The Zack;687815 wrote: Nobody made fun of his accent per se, we were just commenting on his lack of ability to combine two sentences together. Adam made a good point, it had to be the nervousness. On another note, he didn't answer three big questions he was asked. 1. He was asked about the TFG-Saracen agreement, he didn't answer the question. 2. He was asked If Ciid Baddal represents Somalia at the UN or not, he didn't answer that question. He said there is an "ambassador"???? and that he was with him today. 3. He was asked if the government will extend its mandate on August, 2011. He also didn't answer that question. He sounded nervous and scarred in this press conference, he wasn't even sure how many days he was in office. 49 days or 50 days? LOL. I am sure he will do better next time. It's obvious that all three points you raised are problems within the TFG, saaxib. However, when judging his performance here you have to look at how he managed to evade such questions. Did he stumble and make mistakes when answering or did he give the usual diplomatic reply when faced with an uncomfortable question? I think he did well. Furthermore, I see no reason why he needed to reveal anything to the international media here. I'm sure that the "powers that be" will be briefed in private anyway. As for Somalis, dee he'll give them their own press conference in due time.

^^ Dee adigu kubbada ma dhaawatid saaxib. Anichebe & Beckford ayaad ka hadlaysa when these two are strikers yet give Lucas no credit for dropping back and helping out his defence. War the boy played really well and will be an improvement on anything Arsenal have in the middle of that pitch (yes, including Song). Bahasha dhaawo, saaxib. Even Norf and Ayoub have stopped talking rubbish about Lucas now. P.S. By the way, Arsenal's bench is as good as any and should be able to win every game they play in. They just need to calm down and not panic when the first chance they get goes missing.

^^ Dee kubbad waliga ma baranaysid saaxib. Lucas was actually great in that game. Made more tackles and passes than anyone on that pitch. We should have won that game but were caught off guard as we came back from the half time break. But I'm liking the way the team is playing. Edge of your seat stuff. The team that benefited the most from this weekend's results is Chelsea. We all know that Arsenal will sooner or later let things slip and lose to Wolves at home or some such team. We also know that City are not the finished article. United are not likely to finish the season unbeaten. This leaves the Russian scum with a chance to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. I don't care really. We are "interesting" again and that's all that I care about. Walk on, walk on....

Knowing Somalis and how news travels, I don't think this old man will survive in jail. I don't think the woman will survive either.
-
This woman is a thief and is not representative of Somalis as a whole. God knows that we have problems as a community but such thievery is not one of them. Still, four and half years in jail, eh? Bet she gets two cells.

N.O.R.F;687115 wrote: Ngonge, Rafa iska ilow ninyow. He is gone. He won't be back. He is waiting for the City job. Same type of manager. Won't try to win a game after the 60 min mark. The 60 minute mark won him the CL, got him to another CL final, got him second place (which could have been first if one or two games went our way)a nd got him an FA cup in six years at the club. Incidentally, in those six years Arsene didn't win a single thing. If Rafa gets the City job I'd wave bye bye to the PL for years to come. p.s. Watched the game again last night. Kenny is going to attack teams like mad. Heh.

Somali secessionists talking points [South Sudan an all]
NGONGE replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
General Duke;687067 wrote: “That reputable UK daily News journal The Sun had on its third page a long, detailed editorial regarding the case for “Somaliland” as a separate nation in Africa”.. Page three? Anyway, it wasn't the Sun. It were the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and The Economist. P.S. Any news? -
Heh@ Al forum waasac.

nuune, in Abu Dhabi you actually get to hear the athaan now. In Dubai, Sharjah and some of the other cities you still get all the mosques doing it within seconds of each other and, sometimes, it just turns into white noise.

