  1. I've just the spend the weekend in London and the weather was quite alrightish with a little drizzle every now and then. Though when I left again on Monday, it was seriously shyte...pouring as hell and around mid-noon it was sunny again.

Take a jacket and have an umbrella at all times.

Oh and if you're planning to use the tube, avoid taking any baggage. The stuff I went through, with them wading through my personal stuff...disgusting amounts of security.

    Enjoy your stay

  2. Zephy ...I do have to admit girl, those shoes take my breath away, seriously. It's kinda hard to breathe through your nose when you're mouth is touching the floor whilst gawking at those fine creation... sigh

Araweello and 7....I got a replica of the chloe bag which I never wear. Replica's make you look like a cheap Z lister with Jodi Marsh as a stylist.

P.S. For verification purposes: In case you're sharpening those nails and putting on the vaseline, I'm in no way implying you're cheap or a Z lister

  3. I have just re-read "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte for the 3rd time. I can't get enough of it. I visited the Yorkshire Moors a while back too along with a guided tour of the Bronte's House. It was then when I really started to appreciate and understand the book better.

At the moment I'm just engrossed in Harry Potter and that wonderful fantasy world of his smile.gif .

P.S. Ngonge, glad to see I'm not the only one who reads books online. I've even downloaded "The Alchemist" as an audiobook.

  4. First of all, can I just say how much I hate the word Xalimo and whenever I see someone using it to refer to a girl it makes me sick to the core! It's such a sleazy term that just makes my skin crawl. Akhas!

    UHUM .....moving on

I used to lead the most unhealthy lifestyle of all probably. One time I practically lived on take away and junkfood. It was a choclate bar, some crisps and a soda in the morning and then nothing in the afternoon. For dinner I usually had some kebab from the local TA shop.

However, somehow that all changed. Don't ask me what made it change but, thank god, it did! I do my work out, eat a balanced meal. Lost of fruit and water. I never really had a weight problem since most of my family is naturally slim.

I don't follow any diets either, because I could never keep one up and it's just some sort of scheme to make money out of the people. In my eyes at least.

So looking back I feel much healthier and pysically fit and strong than I felt couple of years back.

Zeph and Word...believe me I've been there, and you might be in a position to refuse to take yur pills, but I remember that my mom literally had to shove them down my throat when I was 12. I used to hide but somehow she always seemed to have spare ones tucked somewhere in her drawers :D .

P.S. Does anyone drink Soya Milk? I absolutely love them!

  5. Let's forget about denim (or even trousers for that matters) for a bit love because this summer (or what's left of it) is all about long, flowing skirts. Say goodbye to your old pair of thrusty jeans and hello to all things ethnic and gold!

I'm just loving these gypsy skirts at the moment and the different styles you can wear them in is endless. You can team them up with tunics and a nice funky belt for day chic, or a sequin top for night. Whatever floats your doon.

Besides, this will probably be the only season when you can buy nice looking skirts that aren't too short or too tight and will fit around your waist and bottoms nicely ;)

As for Accessories, I love the metallic look for bags especially for nights out or totebags by day (mind you I need to stop putting the whole of my room inside them :D ).

P.S. Sorry for going a bit off topic.

  6. I have read somewhere Harry Potter dies in this book.

I have also read somewhere else that He Who Must Not Be Named was actually gay and had a secret crush on Harry's dad and couldn't stand it that he choose Lilly over him and this will all be revealed in the final book....Honestly the things that people come up with. Cajiib!

Xu, I knew you were one of my fav girls for a reason! Actually Voldemort's threat seemed much bigger in the 5th book, remember how the last chapter started...

Oh, and my money is on Harry getting together with Ginny

Aww... I had him actually pictured with Moaning Myrtle icon_razz.gif ...However I think the couple to watch will be Ron and Hermoine wink wink

    Somerican,

Even hindi movies??? Me and you are not exactley scoring high on the compatibility charts are we? Ah well, I'm sure somewhere out there, there's a guy for me who likes playing tag merrily around a tree whilst singing badda cas...

  7. FINALLY!!

It's so far again, the sixth edition of the Harry Potter books is out tomorow.

Just wanted to create a special thread for this awesome bit of news. Harry Potter fans report yourselves! (that includes the undercover ones too) icon_razz.gif

I've pre-orderd mine and I'll sacrifice my beauty sleep just so I can meet the post man at the door :D

  8. sexy lingerie?

god, could there be anything more uncomfortable? It's itchy and it gets into places that it's not meant to be in...ya raba habeenko dhan inuu wax iska soo jiido ama adjust gareeyo when you just wanna have a good nights sleep?

However, I do put some vaseline on my lips before I go to sleep. I hate waking up with lips looking like they've done 7 rounds with Mike Tyson.

So Hibo sis, where do you find the time to do all that night in night out?

  9. By now cold sweat dripped down my spine, travelling all the way down to my left leg, leaving a trail of clammy wetness. As I looked down to see whether I had wetted myself out of pure fright, the spectre like figure made a sudden movement that jolted me back to my senses. For a moment I just stood there, staring, fearing if I let out a single breath it could just as well be my last.

  10. Suddenly a creaking noise came from the top of the stairs which was engulfed in total darkness. My heart started pounding in my chest whilst hearing faintly the dripping of my vanilla icream which by now had started to melt.

I debated in my mind whether I should creep up the stairs and knock the stuffing out of whoever or run back to my icecream and sit quietly in a closet somewhere...

  11. I don't wear my glasses because I loathe them with a passion...you would too if you saw them...round shape with black rimmed frame. And I don't want contacts since I'll probably poke my whole eye inwards trying to get them in.

So now I'm going blind, So bad that people have started complaining that I ignore them on the street. I keep saying I didn't see them (which I didn't), but after a while it's starts to sound like a badly rehearsed excuse

    ah well

  12. Like...Oh My GAWD....how could I have missed this?? shrieks!

Na hooy, maandheey, inanta, heblaayo, gabar... Happy (very, very late) Birthday to you. Hope you didn't pass out while blowing out all those candles on your cake icon_razz.gif
