Hear the one about Somalis accusing anyone coming back from the west with the phrase "irbad ba lagu muday"? Hadaba in SL kii so noqda ba, irbad SL (or was that asal?) ayaa lago muda. p.s. Aniga la imama mudin, sonkorta uun ayaa la ii badiyaay.

^^ War ma Norf baad rumaysatay? He was watching the game and I wasn't (at the time). The Liverpool team had both Johnson and Kelly starting (both are right backs). I asked him if Johnson was playing on the wing but then my net connection was fine and I saw that Dalglish had decided to play him on the left. Naga daaya dee. P.S. Wenger is buying another defender. Bet he'll be French.

^^ Dee he never ceases to amaze me with his endless fumbling. If he's mad at least his advisors should be sane ninyaho. But they are not. They release a statment saying that they will not deal with the TFG and instead of pointing to some tangible achievements (which undoubtly PL) made, they talk about that recent football tournment. Waa Duke meedhan. War kac ragga wax la qabo intaad Qardho wakhtigaaga ku luminaysa.

So, tell me again, what does this "ideology" you believe in entail? Far be it for me to be the one telling you to support PL and have its interests at heart, saaxib. However, seeing that the wise ones amongst its citizens are not, I thought I might as well do it. Imam Faroole is a danger to your state, saaxib. His kind is great at a time of war but never when a state/country is trying to build and establish itself. Oddly enough, many Somalis used to call Abdullahi Yusuf a war-lover, a soldier and even an agitator but nothing that the man did in his time as PL leader caused him to fallout with so many people in such a short space of time. In fact, he kept the SSC and Makhir crew all nice and patriotic. The mad imam will probably fallout with Djibouti next (or has he already?).<O:p</O:p

I am not talking about the latest "fall out" and this federal argument. I am talking about Faroole's tendency to fall out with EVERYONE. You said above that they don't matter but I say that they do. First of all, they are Somalis and PL claims to be part of Somalia. Secondly, groups such as Atom and the SSC hail from clans that are/were part of PL. Surely, even you with your fanatical support for your action-man Imam can see how counterproductive all this is for the future of PL. Or am I giving you too much credit here?

Sounds like a good meeting. What happend next? Any solid conclusions or plans of action?

^^ The story behind that poem is an interesting one. I used to know it off by heart when I was a kid. Can't remember most of it now. Heh. samonia;688314 wrote: ؟؟ عطيناكي قصيده كامله و ما غرّزتي الا علي دختنوس؟ دختنوس اسم بنت,طال عمرج. يعني مثل سها, نها, مها....

Peace Action;688288 wrote: NG what is getting into you, a murder of Faroole? I know you are trying to be imaginative but this is below the belt and not worthy of you to put in writing. I will come back to list Faroole's success for the past two years, but I wait for your response to take back your Faroole murder victim. Waa markaad sensetive noqotid, saaxib. I'm sure you get my point about the murder mystery without the drama. Faroole may have done some good for PL in his two years in power (not really that hard to be honest) but you can't deny that he has fallen out with EVERYONE. It makes no sense.

Heh. Heh. I'll go home smiling.

Heh. As if you know a single line of a somali song. Naga daa dee.

Heh @ Somali unity.

What do you mean left the mere out? Whose ladho do you think you are now? I'm as good as can be. Just feeling sleepy. Actually, this annoys me a lot lately. I feel sleepy between the hours of five to eight then can't sleep until the early hours of the morning.
-
Hello laddho. How goes it?
-
I know. Thanks.
-
So PL didn't leave the house altogether (like SL), it's just sleeping in the living room!
-
^^ That's what I thought at first but then I remembered that you said you were "daciif" and wondered if that's dacas related.
-
dacaska imagashii? I have no idea what that means but I am also sure you don't want to know the ideas I had going in mind as to the meaning.

He fell out with SL. He fell out with the TFG. He fell out with the ONLF. He fell out with the SSC. He fell out with Atom and Al Shabab doesn't like him. What is it about Imam Faroole and falling out with people? Does he really believe that's how politics works? Imagine if this was a murder mystery and Faroole was the victim. Who done it? I'd say one of those southerners that were loaded on those trucks not long ago.

What kills me about all of this is that Juxa still gets shocked by Somali attitudes.
-
SSC have a good recipe for protest alas, they also have far too many cooks.

Revolution in Tunisia. Which Arab country will be next? Egypt?
NGONGE replied to Libaax-Sankataabte's topic in General
Finally they heard Abu Al Qasim Al Shabbi's words. We were driven mad in school having to memorise his poem about revolutions. For Abu Al Qasim, as luck would have it, was a Tunisian poet. His most famous poem began with the words: اذا الشعب يوما اراد الحياه فلا بد ان يستجيب القدر If the people will to live Providence is destined to favourably respond And night is destined to fold And the chains are certain to be broken And he who has not embraced the love of life Will evaporate in its atmosphere and disappear. How fitting are those words to today's events in that country and how sad that it took a man burning himself to get the people to finally say "enough is enough". In other news, I heard that our Marx, upset at the SL governments decision to increase staff salaries by 100% (he wanted it to be 300%) attempted to light himself up in one of Hargeisa's popular squares but quickly doused himself off when the people starting running away and shouting "Al Shabab..Al Shabab". -
^^ Kuyt played a part in the first goal and scored from the penalty. He made Kelly look good and his first touch is actually not as bad as that of Babel (it's hit and miss mostly). But he played well yesterday, you really can't point a finger at his performance. p.s. Didn't think he played on the wing. I ASKED you if he was. Wax fahan.