^^ It takes a special kind of nutter to visit a Somali site (and wait for his registration to be confirmed) then write such flaming nonsense, Malika. I don't mind "controversial" topics. In fact, I welcome them and think they fire up argument and occassional debate. This topic is not one of them (well, not until I came here to argue with you of course). We all have been here before and read such rubbish in the past. It goes something like this: A bored kid creates a new user name and decides to wind people up with a hot topic. He/she know that the topics getting the most emotional replies will be ones about women, bad news or the unfairness of the world (I blame you, Juxa and Blessed for mothering these rascals by the way). The thing is, these topics don't require huge brain power. "I'm an eighteen year old middle child who likes to have my own bedroom and privacy. My parents refuse to give me this privacy becuase, years ago, when I was seventeen, I once let my friend through the bedroom window. He is a nice guy whom I trusted and nothing actually ever happened between us but, unfortunatly, on the day that Mom caught us in my bedroom, he was standing very close to me with one hand on my chest (to steady me) and another on the back of my head as he tried to blow out the stuck eyelash from my eye. I think my parents are being real hypocrites because, they told me that in Somalia, in the desert I mean, the nomads used to visit each other's huts late at night and funny things used to happen. My parents said this was normal in nomadic lives but they are two faced and now say it is not normal in our urban life! I love everything to do with Somali culture but I don't love my parents' views. I think they are adopting the backwards and silly aspects of the Somali culture. What do you think and do you beleive privacy is important?" Dee naga daaaya.

Another dullard with a "controversial" topic.
-
Good stuff. Xiin would approve.
-
^^ Rafa inherited an injured Inter team and left that club with his reputation intact. Naga daa dee. Polnyi, Arsenal fans can not talk about Liverpool unless (and until) they match our achievements. For the time being, you are allowed to tease Chelsea fans.

Happy New Year! Finished my year end farsamation. Time to troll.
-
^^ I'd have Rafa back in a flash but Kenny is not bad either.
-
Did you see what Rayan Babel did on Twitter earlier today? :D
-
The spot kick was 50/50 (though most refs would not give it that early in a game). Gerard's tackle was a red card. But it does not matter. The reds are BACK! Even with ten men, Dalglish still encourged them to attack and see what could happen (of course, like I already told Norf, I reckon Rafa would have won this game). Still, Kenny is back and the tactics look positive enough for me. If we batter Blackpool next week I will know for sure if we'll play in the CL next year or not. P.S. See Lucas bossing that midfield all on his own? Carrick who? Anderson what? Fletcher maxay? Only one Lucas, only one Lucas (and it was his birthday too).
-
Now you're making me think I'm losing my mind, Bob. Doesn't everyone have similar thoughts?
-
I am not fat any more, Norf. Since Ramadan I have actually lost two stone in weight.
-
^^ War stop being greedy. Arsenal played really well and if wasn't for Joe Hart's saves they would have easily won that game. They were as clinical and ruthless as they come, saaxib. But that's football. Still, if they keep it up I reckon they will finally win the league (but they will not keep it up, they'll lose to West Ham). Liverpool are five points from the bottom. I HATE Roy Hodgson.

^^ Are you calling me crazy? Bal adigu ii sheeg waxaad ku fekartid markaad train saarantahay (or in a traffic jam).

What did I ever do to you Bob to deserve such an insult warya? One day, the sun, moon and stars will align in such a way that makes it favourable to seek out a minyaro. I am simply waiting for such a day.

Arsenal are four points behind with a game in hand (for United). It's still not over, Bob. I hope Hodgson is sacked tonight (can't wait for tomorrow morning). True Tuujiye, Chelsea need Alex back and a playmaker.
-
He's getting sacked in the morning, sacked in the morning. But I'm not sure who (Hodgson, Ancelloti or Grant). Heh.
-
^^ Man U will not lose many games because "Sir Alex" has half his boys managing teams in the PL, saaxib. Do you expect them to lose to Stoke, Sunderland, Fulham, Birmingham, Blackpool or Wolves? When was the last time they did? Chelsea win the league when Chelsea play well, saaxib. Arsenal also do the same. But United win the league when their rivals do badly. Always has been the case. P.S. We are losing by two goals to Blackburn. Nacala Hodgsonka.......
