Salaamz folks, Man I'm like Conspiracy, I hate horror lakiin I'm making a mental note to see the Japanese version , make duca for me folks. Supuu has it ever occured to you that movies change constantly, so every film review is different Hey on the topic of Horror, I heard there's like this film thats considered "The" scariest movie made. I mean apparently people actually fainted or threw up when they were watching it, and in some places it was banned...(like Australia, where I live) has anyone heard of this? I forgot what its called. And to all the Star Wars freaks what the hell is wrong with you people. I don't get what all the fuss is about. I've never sat through one of those movies, heck if its got anything to do with aliens I wont watch it. Aliens kulahaa eeew  thats like soooooo lame. Oh well each to their own i guess. But still very strange to me wasalaam

Its been awhile since I visited the big screens so this evening I bugged my couzin to come to the movies with me. I wasnt sure what I wanted to see but we ended up seeing the RING 2.... . The reason I'm online now is I'm still too jumpy to sleep. Damn every time I close my eyes I see that chick with the long hair, especially that bit when she's climbing up the well I think Im going to give horror movies the flick for while . Those of you who like your horror see it. I give it 9/10, considering it did make me jump through out the entire movie. I watched a dodgy copy of HITCHED...it was ok lakiin like other Will Smith movies theres always a big hype and then you realise its not all dat. Ray (pirated copy) was great. kinda long tho. I'm also thinking about taking my couzins to see either THE PACIFIER with vin diesil, or ROBOTS. Let me know some of your reviews. wasalaam.

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Animal rescue workers on Tuesday released about 100 birds that were treated for shock and concussions after crashing into an office building's windows last week. The birds, cedar waxwings, were released Tuesday at the Honeywell wildlife refuge near Irmo. About 30 birds remain with Carolina Wildlife Care. Last week, the birds, intoxicated on holly berries, became confused and crashed into the windows. Hundreds of birds were injured, and about half of them died. Joanna Weitzel, executive director of the nonprofit group of volunteers, said it was important to release the birds quickly because they are in the middle of migrating. "They flew straight up into the nearest tree canopy," she said. "They stayed in their flock." Weitzel said she did not know when the remaining birds would be released but said the group plans to release them together.

Asalaamu'Calaykum, Sheeesh don't remind me of the word ratio I feel like I'm back in research class Where did you gain your statistics? Talk about an active member of you Uni. You know I don't have ANY Somali's where im am at the moment  We'll i just started there and im yet to see any. No sistas or any sign of my brothas . The uni I was stationed at last year had a fair few. I find the guys to be a distraction, they always chasing one of us  . Having my Somali sister around is great though, it nice being amoungst fellow muslimahs. In my case and in my current situation I wish for representation for more females and males too (might find Mr Right ) -
Asalaamu'Calaykum, I agree with Diamante LUSH have the best products. I've tried Imperialis and just loved it. Have you tried their bath bombs  Now let me tell you I'm not the bath type (actually I never take bathes, dont have the time to) lakiin one day I decided to get one and indulge myself. I loved it. Walahi your skin feel sooooooo good afterwards. Another great thing about LUSH is that you know its made out of real stuff with out the chemicals. When you go in to there store the masks are all in this freezer thingie and when you get home you gotta keep it in the freezer then too (now thats got to tell you somerthing) It feels great on the skin too. They have a range of cool soaps aswell as the usual moistorisers and body cream for all skin types. They even have Shampoo and i think perfumes. Check them out www.lush.com Brown-brotha I didnt think Somali men were that hairy  its mainly the wogs with the hair problems. How disturbing

LEOMINSTER, Mass. - It came from the friendly skies, and caused quite a bit of damage. advertisement Frozen waste from a jet’s toilet smashed onto a woman’s car last week, crushing part of the roof and shattering the windshield. A Massachusetts woman says no one is willing to help her pay for the repairs, or take responsibility. Nina Gambone says federal aviation officials determined the chunk of frozen debris came from a jet’s lavatory. But, a spokesman says they can’t do anything unless it can identify the airline responsible. Gambone says she called her fire department in Leominster, which says they can’t remove the glob because it is classified as hazardous waste. The only good news is the woman and her 13-year-old son had just left the car before it was hit.

Asalaamu'alaykum, G'Day folks I’m glade you guys liked the post. I decided we should put a little segment on real issues and so I picked health. The deal is once in awhile (if I have the time) I will try and post some beneficial facts surrounding these topics. You can save me the trouble by also adding a few of your own articles to the thread. I thought this article was great because the writer was so blunt about what isn't good for us, which I think some of you guys had trouble swallowing lol...ie LayZieGirl. Sista if you like them so much keep at it. But just keep in mind what it’s made out of and try some fruits next time instead. Velvet why is it so many people are addicted to coke and Pepsi? You know some people actually use coke to clean their toilets? But yet still especially us Somali’s have a weak spot for fizzy drinks. I myself am trying to kick that habit. Raula, you and action man here sound like the healthiest ones in here masha’allah and your right diabetes, blood pressure and cholesterol are becoming a big problem for Somali’s. Chauv have you noticed everything that tastes nice is mostly fried, full of fat and is not good for us. Juba I think the next article will be on what we “can†eat. What do you think? I’ll start looking. Besbaso, I looooove chocolate man. So I’m glade it wasn’t on the list. Sheyham, I just got back from there…you know the whole time I was drinking my white Chocolate mocha I was thinking about the caffeine, sugar, whipped cream and overall fat I was consuming… eventually I had to stop thinking that way coz I almost gaged on my beautiful drink. As for the price think it is a little expensive but then again so is everything else. Plus I’m not a huge starbucks fan, but my regular well priced joint was closed. Femme WHY!!!! This is ment to be a health inspiring post and you just put up the biggest temptation with that chocolate cake missie. now i'm going to dream about that cake tonight Adios Amigos wasalaam

