  1. No I did not, it is all in your head Al shabab boy. If you hate Tigrays so much get them out of your homes in Gedo, Beledweyne etc. Don't cry to me, I am a man who lives in dignity in his homeland of Somaliland . Living off taxes? Do you think I am a Boli Qaran kid like you? That use to live off the hard earned money of the Somali people through Siad Bare? Or perhaps living off welfare in Boston now? Many of my close uncles were part of the SNM and even I as a younger use to help my uncles with the weapons that liberated Sland, so watch your words Al shabab boy, waxan ahay raga leh wadanka kid . I know the concept of "wadanka ana leh" might not exist in your dictionary since you and along with your president are homeless guarded by Ugandans, Burundians etc.
  2. Al Shabab Boy I don't need Tigrays or so. Remember at the end of the day it is you who needs Ugandans and Burundians, without them your so called president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud would be homeless. I am a descendant of SNM, I liberated my land with my own blood and sweat, I don't need protection from from foreigners. Don't mistake me for you, don't forget to thank your Ugandan, Burundian guards..
  3. Somaliland Needs To Be Prepared To Thwart New Threats From Somalia Writen by Qaran News | Published: May 22nd, 2013 Somalia president has recently said in a news conference coinciding with Somaliland 22nd independence day that “Somalia’s unity is sacred and that Somaliland should swallow the idea of secession”. This rings alarm bells specially at this time when the World has pledged hundreds of millions of dollars to Somalia and when the arms embargo is lifted . Another press release followed today in which the Minister of information of Somalia condemned the recent decision of the Somaliland government to prevent UN flights from entering the country . The Somali Information minister also apologized to UN in the press release about the UN flights embargo by Somaliland . It seems that the Somali government headed by President Hassan has been emboldened in confronting Somaliland by the international support that Somalia receives as well as the collaboration of few landers that had sought jobs in Mogadishu . President Hassan who controls small part of the capital , Mogadishu with the help of the African Union forces (Amsiom) should put that part of his country into order before taking the podium and talking about peaceful and Independent Somaliland. President Mohamud who has ties with Al-Islah, Somalia’s branch of the Muslim Brotherhood had little experience in politics when nominated by clan elders and is a liability that could cause harm to the people of Somaliland as well as Somalia. Somaliland marked its 22nd Independence from Somalia on May 18 2013 and the people of Somaliland had shown their determination to defend their country at any cost during the huge parades that took place in all parts of the country as well as in the Daispora . Again the people of Somaliland may be drawn into another war against Somalia if leaders like Hassan do not realise and respect the wish of the Somaliland people . As a somalilander that had contributed towards the struggle of the SNM financially and morally during the 1980s and early 1990s, I am more than willing to join the struggle again if the need arises . So, I would remind my fellow landers that we should be prepared for any action / plunder that Somalia leaders may take against our country . After all Somaliland regained its independence from Somalia through struggle , hard work , sweat and the blood of its people. 4. Safferz We are not really intertwined, the average Joe in Somaliland doesn't get much affected by what happens in Jubbaland Or Mogadishu. Likewise the people of Somalia did not get affected when hired South African jets were bombing Somaliland cities to ruins. The people of Somalia have no right to cry for unity or any sort, they killed it in the first place as Hon President Siilaanyo put it. Che -Guevara Al shababi You're too emotional, all over the place and have leaks everywhere, get a tissue. It is clear you're not cut out for this kind of discussions which requires realism.
  5. Xaaji Xundjuf That is only if Somalia respects Somaliland independence, otherwise there is no any shared long term interests. Stop thinking too local and think about how you can benefit from relations with other nations in order to have Somalia put in its place forever if it ever tries to get out of line, Somalia can be an enemy while some other country can have some similar interests in line with you. I am not saying Ethiopia is a friend, however there is some shared interests such as no union between Somaliland and Somalia.
