  1. Oodweyne, if you look at the post that Xaji used to start this thread and than you look at Cowke's posts...you'll see one has a far stronger argument! Maybe Garaad Soofe said this, however the pictures that Cowke has presented show a huge delegation! Anyways it seems a tide is forming in that region, we will have to continue to watch this!
  2. Nice pics, keep the info coming Cowke! The secessionists are desperate so they post unreliable nonsense news and comment on it as if it is fact!
  3. I wonder if the ballot boxes will come here.
  4. So he hasn't gone to those places in 3 years, because since habsaade changed sides in lascaanod he never has? And you are bragging he mugged us?
  5. Riyaale, hasn't even visited Lascaanood since he was chased out! Let's see if he visits during the campaign, me and JB have a friendly! I doubt he will, too scared.
  6. Mansa Munsa we all have people that we support and think highly of and there's nothing wrong with that! I believe everyone should have an oppurtunity to lead and no particular side should be held in higher regard! Hope this SPR is successful! Anyways, i've voiced my opinion on the thread!
  7. Mansa Munsa, I am not sure if you were one of them, but the same people who are talking about Puntland this and Puntland that today...were not to long ago claiming they were no longer part of the state. Because of old rivalries and other issues! All our governnments had people that opposed them even on SOL, AY, Cade and now Faroole! But no one else said we are breaking away because they were disgruntled! Mansa Munsa I will forgive them for supporting secessionism a short time ago!!!
  8. Che-Guevara, , that was a good one! General i'm making perfect sense! I just don't see these guys ever promoting Puntland or anyone else outside Maakhir and it seems to be only themselves and not just this thread but many!!! Plus, they supported breaking away from Puntland when they didnt get their way! Even though no one in Puntland ever even heard they wanted to, it was something made up by the Diaspora! Anyway, thats all I have to say!
  9. Originally posted by Nassir: Samafal, no need to be famous, however I'll just give you a brief bio of him. Mr. Salah is a highly educated brother. A professional Auditor and a family man who currently resides in Minneapolis, he founded DhaharOnline and made its coverage of new events, editorials and commentaries very active, relevant and reliable site after a long absence of such a crucial role for the Sanaag communities. And now he is about to give to the community a much-needed service: Somalia's first Public Radio. Just get Dhahar working before you focus on SPR!
  10. Originally posted by Xudeedi: Adeer, the thread was created by a non-Makhiri and has received the support of all Puntlanders in SOL. What sets you aside is very obvious and thus Mr.Donyale wont pause for no female trait (jeolosy and envy). The Land Cruiser aint stopping untill the wheels fall off. Xudeedi, the thread was made by a person who is not from maakhir, however the ridiculous bragging comes from one side!! The guys doing big things, you don’t need to over emphasize it! P.S all this female traits and insults are typical of a person who can not intellectually dispute something such as the fact that Dhahar.com is nothing to brag about since it is the only site I’ve come across that is infected and still isn't fixed!! Then again, maybe it was created for that purpose, to steal info? I am not sure. Nonetheless, I will not resort to immature name calling! But I guess name calling is a defense mechanism when someone's pride's been hurt!
  11. Am I the only one that questioned the source, especially when it come from JB? He or one of the NW Somali sites might have written it!
  12. The guy is educated, no one can deny that! He wants to embark on a huge task, which is good for the people. But we understand you guys from Maakhir want to promote the guy and shove it down our throat with comments like "Mr. Salah is a highly educated brother", "Mr. Doonyaale is a self-made man, a role model, and an educated man", Mr. Saalax Nuur Saalax Donyale is a hero to many Somali's and Puntlanders"....but i'm just saying let the pictures and his accomplishments do the talking and show a little humility! Once this Somali Public Radio is accomplsihed than promote him and the work! But right now Dhahar.com is a failure, the only site i've ever come across that my virus protection blocks and warns me of a Trojan Virus! No matter where i've visited, nothing has been blocked but Dhahar.com!!!
  13. Well, it's the only site that I have ever visited that my virus protection blocked! Hope it gets fixed! I wish him the best in his trip! Just let's not exaggerate things! P.S why won't the convoy go to Gaalkayo?