The 10 Worst Snack Foods Snack food in America seems to become more horrible with every passing year. Here's my list of the worst snack foods of all time. (But be forewarned: This list could become outdated the minute the food industry introduces yet another must-have concoction of sugar, chemicals, coloring and grease to add pounds to your waistline while adding nothing to your nutrition.) 1. French Fries Don't be reassured by the fact that McDonald's is changing its cooking oil. French fries are still starchy white potatoes cooked in hot fat and flavored with chemicals and sugar. Possibly the worst snack food on the planet. 2. Donuts Fried bread. Need I say more? And if that wasn't bad enough, add a sugary cream filling and a glaze of more sugar on top. Any questions? 3. Chips (Potato or Corn) These are really just a packaged version of French fries (see #1). However, you can do damage control on this one by switching to baked blue corn chips, available in health food stores. It's still not real food, but it beats the 7-Eleven version any day. 4. Soda And sorry, this includes the diet kind. Absolutely nothing of any value here, and a whole lot of chemicals to boot. 5. Cupcakes and Snack Cakes The creamy filling is fake whipped cream, and the rest of it is sugar, flour and flavoring. You've gotta be kidding. 6. Candy Bars You might squeeze a gram or two of protein out of the nuts in some of them, but by and large they're a sugar orgy and a nutrition nightmare. Again, you can move slightly up the food chain by switching to one of the "energy" bars. Most are just candy bars disguised as health food but they often have 1/3 less calories, quite a bit more protein and a bit less fat. Don't confuse them with real food though. 7. Pork Rinds Fried pork skin. Not a good thing. I don't believe that one will be a problem for us 8. Fat-Free Cookies These are even more insidious because they pretend to be healthy. Remember, fat-free doesn't equal calorie free. Betcha can't eat just one! 9. Crackers Trans-fats anyone? Most crackers are loaded with 'em. Read your labels carefully to find the few that aren't. 10. Pretzels Surprise, surprise. Remember, just because something doesn't have fat doesn't make it good. This is just white flour, water and sugar masquerading as a healthy snack. Fuggedaboutit. Runner up: Those creamy, carmelly, coconutty coffee mocha-latte-frappe drinks that are taking over the universe. I love my Starbucks too, but 20 ounces of caffeine, sugar, whipped cream and milk taken once or twice a day does not a lean waistline make! And yes, the calories you drink count.

Salaamz, Yes very good read indeed. Its amazing how everything becomes accepted and "cool" just because a few people started doing it. Its discusting and immoral that the whole concept and theory that "sex sells" is the sad reality of our time. Soon we might see *Chauvinist* getting his *** swiped by another oiled down man in a runchy video clip...Pimping chauv...live man 2 man action  *yuck* seems like anything's possible hell being gay is cool now a days with shows like queer eye. Have you noticed that now adays you have those fagie gay guys working in womens stores  i went lingerie shopping awhile ago and there was this guy there i was looking around and he comes up to me and asks if i need a hand with the sizes  whats the world comming to. Hmm i think i've wondered off the topic. anyway Down to Pimping! Thanks again valvet darlz.

One day a lawyer was riding in his limosine when he saw a guy eating grass He told the driver to stop. He got out and asked him, "Why are you eating grass". The man replied, "I'm so poor, I can't afford a thing to eat." So the layer said, "Poor guy, come back to my house." The guys then said, "But I have a wife and three kids." The layers told him to bring them along. When they were all in the car, the poor man said, "Thanks for taking us back to your house, it is so kind of you." The layer said, "You're going to love it there, the grass is a foot tall."

The difference between the Muslim who drinks khamr, while admitting he is committing a sin, and asking Allah to guide him, and between the Muslim who drinks khamr, while justifying the action, and arguing that it is not haraam to do so, is pretty much like the difference between the sin of Adam (pbuh) and the sin of Iblees (cuh!). The first sinned, but admitted his sin and submissively asked Allah for forgiveness, while the second argued and argued in attempts to justify his disobedience. Rather than using his intellect in finding ways to please Allah, he used it to argue His rulings. For this, the first was forgiven, and the second was cursed and deemed to hell forever. Sinning is NOT the end of the world, so long we admit, repent and work on correcting our actions during our lives. Arrogance is. The prophet (pbuh) once said: "he who has an atom weight of Kibr (arrogance) in his heart shall not enter paradise." A man asked: "but one likes to look good and dress good." The prophet (pbuh) replied: "[This is not arrogance], Allah is beautiful, and He loves beauty. Arrogance is refusing the Truth and belittling people." Reported in Muslim, At-Tirmidzy, Ahmad and Abu Dawoud