  6. Better be honest than hide behind fake Somalinimo and the blue flag like some folks and the next day invite Kenya for lunch in Jubbaland or waving pictures of Uhuru Kenyatta in Taleex. No one is falling for your fake crocodile tears. Take it to where the sun doesn't shine, I am a Somaliland nationalist firstmost political wise.
  7. Listen Al shababi boy, I couldn't care less about the other Somali people, they were destroying their nation for 22 years after attacking the Somaliland people and their lands between 1981-1991, we are already enemies. Somalia is not a friend of Somaliland.

  9. Anything can happen in the future, so it is good to have some countries in the region that are in some ways in line with your interests. There is no thing as a "Somali" people in the political context. Every group have their own interests at least in south Somalia, you see Jubbaland is backed by Kenya. Mogadishu is backed by Uganda- Burundi troops. So who are you trying to hoodwink with this all sudden "Somalinimo" cries? Did you forgot it was the so called other Somali people themselves that did most of the damage to the Somaliland people and their nation. A strong Somalia is more of a threat to Somaliland than a strong Ethiopia, since Soomalia claims our territories on paper and insists on unity even though they were told to go away.
  10. You are the one who is deluding himself. Somaliland's interest is not being united with Somalia, any other countries that support that shouldn't be attacked for simply being in line with the wishes of Somaliland people. The countries that we shall attack more verbally is the deluded Egypt that wants a united Somalia at the expense of Somaliland people so it can harass Ethiopia and engage in proxy wars. I am sorry, we are not going to be human canon for Arab proxy wars in Africa, maybe Zoomalia is happy with that role.
  11. Shared interest, in terms of that political bullet point. It does not mean inviting their troops or something of that sort like the shameless Somalia. They stay in their border, and I stay in mine as a respectable sovergein democratic state, Somaliland security forces are capable of safeguarding their nation against the enemy. If they the Ethiopians don't want to see a union between Somaliland and Somalia, there is no reason for me to go in gun blazing since I am not interested in a union with Somalia to begin with anyway.
  12. Put your your money where your mouth is, for a person that hails from the shameless Somalia, you talk too much nonsense. Why do you think I said Ethiopians don't want to see a United Somalia? Of course I am aware in general that is because of their animosity and interests they hold. Nevertheless the interest of Somaliland is also not uniting with Somalia. In that regard it is a shared interest. Plus I am not Xaaju Xundjuf, I am my own person. I don't believe in "Somaliweyn" interest, it is not something that exists. My motto is Somaliland comes first.
  13. What traitor? Somaliland does not invite Ethiopian troops to its land, we don't need them , we are very capable of keeping our security under control. I can't say the same for Zoomalia. Zoomalia (where you hail from) is a servant state where from Ethiopians to Afghanis have violated its territory and people for over 22 years, were's Somaliland is an equal state and not to be messed with, thanks to patriotic people like Saalax that have refused UNISOM to be deployed to Somaliland in 1992 unlike south Somalia but rather handled his business as SNM.
  14. Che Is one strange kid. His country of origin Somalia loves Ethiopians so much that they welcomed Ethiopian tanks into their capital Mogadishu back in 2006, they also operate in Beledweyne, Central Somalia, Gedo etc in recent years yet he has to audacity to try to accuse others.
  15. How so I only posted what is posted on their site and the general opinions of the Ethiopian mainstream regarding the statement made by their PM. The Tigray whore is you who welcomed them along with their Ethiopian tanks in Mogadishu 2006 .
  16. Xaaji Xunjuf;953757 wrote: Ethiopians are scared of Egyptians, Egypt has motives and we know why they have blocked SL recognition. But if the Ethiopians are serous they should recognize Somaliland independence. But most of the time they are not sincere because no one needs their protection its much about nothing. The African union guarded government is toothless there is no threat coming from the pirates either. It is all about interests, it is in the legal sense Ethiopia can't make that move yet (they have their own issues with secession inside their borders) among , but it is good that they realize a united Somalia being by the likes of Egypt is Danger to them.
