The mayor was on TV saying if Istambul can accommodate 15 million, Benaadir can handle all Somalis out there.. The likes of you will only believe it when Al Arabiyah or Jazeera report the mass movement.. 1- My argument assumes FAT, BIG legs when all you're comparing this with is the romantic nonsense about Hargeisa when it was a pile of rubble (the two are not comparable and those that returned to H town were, unlike you of course, the ones that had no place to run to). 2- This "exodus" that is presented to us as a massive group of people going back home becuase of hope and love of their country wilfully ignores the fact that most of them are being FORCED to leave. 3- "The likes of me" also follow the BBC, CNN or any other news source that is not controlled by the backwards likes of you. Wax fahan. 4- Naga daaya dee.
  2. ^^ Yes, the flower. People in love see them in every place (including the bulaacad that is Alpha's mind).
  3. I recommend he reads the following books: The Absent Base by G. Duke The Wayward Caravan by X. Finiin The Country, the President & the Prostitute by A.T The Jinni of Xamar by Mr Jimicsi The Somali Question by X. Xunjuf The Empty Well by A. M. Faroole The Goryo Song by A. Chimera C Is E by N. 4. When I hear "Maxaa isku dhacaayo" I picture a man walking into his house and hearing noises coming from his kitchen. He asks "maxaa isku dhacaayo" and she replies "nabad" even though she knows full well what his question means but doesn't want him to tell her off for hiring yet another culmsy maid. "Lafahaa" on the other hand sounds like a waraabe eating story.
  5. Marxaba Maaddeey. Same old, alxamdulilah. How about you? By the way, what is the exact meaning of "Maxaa isku dhacaayo"? (I know what it means and understand the inference but I'm asking about the literal meaning of it). Explain "ka dar oo dibi dhal" while you're at it.

Just let have specific things like Kahawa Cafe is shut and closing down sale at the Omani Shisha place for him to get the scale of the exodus - movement of jaad ppl.. You too? Naga daaya dee. Refugees are finding it hard to stay in Kenya and have been (more or less) forced to return home. Spin doctors in SOL are trying to sell this sad situation as some sort of happy return. If one ignores the spin and just focuses on the "mass exodus" argument, how in the world is a devestated place like Xamar going to cope with such an "exodus"? War macqool ku hadla dee. What's this, an Indian movie?
  7. ^^ Have you found a place yet or are you in a hotel still? (don't cry when you leave Dubai) p.s. Morning Juxa. Same old same old, How about you?
  8. ^^ When you say "covered", are you talking about your pension fund? (new car, new home, new job AND new you! It has to be the pension fund).
  9. ^^ Nothing cynical or pessimistic about the sentimental spin that some of you are putting on this sad situation. I deal with truths and you deal with nonsense.
  10. Heh@I'm sure we are safe :D
  11. ^^ They did with another Somali minister in the past, why not with her?
  12. ^^ What if someone related to her passes away and she needs to make an urgent visit before time? What will be your position then, Xaaji? (it happened before, did it not?).
  13. ^^ Oh, it's the refugees being kicked out and not the Chimeras or hotle owners leaving of their own accord? Why didn't you say that from the start dee! Naga daaya!

Xaaji Xunjuf;904379 wrote: guys lets leave fawziya alone let her do her job and thats a thing she is good at any one who wants to meet her welcom her is welcom nothing wrong with that whether he works for HCTV or CNN it doesnt matter. Is that what you will say if Fawziya returns to SL and is promptly arrested at the airport?
  15. ^^ Warya, Norf iyo curyaamin badan ayaa meelahan marmara marka, fadlan, ha i kashifin dee. In other words, what are you talking about?
  16. What does "Seedigay ma noqon?" mean? Are you offering me a Qardhaawi way in? p.s. I had a deal with KK, she's bringing up the girls for my boys (well, the deal was for the one boy but now I think we can agree to do a package).
  17. Hosni Mubarak left in 2012. Ali Abdullah Saleh agreed to give up power in November 2011. The rest is all, more or less (excpet the pig & HIV), accurate.
  18. Norf, There might be an argument for "spelling" but I can't see how you can argue that there is a correct way of prononciation when regional variations exist in every language. p.s. Coofle is losing his mind if he's trying to talk sense to Alpha. Ninyaho jeceel ba ku waali oo bulaacad walba ubax baad ku argta (except of course the orginal ubax).
  19. ^^ Waa runta, hadoo ba wax jeclaaday wali waa shabaab. Coofle, may she keep you smiling saaxib.
  20. ^^ Maxaad o amaanaysa? He spent SEVEN long years in the Arab world and he still can't speak proper Arabic. Adigo you probably spent less time in Holland and your Dutch is (I assume) quite good. Jeddah is a different place to Dubai. I expect Norf to be speaking fluent Arabic within six months. (thanks for the duca).
  21. ^^ It's a logistic nightmare, saaxib. I don't believe such a "mass exodus" is taking place. More so when one takes what nuune wrote above seriously (hotels and supermarkets closing? Visas being refused? etc, etc). Naga daaya dee.
  22. ^^ Oday wax jeclaaday waa mushkila!