  14. Libaahe*, I think there is a huge leadership vacuum in some area's and people are desperate to fill them.
  15. Xudeedi, Ok, written by "brothers." Is he not the owner of the site and founder as Nassir stated? Look I am just saying that it seems that every single article that you posted by his 'family'or those associated with him use the clan card. Accusing the PIS, former admin, NW Somalia and even the UN Security report of having this clan motive whenever someone from his region is criticized or a criminal is arrested. Yes the articles are upsetting because they dont seem like they are written by people with a lot of education, which makes it hard to believe the owner of a website and who holds masters is associated with this kind of garbage. I agree that he is recieving a huge welcome in his area's and by his picture ilko-jiir says more. For instance the three articles you showed all have the same theme: 1. Bryden's secessionist cronies, made up of clan chauvinists were alarmed and threatened by both the increasing popularity of the Interior Minister Ilka Jiir and efforts of the administration pertaining to the Sanaag region. Bryden and his in-laws again suggest in case study 3 in the same report: 2. However, its autonomous history above, Puntland had transformed from a utopian vision to a clan enclave driven by SSDF power ambitions. 3. The makeup of the new police and army was predominantly *****ten, to be precise from the subclans of Mohamoud Saleban (sub-clans). Of course this is well written to you, but I assure you none of the respected sites write nonesense articles like this! I wish I could go on Dhahar and show you more, but my virus protection blocks it due to a trojan virus!
  16. We need someone that can unite everyone, who can draw crowds from all sectors of society and is seen as a influential role model throughout the different towns and cities, not just their own area. Salah N. Donyale has written many articles that seem to have the same theme of using the clan card as an argument everytime. He will speak against other groups, but when it comes to his side like Ilko-Jiir he is a staunch supporter that defends him tooth and nail. No matter how strong the evidence is! I rarely see any of Puntland other big websites making clan accusations when criticized like Salah does. He is definitely a role model to a portion of society and I have no doubt this new public radio station will be used to promote his agenda. What he is doing is good, but I am not a fame of some of his articles and the excuses he uses.
  17. Libaax-Sankataabte, it's interesting because this is the first and only site that has ever been blocked by the virus protection. I had visited many sites and was starting to think maybe it wasn't even working until I went to Dhahar.com. Hopefully the owners of the site read SOL and hear about the virus. Anyways thanks for showing me the website where I could download the virus portection.
  18. Libaax-Sankataabte, I downloaded the virus protection that you recommended a couple weeks back, and it's weird Dhahar.com is the first site that is actually blocked for having a trojan horse! Is anyone else getting it?
  19. Ilko-Jiir came in second place and lost to someone who himself had lost the elections before that. Even though their methods were criminal, they were still able to run for pres! Something I dont see happening in NW Somalia's election. Where certain sides are shut out, while others have all the cards stacked in their favor.
  20. Africanown, do you think there should be people from Sool and Sanaag running for the top spot and why dont you think there are any?
  21. Africanown Lol, if they don't rule anything how did they become leaders of the only opposition groups? I don't see the representation in those running, it seems it is stacked in one sides favor. However, Riyaale does use his side well in threatening to bring out the blue Somalia flag if they dont get their way!
  22. African Own, of course you should, both opposition parties are from the same family, and even the vice-president right now is from that family. So it's rigged to make sure that they will always be 1 or 2! No reer Sool, no reer Sanaag!
  23. Cowke, well it's quite obvious that Bosasso's port would be number one. There is no way that Mogadishu and Kismayo will have a high volume of ships coming in, considering the violence there and the group that is in control! NW Somalia's port in Bebera charges a high fee from what I hear! This video has a lot of informative stuff, especially regarding Puntlands generosity to IDP's!
  24. Cowke, So the Puntland government didn't build the Water Treatment Project?? Because at 1:20, she says that it was constructed with Unicef and the European Union support? Even on the wall at 1:00 it only has the EU and Unicef flags as the builders and says supported by Unicef, funded by EU? Yet, no mention of the Puntland governments involvement!
