s and trading in Marijuana. He is the very example of what a Muslim leader should not be and stands on a par with the worst of warlords and criminal figures in our recent history.
  13. ^^^ lol. Qudhac it is Mr Warrabe who calls out to the warlords of Mogadishu to fight the TFG. It is for you to answer why? What him to directly appeal to "reer Mogadshu" to fight their own government? To me it seems he is afraid of something, maybe it is the TFG. So the joke, Qudhac is on Mr Warrabe and the looney secesionists... Also this defeated lot you speak about, I assume t is a clan, how come they chased out your President out of LA. If they were defeated surely you would be controling their regions. Only a question?
  14. The issue of occupation by the clan is there. Are you doubting it? The allegation of drugs trade came from the UN monitoring group. The fact that Abdiqasin is close to Inda Cade is common knowledge. The fact that Xadan Dahir never speaks about the actions of his clan is also common knowledge. What did Abdiqasin do with the Arab money? Did he use it to create a police force, Army even for Mogadishu? Come on Horn, you are quick to jump on Puntland. But Puntlland has an army, Police force and number of small institutions. All this was created with no outside money let alone the millions Abdiqasin had in his disposal. Also Mr Horn, Abdullahi is neither preaching nor helping arm his clan to dominate and colonise other fellow Somali's..
  15. ^^^ Ok, the TFG is rubish and the clan state is not. The old man is bad and Warrabe is smart. Give us a break mate, 15 years of propoganda can not hide that outside Hargaysa there is no such thing as a Somaliland. Riyaale isolated only ever meets with a few NGO;s and a couple of British MP's. Your army and threats on SOOL have been quite funny. Thats why Warrabe is banking on the Mogadishu warlords, because frankly every other avenue has been exhausted. Best of lack with Qaynyare coming to your rescue..
  16. ^^^ lol. I had a brief conversation with the old man, but nothing came of it. I hope the post were informative enough.
  17. ^^^lol, at times you do play the ***** . Abdullahi Yusuf has mentioned more than a few times that the nations main issue is security. The disarmament of the clans and he has criticised the armed groups of Mogadishu which includes, courts, warlords, business men for their lack of actions in raining in the warlord. In the case of Abdiqasin, it is his own kinsmen, who fight on his behalf and defend his interets that are causing all the plight. When he was the head of the TFG, did he disarm? Did he even try to bring them under his government, no? He even gave them more armes and re inforced their strangle hold on the area. Nothing can hide that Inda cade is a close aid and ally of Abdiqaisn. Go ask the JVA [junior] they should be able to confirm it for you.
  18. Interetsing, some here are defending the individuals above, what about the people they happen to control? Who gave this clan the right the right to self impose themselves on the people of lower Shabele. As for Abdiqasin, what happened to the Arab money? The other point regardidng this man is he always criticises the Mogadishu warlords, yet he never even mentions the actions of Inda Cade, or the JVA, as a national figure why should he turn a blind eye to this fact. Xasan Dahir alose speaks about Ethiopia, and those that are working for them, why not then talk about the crimes against the Muslim population in the areas that his sub clan control. I have never once come across anything that contradicts that both Abdiqasin and Xasan Dahir are not part of the same gang as Inda CADE.. It is mighty strange that Abdiqasin wants to be taken seriously as a ntional leader and yet never metions Lower Shabele region [next door]. Xasan Dahir wants a Jihad against the Ethiopians yet never metions the plight of the lowr Shabele.. Horn, wake up dude your hypocracy knows no bounds..

  20. ^^^ lol, Somaliland is what? Hargaysa-Burco-Berbera. I give you that much, who recognises it? Does it control the reas which it claims? Before you compare the clan area to Kenya and Ethiopia you need open your eyes to the fact that there is no country called Somaliland. Now for Mr Warrabe, his illogical brain called for war against Garowe and lost. Now he bets on the arlords, courts and armed cans of Mogadishu to derail the TFG. He exhibits a trait all too common for the looney secesionists, which is to panic and start waffling, much like Ooodweyn and others in here. A unified South, North East Somalia would be the end of your pipe dream. I on the other hand think it is already over for the Somaliland joke..
