  1. Lailaaay! Lailaaaaaaay lailaaw la la la la law....
  2. ^^ Wa Caleekom Al Salaaam. Delightful only in your office, outside it's grey and depressing. p.s. Caano geel requires wuduu afterwards. What was that phrase about war le ma wadna or something? Dee wax fahma
  3. ^^ Suarez is world class, saaxib. He's just finding his feet at LFC. But I agree with you on our midfield though I believe Adam (he cost only six million, not sixteen) has been good and that Downing has improved in the past three games. The team is new and it's coming together, saaxib. This year, we have played most teams off the park and ended up drawing most games. The daylight robbery that Arsenal committed was our first loss at home all season. Soon something will have to give and we'll start scoring from all those chances we keep on making. It's telling that only City make more chances than we do. Bal imagine this team with a Mata or a Silva in its ranks. Upwards and onwards (and, by the way, we still have a chance for fourth).
  4. ^^ Abeesada jeer bay ku quraacatay, ma jeer ayaa dawo ah? (jimicsiga maxa ku dhacy?) p.s. There is nothing wrong with Maaddeey. He's just trying to confuse me.
  5. One day behind? War is your internal clock faulty? Now watch Xiin pointing and shouting "script, script, script".
  6. ^^ Wa caleekom al Salaam. Haaa Norf, bal look at JB getting angry and talking about mad-habs in Saudi Arabia just to defend his love of camel meat.
  7. ^^ Did you know eating camel meat messes up your wuduu? No wonder I never liked that meat and no wonder Somalis are all angry madmen (and women).
  8. samjamaa;797873 wrote: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somali_Bantu What's your thoughts? Are these people were originally from Mozambique, Tanzania and Malawi? Sounds like you disagree with the Wiki page! Blessed, Juxa and others inanta daaya. She lives in 'carabta' and does not have to worry about your guilt with regards to the mentioned Somalis. In fact, I myself (before reading the rest of the thread and seeing how defensive everyone got) wanted to ask Xaaji X if the Somali Bantu only lived in southern Somalia or can also be found in Somaliland. Wax fahma. Edit: I agree with Bob though. We have to marry her off and I have the perfect man for her. YES, Carafaat. I mean, they both like starting three topics a day and they both love greater Somalia and they're both gurbojoog, etc, etc, etc....
  9. N.O.R.F;799036 wrote: Thats isn't true saxib. It all depends on the individual/family. Length of stay doesn't equate to success. The community does need a collective voice. Why have we not established that collective voice? Why do we have 101 organisations but the media doesn't know who to talk to when something comes up? Step by step, saaxib. The community is still finding its way. We've had a healthy number of people contesting the last elections (even though none of them won). We have a decent number of Somali councellers in many parts of the country and we are scattered across all professions in town. The collective voice you speak of is not going to come from single-mothers or uni students. It'll evolve naturally and I don't think we're that far from hearing it. Though, personally, I would be more in support of 'local' voices. And, even though I have no faith in our local guy (the so called Somaliland respresentative to the UK), I still would not want someone from North London to speak on my behalf.
  10. Salaam all. Maddeey, they ignored you becuase they didn't understand you saaxib. Reer SOL waxanaan ku nacay, when they don't understand a Somali word, they wait for me to come and ask for its meaning. Eeen..eeen..what mean majiirasho please?
  11. Maaddeey, dee naga daa saaxib. Did the man die, have another child or invent a new xizaam naasif? Why did you feel the need to start a thread about his life story here today? Ma waxba dhacay dee?
  12. What was the reason for this thread?
  13. ^^ You see, Duufaan, I don't mind it when you or Liibaan talk nonsense, I really don't. You are simply names on a disucssion forum and you have no weight to speak of (as do I or most of the posters on this site). Now it is very likely that Liibaan is this Osman person (there is a similarity in the stroppy style of writing and endless wailing) however, since he goes by the pen name of Liibaan, I take his words with a pinch of salt. On the other hand, with the real Osman Hasan and the foolish leaders of Khaatumo making him (more or less) their spokesperson, I have to point and laugh. I am willing to stretch the limits of common sense and accept Khadar's argument that THREE presidents is a workable and responsible thing. But, having read Osman Hassan's waffle on more than one occasion, I really can't take this Khaatumo thing that seriously when they give such a job to such a man. Osman's real job should be similar to the Imam's son (not the advisor). He needs to set up a website that is a mouthpiece for the KH government (just like Garowe online is for the Imam and Somaliland.org is for Siilaanyo). The job of "chairman of communication something something" must be given to someone more stately and less rabid than this man (hada if this KH thing would want to be taken seriously).

  15. ^^ It was and it has. Now what do you say about the article? Have you read it?
  16. ^^ Switzerland? Not the mad Osman. Please say he doesn't have such hugh influence in Khaatumo.
  17. ^^ Why didn't Capello pick a Sunday league player instead, my excitable friend? Lucas passes in all directions now that we have movement upfront. Wax fahan. Yes, Fowler signed for Blackpool and Holloway thinks he still has it.
  18. ^^ Again, when the issue is one of 'halgan', decisions can not be taken by committee. There has to be one overall leader. Worse still, if there are three presidents, what is the professor doing talking about Khaatumo as if he's the top dog? War there are some huge holes that need to be ironed out or the entire thing will fizzle out and die. Hada iga maqal.
  19. ^^ Well, he claims to be and it was posted in a Turkish Daily (which is why I confused him with his Turkish equivalant).
  20. ^^ "for now" is no good. Had they chosen one president and dispensed with all the other nonsense wasiiro, I would have been worried and, would, actually advise SL to give them what they want. One voice, one decision and one policy is what usually gets people to sit up and pay attention. But, since they have three presidents and have (shockingly so) given the job of communicator-in-chief to that Osman fellow, I can not, in any reasonable way, view this whole thing as anything but a passing cloud. Too many cooks, adeer. And the waiter that delivers whatever they cook up waa qof waalan.
  21. ^^ Actually, my fault. He was not a Turk, he was a Somali! The TFG is listening, won't you?
  22. General Duke;797794 wrote: I believe your articles as much as I believed your Guru's claim that Somaliland was going to get recognized back in November 2003.. Its all crap, the Turks are a people who by nature hate secession, they have a history of fighting and being cruel to their secessionists enclaves.. Err, it was written by the Turkish ambassador to the United States, saaxib. :D
  23. Xaaji Xunjuf;797789 wrote: NGONGE what do you have against the 3 presidents they all hail from a different subclan it was a good innative to keep the toll united. Three presidents do not mean unity. It means 'compromise', saaxib. When you corner yourself in such a way as the SSC did and give yourself no other way out, the last thing you need is to be making 'compromises' or choosing three presidents. War it was hard enough when Xaglatoosiye was running the show, now the 'halgan' is being done by committee!!!
