Hi Guys, I have noticed there are 3 types of SOLers. 1. The argumentative type Always posting new threads but will argue for the sake of arguing. This group of people criticise a great deal and are over-represented by those who have been here the longest. 2. The Informative type Those who like to inform and add new ideas to the discussion. This group of people are trying to seek acceptance and attempt to come across as been constructive. 3.The Hijacker type Those who never post anything nor add anything informative but will hijack most new threads and make it their own. Which profile do you fit under? TheMarc

I agree Geel_Jire, I don’t believe that blame A/Y or Geedi will be the end of the problem. Those who succeed them will probably be just as tribalist. I think the problem with Somalia is much more endemic that it’s political leaders. All Somalis seem to have an opinion on Somalia’s political crisis and each one advocates a different solution to everyone else’s. I think we need to compromise and have deference. While it’s good that everyone has an input on the decision making process, it’s equally important that we compromise and come to a general consensus on the all political issues.

i think if we had a common objective then there would be peace in somalia.

I have never been the pessimistic type but lately it appears the situation in Somalia is getting out of control. Somalia is probably in a worst state today than it’s ever been and I can’t help but feel the situation will get worse in the building to the elections in 2009. Do you guys believe there will ever be a time when we can live side by side and in harmony? Without any hatred or discrimination? What can we do to change the situation? And can anything be achieved? And mostly importantly will there ever be peace? No sarcastic comments! No diverting from the topic! Just personal and honest opinions! Brother Marc

This thread proves my premise was right all along. There is no free speech on SOL and worst still; those who intimidate people have come out in their thousands. I feel that my honour has been compromised and I feel insulted by U-Doggy Dog and IBZ attempts to expose my life on the internet. These spineless people have seriously tested my confidence in SOL. Nonetheless I am thankful to all those who have defended my innocence and stood by my side! Thank! I am seeking compensation for this unfortunate incident. It’s not fair, and most certainly unnecessary. U-Doggy Dog, in particular has consistently been a menace to me and I want him banned Indefinitely! I would also like to see IBZ banned as well! The moderators have not done their jobs sufficiently in protecting peoples private lives and I feel if your not up to the job, pass the baton on to someone who is more capable. FF has not been neutral and has attacked me constantly; I am also seeking compensation from her! I would appreciate it, if her moderator duties were relieved from her!