  21. Here is another report... More on the clan takeover... Midnimo.com an earlier post..Report by the UN monitoring group.. Local administration of Lower Shabelle Sheik Yusuf Indohaadde is in charge of the local administration of Lower Shabelle; he assumes the role of governor. Indohaadde’s headquarters and state house are located at Buulamarer, situated on a large, active banana farm north-west of Marka. The geographical area under his control includes the seaports of Marka and Baraawe — he has his own fishing fleet — and an airport at Marka. The local administration also includes prime agricultural lands — including numerous “drug farms†on lands that were taken from the local farmers. In order to exercise control over his geographical area, Indohaadde has his own militia, made up of men from his clan, and other militias from the same clan group, ****** . Indohaadde also has a large number of personal bodyguards, individuals who are most trusted from his own clan. Tax revenue Revenue for Indohaadde’s arms purchases comes from traders, businessmen, the Marka and Baraawe seaports, the airports, checkpoints, farms, NGOs, the fishing fleet and other sources. Indohaadde’s representatives collect taxes on a weekly basis. Every month, from the moneys collected, he pays militia members, his “inner circle†(advisers and closest associates) and the elders of the clan and makes purchases of arms. After those payments are made, the remainder, which is approximately equivalent to $50,000, reverts to Indohaadde himself. Indohaadde collects revenue from NGOs that want to operate in the area under his control; they must obtain Indohaadde’s permission and must pay him a sum of money to conduct their activities. He receives at least 15 per cent of any NGO benefits that are offered to the local population. The fees paid by an NGO for the buildings they use are split between the owner and Indohaadde. He has a say in the question of which Somalis work for NGOs — members of his own clan — and gets part of an employee’s salary. He also has a network of people that monitor the activities of NGOs to ensure their compliance with his financial interests. If an NGO does not comply with his requirements, he forces it to leave his area. Indohaadde also owns drug farms in the area under his control, including at Janaale, Shalambood, Qoryooley, Buulamarer and Kurtun Waarey; the exact number of farms is unknown, but Monitoring Group sources estimated that as many as 10 may be spread throughout his area. He is alleged to be dealing in marijuana (probably in the form of hashish). Indohaadde’s drug farms are a sophisticated operation involving irrigation systems, fertilizers and herbicides. The workers on the farms are experienced in the drug-growing business and receive a good salary to maintain the high quality of the drugs. The drugs undergo a drying process and are packaged and concealed to avoid attracting attention. The product is graded: poorer-quality product is sent to Mogadishu and neighbouring countries for local consumption, while the higherquality product is put into trucks and transported to airstrips or the Marka seaport for further transport to the international market. There are about six harvests per year. Indohaadde is expanding his drugfarming operation, by increasing either the number of farms or production per farm. He allegedly receives a total of approximately $100,000 per harvest for all of the farms. Indohaadde has a “special representative†who handles drug-farm operations on his behalf and uses his militia to guard his drug farms. 22. As some here and elswhere would like to turn a blind eye or even justify the clan occupation and subjucation of the fertile south. This post will compile what is already in the public domain concerning this moral and human tragedy. There seems to be on the part of the media [Mogadishu] a renewd effort since the outbreak of the battles between Mogadishu warlords and courts to acknowledge and cover the depth of the tragedy that has engulfed the people of the Lower Shabele. What we have is a whole sale take over of that region. The main players are, "Dr" Abdiqasin Salad Hasan, "Shiekh" Yusuf Inda cade and "Shiekh" Xasan Dahir Aways... The main players... 1.Abdiqasin Salad Hassan 2.Xasan Dahir Aways 3.Yusuf Indhacade Clan take over...
