  1. I like the way the word 'badow' annoys everyone. Juxa, this is Jb you're talking about. You should not even be asking that question.
  2. ^^ Perfectly acceptable in English too, you sponge. Juxa, you and Maaddeey badow baad tehiin dee. Jb is making a political point. Wax fahan.
  3. ^^ I just read the Maaddeey thread over there. I refuse to worry about my broken Somali anymore.
  4. Jb is right, I too like it when Juxa gets angry. Kow ka sii, eedo. Kab ku tuur. Bidaarta ka dhakar.
  5. Sayid waa fulay. He's on the defence straight away. Ibti, me and Jb will survive but the dolphins might eat nuune.
  6. I like it when Ibti is angry. But the cow is selfish. She's keeping it all to herself and not allowing us to enjoy the spectacle.
  7. Simple chemical imbalance? For the love of Qardho, somebody get the girl some cake.
  8. It is, isn't CL? Hello Juxa. Who stood on Ibti's abaayah today?
  9. This song would sound great in Somali. Wednesday morning at five o'clock as the day begins Silently closing her bedroom door Leaving the note that she hoped would say more She goes downstairs to the kitchen clutching her handkerchief Quietly turning the back door key Stepping outside she is free She (we gave her most of our lives) is leaving (sacrificed most of our lives) home (we gave her everything money could buy) She's leaving home after living alone for so many years (bye bye) Father snores as his wife gets into her dressing gown Picks up the letter that's lying there Standing alone at the top of the stairs She breaks down and cries to her husband Daddy our baby's gone Why would she treat us so thoughtlessly How could she do this to me She (We never thought of ourselves) is leaving (never a thought for ourselves) home (we struggled hard all our lives to get by) She's leaving home after living alone for so many years (bye bye) Friday morning at nine o'clock she is far away Waiting to keep the appointment she made Meeting a man from the motor trade She (what did we do that was wrong) is having (we didn't know it was wrong) fun (fun is the one thing that money can't buy) Something inside that was always denied for so many years (bye bye) She's leaving home (bye bye)
  10. Enjoy a bit of Orwell A happy vicar I might have been Two hundred years ago To preach upon eternal doom And watch my walnuts grow; But born, alas, in an evil time, I missed that pleasant haven, For the hair has grown on my upper lip And the clergy are all clean-shaven. And later still the times were good, We were so easy to please, We rocked our troubled thoughts to sleep On the bosoms of the trees. All ignorant we dared to own The joys we now dissemble; The greenfinch on the apple bough Could make my enemies tremble. But girl's bellies and apricots, Roach in a shaded stream, Horses, ducks in flight at dawn, All these are a dream. It is forbidden to dream again; We maim our joys or hide them: Horses are made of chromium steel And little fat men shall ride them. I am the worm who never turned, The eunuch without a harem; Between the priest and the commissar I walk like Eugene Aram; And the commissar is telling my fortune While the radio plays, But the priest has promised an Austin Seven, For Duggie always pays. I dreamt I dwelt in marble halls, And woke to find it true; I wasn't born for an age like this; Was Smith? Was Jones? Were you?
  11. ^^ I gave you a link from the official Liverpool site. Read the first sentence, Arsenal fan.

  13. Originally posted by xiinfaniin: My observation on this week's SL fiasco and SOL landers ability to spin the bad news When the push came to shove, and SL’s reputation badly needed defense, one man, and one man only, was available to face SOL’s glare. That man was Jacaylbaro! In the face of a rather vigorous The Zack, combined with Aw Tusbaxle’s eloquent essays that detailed onlf’s landing on the shores of Awdal and its subsequent, and successful march toward the border, Jacaylbaro was the only man fighting on SL’s propaganda hill, a hill, it must be bore in mind, that was not worth fighting. NGONGE flinched from answering SOL’s queries while Xaaji Xunduf strangely stayed quit. Qudhac, Suldaan, and old Ayyoub attempted to put up a fight but were quickly repelled---funny that Ayyoub and Suldaan resorted to the same analogy, which made their effort rather lame. Oodweyne, the sharpest knife in the secessionist drawer, was nowhere to be seen. Northern remained true to his character and called the whole thing embarrassment. His follow up threats to impose tight border security were understandable. So lets go easy on our Jacayl Typical PL mentality. War normal people don't 'defend' every madness. The salt sacks crossed the border, it was confirmed they had crossed and there was nothing to spin there. Filed under 'live to fight another day'. P.S. The guru became your devil recently. You keep invoking his name when he's not here. Ka joog yaanu kuu soo bixin. P.P.S Maaddeey, there is a subtle difference between mudaaharaad and an uprising. One is a demo and the other is a rebillion.
  14. Originally posted by N.O.R.F: You didn't watch any ofthose game LIVE. I remember the season. 2005-2006. He scored plenty and set up plenty. Pull up the stats From the LFC official site Just woke up and the first thing I did was check your reply to my comment. That's exactly what most LFC fans think of Kewell's time at LFC (and what most think of Bable, though the latter hardly been injured).
  15. ^^ You used to say that about Harry Kewell and he was still rubbish, Arsenal fan. I see talent but I also can spot wasted talent. That's the difference.
  16. The Zack, su'aalaha dee waa iska caadi, badow yaho. It's not as if the ONLF crossed into Peru. They want to Ethiopia through the SL borders, they have every right to ask to be present when the suspects are questioned. However, to hand them over is political suicide. Wax fahan.
  17. ^^ The annoying thing in this is that the players who you think are 'good' give the ball away ALL the time and put the team under pressure. The players you think are rubbish (such as Lucas) hardly ever give the ball away. I'll tell you again. If Liverpool win on Sunday, you will praise Gerard, Torres and Cole but will not see any of the good work Lucas does. If they lose, you will blame him for passing the ball to the opposition defenders and will not notice that the ****** up front were the ones who were off their game. P.S. Meireles will not start and I do hope that Poulson does not either (he's off the pace still). Long term, I would prefer it if Lucas and Meireles played in the middle. Gerard played on the left, Kyut on the right and Cole in the hole. Most people would want Cole on the left but I don't think he's fast enough these days.
  18. ^^ Yes I said that in another thread and you still didn't get it. Marka maxaan ku idhaahda, saaxib? Take your time and think it through.
  19. Originally posted by The Zack: NGONGE, I don't think you understand how Ethiopia's demands from Somaliland are easily provided. A father and daughter is what you want to have in your mind when you think of Ethiopia and Somaliland. Dee is it what you like to believe or how the world actually works? I understand the relationship between the two places. I understand how the world works and, more importantly, I understand how people work. I am telling you here and now (and you can quote me whenever you like) that nobody will get handed over before the committee does its work (and even then I strongly believe that no Awdal person is going to get handed over). Siyaasada baro adeer. P.S. Maaddeey, lets leave it at not understanding the meaning of uprising ya saaxibi.
  20. Heh@Maaddeey..Xamaasada title-ka ayaay ka muuqata (uprising?). I don't think anyone from Awdal is going to get handed over to the Ethiopians. Meeshan siyaasad ba ka socota, saaxib.
  21. They both were on Question Time last night. Both played it safe but I did not warm to Ed at all. All I see is a big kid in a suit (just like Will Hague when he was leader of the tories). I am not a member of the labour party.
