  1. I got a phone about two months ago. I hardly use it and, today, I actually left it at home. I hate mobile phones and think they should be banned.

He's a big boy and is acutally very thick skinned. I dare say that if he were here now his only response to your words above would be: loooooooooooooooooooool
  3. ^^ Doesn't sound like him at all. Our Jac is not as thin skinned as you think. Ooh! Maybe you forget to post the last bit in his message.

  5. Miss me already italics girl.
  6. You've become like gaalada that have their christmas party in June, saaxib! Almost ten days left to the start of Ramadan. No need to rush with your best wishes.

Zenobia, What VIP? And when have you ever seen me being anything but nice?
  8. In the past week I have been going to sleep pretty early and waking up even earlier. I don't like the feeling at all. I feel tired all the time! Would love to get back to my usual four hours sleep per night. Want to swap, X?

^^ As if you two would know Ayaayo (Zanobia), tell me who's upsetting you, I'll sort them out for you right away. Just point at them, ayaayo, just point at them. Nota Bene (or Naomi B to your friends),animated excitement is not really my thing but I have to say that you're a breath of fresh air on this tired old place. Keep it up and, whatever you do, never go to the dark side (namely J.Baro and Ghanima's little clique). Ps I always thought that slowing down and not going out much has more to do with work and age than marriage and commitments. One gets tired of the whole thing after a while. In fact, many a twenty year olds are longing for hard work and marriage simply to have a good excuse not to go out. Pps Several ladies, in the past few days, have been making very disparaging comments about mothers-in-law. Stop it you spoilt brats; Somali mothers-in-law are sweetness personified.
  10. ^^ You could have gone to the Lake District and seen all that impressed you in convict land, with hardly any expense at all. Typical of you to do it the hard way really. Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner That I love London so Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner That I think of her wherever I go I get a funny feeling inside of me When walking up and down Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner That I love London Town
  11. ^^ Do some hoovering or something.
  12. I just got in. Five to ten. Roobleh your request has been noted and you shall soon be obliged. ps How many North Americans use this site anyway? I only see about five or six of the creatures. It's those convicts that are giving us a run for our money.
  13. The homeward journey starts in five. I’m going in. wish me luck!
  14. ^^^ He has a point though.
  15. ^^ I have it on a good authority that you're not a bad footballer. You do you thing I suppose (I shall ignore your other comment). On the monkey thing, did you know I had one of those when I was ten. It did more than summersaults I can assure you
  16. ^^ Not even Hindus would adopt a monkey, saaxib. It's more likely that this woman is mad. The BBC is dumping down!
  17. Serenity, Brace yourself for another ugly evening tonight. At least yesterday many people left work early to catch up with trains before they were finally suspended. Tonight they don't have that luxury and will be crowding you all the way to north London (best place in town by the way). On the plus side for you of course is that lovely slim, slender and wiry physique of yours. You'll always find a space in a crowded train, gorgeous.
  18. Oodweyne, Allow me to tug at your beard for a little longer, saaxib. I appreciate that my words might somewhat frustrate you but one can not have you going around the place claiming to stickup for your country regardless of it being right or wrong! The right part is, as is obvious (I hope), ok with me. But that wrong bit is what I find slightly unsettling. Maybe it was the looming tube strike. Maybe it was Duke and Ali Nayruus pulling at your macawis ends. Maybe it was your wild love of Somaliland. Or maybe it was a combination of all! Whatever it was it seems to have blinded you a bit and muddled up your usually rational arguments. To start with, the number of people hailing from Somaliland but living in many Arab countries is substantial and strong enough to be brushed aside or ignored in the way you propose. Many of them are forced (by their host nations) to use TFG documents. I suggest you have a rethink about your strategy there. I'm certain that the Somaliland administration will not dare turn away such people. On the right and wrong point, I don't think that is a healthy attitude for one to have. Excess and extreme positions are never a good idea in ANY circumstance. In addition, if you're overzealous in such a way now and have principles that could never be changed or modified, one wonders if you'll ever soften up once Somaliland is recognised! What if you follow through with the same attitude and argue that you fully support your political party, clan or benefactor regardless of them being right or wrong? That position is very flawed saaxib, wouldn't you agree?
  19. ^^ I was there ten minutes ago but I didn't smoke. Originally posted by Ghanima: Erm CG: No I meant snob’s, I.e. someone who feels superior and looks down on others. Ngonge is not guilty of that (mostly) but some of his friends are  Sounds like I've become sloppy and let my standards drop! As for the nerds (snobs) I'm sure they're nerdy, snobby and intelligent enough to find something to talk about in this topic. How about the relevance of trade unions in the 21st centaury? Oodwyene can entertain us with stories about the miner's strike of 1984 and Arthur Scargill's struggle against Mrs T. Or maybe how Mr Rupert Murdoch changed the newspaper industry and the story of the infamous Wapping dispute. ** Pushes glasses back and looks at Ghanima whilst wondering if it's not only her flabby bits that require exercising **
  20. ^^ That's the drivers, saaxib. These poor buggers don't get paid as much.
  21. ^^ es xareefi today lakin tomorrow halkanaad ku so noqon and then you will start to care calashan it's all a pain in the xaga dhambe.
  22. ^^^ Away with thee, tree-huger. To bike it to work would at least take an hour and I'll get there in a somewhat less than my usually immaculate state. Not really an option. Val, that's because you live and work in - to put it very mildly - a very tame part of town.
  23. Since, without a shred of doubt, you form the overwhelming majority of people on this site, I thought I'd start this thread for us all to have a moan about this week's tube strikes. Did you make it to work ok? Any juicy incidents take place on your journey? I made it to work in forty-five minutes flat! On a normal day it takes me an hour and fifteen minutes. Heh.
  24. ^^^ 24 is too old at any rate. Missed the train and just about to catch up with the bus.
