  1. ^^ As if it's something as simple as "reer hebel sal-fududaa" in an election week.
  2. ^^ It differs greatly, saaxib. Kuwait and Bahrain are closer to Egypt than Saudi when it comes to women and what they can do. The UAE is a mixture of both. Qatar is catching up (have you seen the Amir's wife?).
  3. ^^ Hada I made sure to give you a picture of one with no hijab one (I know that turns your lot on). It's not "token" in most places other than Saudi. Wax fahan.
  4. ^^ War I have studied A&T's style and method when it comes to these topics. He's a peacock, saaxib. Indhiho ka gaajooda isla markii na, indhiho ka darga. Other than making them laugh with his lewed comments or accidently burshing his hand somewhere south of their shoulders, he does not strike me as the kind that finishes jobs to thier (for him) disappointing end (and, such ends are more likely to be disappointing than no for a married man like himt). Naga daa.
  5. ^^ It's all about keeping your audiance wanting more, saaxib. I suspect the two women suffered the same fate.
  6. ^^ Heh. Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "baby shower". (morning all).
  7. ^^ Don't confuse Saudis with the rest of the region, saaxib. Here is a Kuwaiti female pilot: Here is a list of Arab women: http://butheina.wordpress.com/2012/05/24/a-subjective-power-list-of-100-arab-women/ There are two Somali women in there too.. (of course, this is not a real list and is the choice of the blog author).

Love it when you play all naive and innocent, Malika. You know and I know that these women approach A&T because they can clearly see the lust in his eyes (and you being a woman, must have come across hundreds of men with such eyes). Marka, what's with all this innocence? Waxaad waydiisa: how did the conversation go after that and what did you say in return.
  9. Sounds like Siilaanyo got an election booster from Mahiga's letter. Twenty four more hours to milk it.
  10. I didn't know you had visions, Alpha! What kind of visions and how often do you get them?
  11. ^^ You're all back to front with your incosistant arguments there, saaxib. I shall show some mercy and spare you from resorting to means and ends again. FIN.
  12. ^^ He looks like how I always pictured Nasser, saaxib. Please tell me he's a Galgala boy!
  13. I wonder if the ones behind these isbaaros were invited to this casho sharaf ()! I mean why else is the president saying these words: “Muqdisho oo caasimadii dalka ah lixdan isbaaro ayaa taala, waxaan ognahay cida ay u taalo, shaqsiyaadka ka dambeeya, kooxaha is ka leh, dhaqaalaha ka soo xarooda tiradiisa, iyo jeebabka ay kala gasho, faro iskuma fiiqeyno, iskuma dacaayadeyneyno, waxaan rabnaa inaan ka shaqeyno sidii aan isbaarooyinkaas u qaadi laheyn dariiqyadana nabad loogu mari lahaa".
  14. ^^ Err..bang your head a couple more times, saaxib. I clearly pointed out where the article was being sensationalist (so this change of tack from you is a non starter). As for you, retreat is really your only option here. You're wilting under my gentle pressure already. (bax warya).
  15. Apophis;893039 wrote: ^ It was a general statement; you made an assumption and you got burnt, don't blame me Err.. an assumption would have made sense if I picked a word or two from your general reply. This was NOT a general reply. This was a direct reply to my actual query there. War make a retreat, disppear and pretend that you're busy with work or even change the subject dee. This is very shabby work, saaxib. Wax fahan. p.s. Ayeeyo, get it out of your system. :D
  16. ^^ Keep tying yourself in knots of your own making, saaxib! The acceptance was implied or else what was the need for this aporpos to (as you claim now) nothing in your reply there? Naga daa dee.
  17. ^^ War bang your head against a wall or something. Maybe then the wires will go in the right places and your brain will reboot. In the other thread, you ignore the whole issue and choose to attack the blogger for his sensationalist article. In this thread, you ignore the sensationalist articles and attack the government. You're as consistent as the dung of a Kenyan cow with an upset stomach warya.
  18. ^^ I replied to Abu Salman before reading your words there. Heh (mac sonkor). Abu Salman, I never ever play mother Theresa saaxib. Old Somali men and women require a kind of patiance that I sadly don't have. I don't mind the work, the time or the energy spent on such issues. I just can't stand the arguments the "I know best" and the disrespect you usually end up suffering when all you've tried to do is help. (good luck to you of course).
  19. ^^ Saudi Arabia is too far for both of us. Lets go and apply your argument to the Garrisa thing on the other thead. I note that you seem to be singing a different tune there. (bax warya).
  20. Oh look! Apo is questioning an "end justifying the means" article!
  21. ^^ Qabyaalada jooji, ayeeyo. Love it, Apo! (you can't claim the moral high ground when your whole foundations rest on such a filmsy argument, saaxib).
  22. ^^ And the president is going to deny it then take steps to correct the matter and prevent any such incidents from taking place in the future. These steps are more than likely to consist of the sacking of the defence minister (the alleged Garrisa born Yusuf Haji). This stuff is better than fiction!
  23. Apophis;892999 wrote: ^^ nonsense, you're disturbed by the revelation. You seem to be saying: "it was thus always so no biggie". So what they've electron-iced the tracking of half the population, it's still abhorrent and they should be called out on. Abhorrent it is (and it's not just half the population, it's more like two thirds). However, how about not troubling yourself with what I "seem to be saying" and asking me outright, saaxib? In fact, how about reading my first, second and thrid replied here. You usually have the ability to follow someone's argument, aren't you? What I am giving you here is factual without any of the sensationalist rubbish found in the original article. Wax fahan.
