  1. Xishood- You can say whatever, this the land of the free where everyone is able to express their opinion. I have not targeted a specific qabiil. Caydiid is not my idol, infact i despise him. I'm trying to make a point, but as soon as ppl see the word qabiil they tent to forget about the rest. Read what i wrote first and respond appropriately, don't just go with the flow and attack me cuz everyone else seems to be doing it. HAVE A MIND OF YOUR OWN!
  2. Maskiin- aboowe you're fuming like a jalamad, you need to chill. Again I didn't say anything about qabiil, i said "danyar" eat canbuulo. The word means poor ppl.I can't help it if certain qabiils were poor back home nor can i change the past. FYI: our whole culture and heritage is based on qabiil, go back to our history.
  3. Xishood- your name contradicts your message and you sound like you belong in Jerry Springer's show. Libaax-sankataabte- Thanks, you make sense. Maskiin- don't go all sensitive on me brother. I said i wouldn't marry outside my qabiil, not i hate other qabiils or won't deal with ppl of other qabiils. Let me make my point clear, there is a lot of ignorance in the world and qabiil is one of them. I'm not neccessarily one who believes in qabiil, but because I don't want to have to choose between my husband and my family and vise versa. Ultimately i don't want my children to be torn betweem two qabiils. For example bi-racial children are not good enough for the black race or the white, so they often deal with identity crisis. Rather than fighting qabiil to the fullest, i choose to take easy way out, which is not marrying someone of a different qabiil. That may be a weakness on my part, but atleast i'm honest. There a lot of ppl who are "closet qabiileystayaal" in this forum, but they choose not to say anything.I tell it like it is.

  6. Isii-sisinta, please avoid personal attacks and foul language. Thank You Somalia Online Team ----------------------------------- Hibo you go girl. MrJibriil- you really need to pay attention, you're stuck one word "bulaacad" it's just an adjective that describes how offensive the smell is. I never said i hate my ppl, I said some of Somalis stink really bad and therefore; an embarrasment to the rest of us. Naasir- ********DELETED************ Aplus- What is so filthy about anything i'm saying. You're just not use to a woman who can speak her mind, not giving a damn about what others think. I tell it like it is, there is not a single lie, in what i write. [This message has been edited by Admin (edited 04-05-2002).]

  10. Abdu-moti- I'll ask you a personal question, okay how in the hell did you end up in China or cambodia? do you speak any of their languages? This is the first time i've had a contact with a Somali living in China. What do you eat then?

  14. Hibo- I hear you're an expert. I like this song called "hooyo" can you tell me the lyrics to that. It goes little something like this: Hooyo, hooyo nuuraay hooyooy hooya nuuraay kashka iyo laabtiyo araxda igu qaadaay DON'T KNOW THE REST janadii udgoonayd, eebe ha inooga furo albaabada can you finish this one please or anyone who knows it
  15. Maskiin- Aboowe is qabooji yaah, maybe i toughed the wrong button. Were you dissed by a girl cuz of your qabiil. You live in the "brady bunch" world where everything is nice and dandi. Well my brother the real world has qabiilo and qolo, qolo that don't like each other. Why do i need to marry outside my ppl and mess-up my childrens future, where they are not good enough for my inlaws and not good enough for my side of the family. Why expose them to that hassle, life isn't fair as is and they don't need anymore.

  17. Oh my god Libaax-sankataabte. That was so hillarious, so now the beast is dead cuz of rat poison. Good strategy! Anyway we Somalis aren't perfect and we definately need to adderess the issues and flaws. For example this what else i don't like about our culture: Dumaal(this is when a husband dies, his brother can marry his wife, with or without her consent) Four wifes(without following the rules indicated by the religion) Arranged marriage and how a 96 year old man can marry a 15 year old (that shit aint fair) Sooryo(this is the money given to the womans clan when ppl get married)whatta hell how often do you see your clan..like never. But when there is sooryo about to be given everybody shows up. When a child is born, how fathers get upset if they have a daughter. Daughters end up taking care of them, when their sons deserted them for another woman perhaps. I'm right or wrong yo'all? speak on it.
  18. Hey, hey Canbuulo danyarta lee cunto. My parents would kill me if they saw me eating canbuulo. Maybe it is region thing cuz i don't remember dugsi serving canbuulo. Maskiin-macruuf-aqyaar, your name says it all "maskiin". Remember when you use to knock on our door and say "magan alla magan rasuul" how the hell can you afford sisin. You use to rock them shoes made of TIRES and you had a liitle dhoor.
  19. Naasir- You said English isn't our first language, apperantly Soomaali isn't either what the hell is "soco maakaal alla kaa dhinge" Please write in whatever language you're fluent in don't write bunch of jibrish
  20. Cartanoow ina adeer dee sheekadii xagaad ula gambisatay. Mida kale waxaan u baahanahay inaan dhalinyarada Soomaaliyeed ku soo guubaabino inay af Somaali qoraan. Hadee hadal badani haan ma buuxshee, sheeg sheekada. Hadii kalana nugu kala jiid meesha, waa ku sidee.

  22. Thank you Hibo- Unlike some people i read the topic before i could reply. man give a damn break ...don't talk bad about Somalis. The frigin topic says what do you hate about Somalis. Ama say this again "some" Somalis stare and stink, yes damn right they stink. By the way I don't have any problem with "uunsi", I just don't like FUNK mixed with uunsi. FYI: I only feel comfertable talking about Somalis and their flaws infront of other Somalis ONLY. I wouldn't dare disrespect my ppl infront other, Cadaan, madoow, etc.
  23. Hibo, hakabo banaansheed nope, but I know the "dajisa"
  24. Soul_lady- Don't make me turn this into "cross fire" Don't trip cuz you lack the ability to pay attention to detail. Go back and read what i wrote aight. By the way you still need to loosen up cuz i wasn't even attacking you.
