  1. DDT wiped entire wildlife in Somalia.
  2. Subxaanallah! - I am truly shocked by this story even more so by Alpha addition of insult to injury. Ibtisam – Hope you are well walaalo – I must say your handling of the situation is to be commended and should be an example for law abiding citizens. Having said that I don’t think two days in jail even by the standards of Somali jails is in line with this guy’s punishment unless it included fines or other measures. "Let the punishment fit the crime" principle requires that the level of punishment be scaled relative to the severity of the offending behaviour. However, this does not mean that the punishment has to be equivalent to the crime. So for all those calling for the guy to meet some sort of rough justice are either simpletons ruled by emotions or simple cannot see beyond their nose. Furthermore, this perpetrator actions and behaviour highlights the need for Medical Board independent of politics and clans and has teeth to protect the general public from unscrupulous individuals such as the this guy described here.

  4. Qardho has two fortresses/castle - one build was build in 1907 and still serves as police station (the one's picture you posted. The second was more of castle was destroyed - it is now the home of Boqor and looks like a normal house. It was built sometime in 19 century - destroyed in 20th century - and final blow was dealt to it by floods. Hope that helps.

As for the timing, I believe it to be perfect. What better time to reveal such news than when the Somalis are sitting down and planning how the next stage in Somalia’s development should look like! Already done: Abdirizak Fartaag , a former public finance official in Somalia , reported last year there was evidence that officials in Mogadishu had mismanaged funds.

They don't want to settle, just a quick in and out job. Self financing, off course. I didn't think it was possible, laakin dadba ka waalaya. Blessed - did this for my mother recently - and i am not a wealthy Somali - I did this via medical insurance., (thanks to be ibti i may add for valuable advice and of course dumaashi juxa)

  18. ^See what happens when I actually slow down for you - you begin to catch up (not that you fully get there )
  19. ^^Alright I'll slow do for you and break it down I am looking at the whole picture, when it was taken, where it was taken, who took the picture and more imprtantly what it represents (that is including the text underneath pictures) and finally the title of the pictures as they appear in FO along with Tehran, Kabul and why they appear now. unlike you - I am not discounting anything. I wonder why you didn't include in the collection as it appears in FO - the picture of the soldiers enjoying themselves in lido beach - if as you say 'you only see the sandy beach'. ? p.s. - it wouldn't suprise me if he did - since he also enjoys 'noble savage porn'

  21. Those pictures of Mogadishu looking pristine are nice - but it is what they represent rather than how they look saxiib that matter here - or i am being too fast for you again