  17. Don't you have some buildings to detonate yourself in Al shabab boy?
  18. Interesting. It seems most mainstream Ethiopians know it is Egypt and some other Arab countries that is pushing for a united Somalia so they can harass Ethiopia , as a result most of them are in favor of Somaliland recognition,
  19. The opinions of the mainstream Ethiopians on this. Halefom;953537 wrote: I support the PM on his firm stand making sure to our Enemies, Eritrea, Egypt, and the Al-shabab of South Somalia that if you mess with Ethiopian freienda we will take action to protect our assets and our freinds including military action so, think before you act. It also shows how strong he is despite ESATs false propaganda. Mark;953537 wrote: Egypt was behind the Eritrean independence, and now Egypt is making sure that Somaliland doesn't get independence. The former is to make Ethiopia disintegrate, and the later is to make somalia strong so that it can challenge Ethiopia. Everyone is looking for their national interest, and Ethiopia is should strengthen its diplomacy. Good job anyway! Zeyneba;953537 wrote: · Mark you are absolutly correct Egypt is behind most of the evil against Ethiopia, but Ethiopia seems aware of it now and doing something about it. We need support Somaliland as long as the people of Somaliland want independence it should be their right to become a separate country. They also have a historical right because they were not part of the Italian colony they were part of the British colony. Berhanu;953537 wrote: I think it is big mistake that Ethiopia not recognise Somaliland state. There is two good reason first Somaliland pple are friendliest pple of Ethiopia has with in the region, secondly Somaliland and Ethiopia has common enemy of Egypt. Biletaral relation and recognition of Somaliland mean strong Ethiopia. Jay;953537 wrote: I welcome this development. Ethiopia and Somaliland are not only common allies but they go back long way. Ethiopia can not recognize Somaliland for legal reasons (neighbor) but supporting Somaliland until it achieves its recognition is a great move. We will have one more friend in a hostile region. A friend is never prized nor questioned. We welcome the Prime Minister's wise foreign policy and it will be one that keeps Ethiopia's dominance in the region. If Somaliland returns to Somalia, united Somalia is a formidable rivalry. The West, Arabs and even Turkey wants to restore united Somalia so they can harass Ethiopia. They call this regional balance of powers in their diplomatic language. If we don't support Somaliland in its hour of need then they will not be a friend nor will they allow us any port usage. Somaliland income does not so much depend on port like Djibouti. They can go back to Somalia and diversify their income example petroleum, livestock, etc. berhane;953537 wrote: Here is the main reason: Somaliland provides a dependable buffer to Djibouti from whatever kind of trouble that might arise from any kind of groups or unfriendly countries. Indirectly speaking, Ethiopia will do everything, including force, to defend Djibouti, and the strategy for defending Djibouti starts with Somaliland. And by the way, what is the world waiting for to recognise Somaliland as an independent country? Is the world waiting for bloodshed? Any difference b/n peaceful Somaliland and war ravaged kosovo? Recognition is the answer and I think Ethiopia is going to be the first to do so.
  20. Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn says we will defend Somaliland Tigrai Online May 21, 2013 Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn declared bi-partisan support for Somaliland in the case of military action against the threat from neighboring Somalia and other external militants such as al Shabab. Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn declared bi-partisan support for Somaliland in the case of military action against the threat from neighboring Somalia and other external militants such as al Shabab. The Prime Minister delivered the keynote speech this weekend in the Ethiopian Parliament in front of Ethiopian legislators. Mr. Desalegn specified that Ethiopia is ready to provide diplomatic, military, and economic support to Somaliland “should they need it”.“ Somaliland is a friend and a key strategic ally for Ethiopia. We will spare no expense to defend and protect Somaliland. We are ready to extend an arm of support to our Somaliland brothers every time they are in need of one, ” Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn told the Parliamentarians.
