Were I to hazard a guess however, I would wager that they will return disappointed! Not because their efforts are not worthy but more to do with the incompetence of the TFG itself. With the PL route closed and relations there as strained as they've never been before, sooner or later, all the roads will lead to H Town. SSC entity, with all of its shortcomings, must be the best thing ever emerged from these regions for the last twenty years. Unlike your intake, where you self-assured and foresaw that these people have no choice but to be part of H-block at the end, it is an axiom where that stand might’ve some truth in it, but clearly the success and failure of SSC political endeavors depend on her leaders. If they promote unity and cement cohesion in their communities they shall be victorious irrespective of whomever they’ve political associations with and, under whatever circumstances they may be in at the time. Meeting with the nominal, weak TFG leadership I see it as a progress but as I stated earlier in order SSC realizes her dreams; more needs to be done at the home front instead of dwelling afar places. Apparently, most of the solutions of SSC's predicaments are within. However, one thing is for certain; a friend and foe alike, we all admit that SSC reassembles the more pronounced model of building blocks, bottom up approach for the resurrection of Somali Republic in proper. And, to this end, we’ve to support the holistic elements of their political endeavor as that will benefit us in a way that is not visible to many of us. Except for the 'Somali Republic' part, I am in full agreement with you here. We wait and see.
  2. ^^ Missing the point has become a habit with you.
  3. ^^ Markaad 'independent' tedhi ma 'small' baad ka wadaay? Ileen qolada Hunguri wataad 'Main' ku sheegtay. (I have just realised that my drive to seduce Nassir was all wrong. Kabeerahom Al Ladi Calamahom Al Sixir ileen waa Hunguri).
  4. The irony of being taught about political decorum from a Farole fan! It's comments like these that leave me pinning for the Guru's quick return.
  5. ^^ Nobody is sure yet. Lets just wait for the GAROWE ONLINE report.

  8. ^^ Mowjaad khalad baad iska raacaday, Xaaji. Badal, badal. Dadkaan ku leh ninko waa 'jaasuus' oo hadana na leh Somaliland is part of Somalia bal wax u sheeg. Maca kii raacay waa kuwa wada diiday! Originally posted by Ducaysane: after listening Oomaar's interview, I have to admit that his loyalty lies more in Hargaysa than in Mogadishu. He was keep saying "Somalia and Somaliland" what the F...ck. since when Somaliland became a country. This guy will cause damage to the somalia unity. If he was talking about Puntland, do you think he would say PL or just plain Somalia? He's a politician, it's natural that he would not want to burn any bridges. P.S. It was not long ago when there were complaints in the forum about how SL banned this guy from attending his father's fuenral. Ma saca bi saca baa?
  9. ^^ You will not convince him. He is as stubborn about that nonsense as you are about Lucas. Dee naga daaya.

GAROWE ONLINE Strange! He sent a statement to Garowe Online but not to me?
  11. ^^ As good as, saaxib. I've given you countless proofs of the man's worth. You see what you want to see. Bob, Hansen is rubbish saaxib. Liverpool shaqa kuma leh. Naga daa dee.

    ^^ Injuries, injuries xaasid yaho.
  13. ^^ Iga raali aho, adeer. Waxaan ku moodayaay qof saaxi. Keep waving those stars and stripes, John.
  14. Stoke played well and Liverpool were utter crap. I stand corrected on that one. Chelsea's world class squad is falling to pieces. Oh, but look, Spurs just beat Blackburn by four goals (with more or less the same squad that lost to Bolton the other day). War bahasha barta dee. The way things are going I fear that Arsenal may win the leauge. Heh. Heh. Edit: Norf, Lucas played as well as he did in previous games. Not really that far from man of the match. But then again, the entire performance was dire. Naga daa dee.
  15. ^^ So in your logic, the people of Maakhir should just shut it and let the others fight over nothing? How about you do go first and they follow. Arr dadkaan beenta isu sheegaya ya naga qabta. Qabiil was and remains everything. It is real. It is how the whole TFG and Somali politics works. It may be used wrongly. It may be disgusting but it is a fact. If you are from a different clan, do not expect someone from Maakhir to trust you just becuase you said he should (give him reasons to). If you are from the deepest south, do not get shocked if those from PL would put their own fate above yours. This is Somali politics, it is the nature of the beast. Get stuck in or get out. Everything else (for now) is stuff and nonsense.
  16. ^^ I don't think picking kids up is ever a great thing. It's a bloody chore.
  17. ^^ Israel is a supposed democracy, is it not? Did you see what they did to the British FM recently? This is politics, saaxib. It is all about 'saving face' and hitting back with an equal insult. It is calculated and well thought out, never a whim (yes, even in Kenya's case).
  18. Originally posted by ElPunto: Ngonge - at least in a democratic country - you would get a little debate, even behind closed doors. Government officials in the Arab world seem to make many decisions on whim and tantrum. Heh. Democracy has nothing to do with BUSINESS. If the shoe was on the other foot, Canada would have done the same (in fact, I bet they would have gone even further). By the way, when it is political and involves the whole state, there is no such thing as a whim. They would have thought long and hard about this decision before making it.
  19. ^^ Juxa is easily pleased ninyaho. A couple of months ago, I had to pick one of the kids from school. They went to a trip and were coming back at seven in the evening (or so we were told). As I stood waiting outside the school, it started to heavily rain. I was jumping around and looking for shelter when I heard the familiar Somali cry "WARYA!". Four guys were sat chewing in a seven seater on the side( ). They called me over and offered me some of the green stuff too (it was the middle of the week!). Every one of them was waiting for his child and our conversation for the next hour and a half revolved around schools, homework, the abilities of various teachers and the UK education system. (I only tell this anecdote to cheer Juxa up).
  20. ^^ Delap is injured. Stoke can't keep the ball (it is not in their nature). Roy's game plan (parking the bus) allows opposition teams to keep the ball (see Chelsea, Blackpool and Wigan). Bolton, Blackburn and Stoke are rubbish at that and this is why I think Liverpool will win. Anyway, what is going on at Chelsea?
  21. Any minute now, Jb is going to start a new thread. It will say something about this coming Tuesday. ** Puts Xiin's Crystal Ball away **
  22. ^^ It wasn't 'dinner' (what are you, a Mancunian?). It was tea, just plain old tea. Anyway, I'm with you on this. Even more so when we consider the topics that inspired it.
  23. ^^ War if you lived in Mexico and spoke Spanish as badly as you speak Arabic, I would still be annoyed.
