One day a professor decided to give his students a quiz. So he picked up a chair, set it on his desk, and told his class they had write a paper convincing the professor on why the chair doesn't exist. Once the assignment was given, all the students started on their essays except for one student who simply wrote no more than one sentence before turning in his paper. As the student turned in his work and left, the professor, confused, looked at the paper which said nothing more than, "What chair?" Absolutely brilliant, I wouldn't dare to do that, but nevertheless funny

A precious little girl walks into a pet shop and asks in the sweetest little lisp, "Excuthe me, mithter, do you keep widdle wabbits?" As the shopkeeper's heart melts, he gets down on his knees, so that he's on her level, and asks, "Do you want a widdle white wabby or a thoft and fuwwy bwack wabby or maybe one like that cute widdle bwown wabby over there?" She, in turn blushes, rocks on her heels, puts her hands on her knees, leans forward and says in a quiet voice, "I don't fink my pet python weally gives a thit." hahaha, you gotta love the girl

I got pulled over the other day and the cop told me to keep an eye on my speed. I was really thankful, I didn't notice it was falling out of my pocket.
  6. Atleast she's trying innit, I can't say that from you Sir Jaad.
  7. You amaze me Nuune! Waan kaa yaabay, but in a sort of fascinated way.
  8. Looll, I think I'm just gonna pay for it unless I find a better alternative. Try LiveProfile. It works on BB. It's like Whatsapp and but this one is definitely 100% free. I might try that one some other time.
  9. True. First year is free. Then it's 1.99 a year. Which is reasonable for a whole year.

None of my contacts have it, so I'll just wait a few months till it gets improved and fixed. It's supposedly better than whatsapp, I disagree. Maybe I got too used to whatsapp. lol
  12. Hellooo dear Solers, I've found another interesting blog. The story of a young female Somali on her journey to find love and the obstacles she has to over come to not only prove her family, her friends, but most importantly herself wrong, in her quest to eradicate the prejudices and negativity that comes with marrying outside of her Somali culture. I've read chapter One so far. I like the topic of inter-racial marriages. Can't say the writing is as good as the blogger from ''Diary of A Xalimo'', but I'm drawn to this topic. Let's see if she can deliver! Link: http://hoyoknowsbest.blogspot.com/2011/04/chapter-1.html#more Cheers!
  13. Thanks for the replies girlies!! @ Aaliyyah: that's true, it is a challenge! I'm just considering the options at the moment. @ Malika: Your sister in law sounds like a true inspiration! Masha'Allah. @ Juxa: I know lieverd. I'm not assuming that I'll have children. Insha'Allah. I'm just wondering if a child will get all the attention it needs if you're also studying? Cheers!
  14. Thanks Naxar And yeah Heaven sent is also very nice. Loooll, Aaliyyah, not your thing maybe. JB: Press Play, it's even more nice when you hear her lol . She's very beautiful though, minus the tattoos.
  15. ^I like that one as well. But my favourite of her is: Trust ft. Monica. I love this one from OneRepublic, a real feel good song
  16. Lool, why JB of all people? And I know for a fact that JB does not have Tango. Tango is not on BB yet. Lol.
  17. Looll, yeah you’re right. It does contradict a bit with the whole idea of wearing hijab. But you don’t have to make a braid; you can leave that out, still looks very nice indeed. Two pieces of scarf may seem a bit too heavy to wear at hot days, but if you try light weight hijabs, it really isn't that bad. lol. The girl in the video likes to use scarfs that are patterned. Which is nice. But I'm not really into patterned scarfs. I've tried it with two plain scarfs that were two different shades of green. It looked really nice, if I may say so myself lol.
  18. I use LookOut, very nice. As for Tango, lol none of my contacts has it. Friendless there. Need to force someone to download it, so I can see how it works. Will let you know how that went, Zack.
  19. I actually understood it perfectly. Enjoyed reading it!! My cousins and their mum are asharaaf, and they talk like that. Lol.
  20. If it didn't automatically show your whatsapp contacts, try refreshing. Worked for me.
  21. I've been using whatsapp for months now, can't go a day without it, especially with friends abroad. @Zack, try it out dude. In return, I've downloaded Tango, see how that works lol Looll @ JB: walaal, why don't YOU hit me with YOUR number?

She's beautiful and I love her skin tone, yet she begs to differ. What is children giving this ideology that being white is better? That being white means you're prettier? Anyways like Val said, no-one can put you down unless you allow them to.
