I had bad teachers as well Ngonge!

done by members of the teaching staff You are kidding right?, no wonder kids can hardly speak/ write and understand English these days  On a serious note, I don't agree with him, but I don't agree with handouts, and these charities (some) are contributing to poverty by making them dependent rather than self sufficient, hence the whole new focus on sustainability etc. ME, me, and my country is a morally corrupt way to bring up kids, and I know for sure that people send their kids to school to learn and develop their own mental capability to critically look at the world, not to be forced to hear the angry opinions of their teachers, who wishes to indoctrinate his twisted vision of the world. Can you report him Kahina? Teachers are not their to making up your mind, but rather help you explore the options.

^^ Perfectly said. Khayr: Listen to Sh. Mustafa Xaji Islmaciils tasfeer (1999) for Surah Al Mutaffafin. I don’t do modern or old interpretations of Islam and I hope I will never join the kind of people who exploit religion to suit their life style. People there is no poitn arguing about this, Islam is not a black and white as somepeople try to make out, whereby people are either free of sin, or condemned to go to Hell. Although you might find it hard to believe, there are gray areas: Firstly repentance, and how can I forget, there is Allah who is Most Gracious, Most Merciful, and who knows our fate. No one should try to condemn and judge people based on what we do not know. Verse 5:48 states, “For each of you, we have decreed laws and different rights. Had God willed, He could have made you one congregation. But He thus puts you to the test through the revelations He has given each of you. You shall compete in righteousness.” So Allah gave us differences so that we may choose and have a choice in the way we lead our lives, each one us will make the choice they think is correct because in the Hereafter we will be our own judges, “The human being will be his own judge. No excuses will be accepted.” 75:14-15: It has been said that we should judge others in the manner that we will want to be judged yourself. Judging people based on their dress, their religion, or appearances rather than their individual beliefs and actions is prejudice. Finally: O you who believe, you should worry only about your own necks. If the others go astray, they cannot hurt you, as long as you are guided. To God is your ultimate destiny, all of you, then He will inform you of everything you had done. (5:105) No soul bears the sins of any other soul. Ultimately, to your Lord is your return, then He will inform you of everything you had done. He is fully aware of the innermost thoughts. (39:7) so the You guys can rest and leave people to Allah. It is not our role to judge or condemn people for their actions. Verse 7:2 states, “This scripture has been revealed to you, you shall not harbor doubt about it in your heartthat you may warn with it, and to provide a reminder for the believers.” You see!! remind and warn people with it, not to judge and condemn people by it. It is our own egos and insecurity that makes us want everyone to do and believe as we do. Naden: That is a cheap shot that achieves nothing, how odd you mock the society these TV programs are aimed at but here you are repeating the same ignorant stereotypes. P.s. Can I just say that holier-than-thou self-righteous attitude is in itself a much worse sin than the short comings of those they are shouting at and condoning to hell. I feel sorry for the people who look to your for guidance, and who with your attitude you push away from the deen. Your contradictor approach not to mention your "I know better than you, you are wrong, I am better than you" while trying to maintain a discussion is just sill. Self righteous attitudes are repugnant to the spirit of Islam and it takes you away from Islam. P.s.s Khalaf it is clear that a munaafia will be going to hell if she dies in that state, so have you not condone many to hell. I don't like arguing about religion because I don't believe I'm in a position to do so, so I'm just gonna leave it there before I collect sins.

Khayr: Surrah Al-Mutaffifin states after making explicit the relation between morality and the doctrine of the Hereafter: That the deeds of the wicked are already being recorded in the black list of the culprits, and in the Hereafter they will meet with utter ruin.It goes on to say that: the best end of the virtuous has been described and it has been laid that their deeds are being recorded in the list of the exalted people, on which are appointed the angels nearest to Allah. ( I hope you are getting my point, we do not need to police people's actions, good or bad, everything is being recorded and each will meet with their action) I read in the tasfeer that although the verse “But they (disbelievers, sinners) had not been sent as watchers over them (the believers)” (Verse 33 in Surrah Al-Mutaffifin) specificly speaks in a context (the none believers V the belivers) it can include and be applied to Muslims who make It their business to pick on others sins, with no intention of helping them, as it happens in this forum frequently, to the extent that some are condoning people to the state of muuafiaq. Allah Aclam I could not agree more with Lily's comment regarding these kinda of programmes, it is aimed at the average Joe who thinks our full time job is to blow up people, getting beaten up by our husband, no english and strange culture. Hence if they are doen in the right way, I have no problems with them, and Like Ngonge said I'd rather have these kind, instead of Abu Hamas and undercover mosques which just reinforce these crazy ideas that we are all crazy violent muslims.
-
^^^Lol. Dabshid, that is not the issue, I was just pointing out how unfair it is to judge people simply because they don't cover, while assuming that someone one who covers is better than them, when they could be the devil in disguise. Only Allah knows what is in everyone’s heart and why they do certain things, we cannot judge them based on their outward appearance. Stating the Xaaq whether it affects you or not is part of being a Muslim.

What's the difference between a woman having her period and a terrorist? A: You can negotiate with a terrorist. What do they call a woman who works as hard as a man? Answer: "Lazy." Two women were riding their rickety old bikes down the back streets of Rome one late afternoon. As it turns dusk, the increasing darkness starts making one of the women a little nervous. She leans over to the other and says, "You know, I've never come this way before." The other says, "It's the cobblestones." "Cash, check or charge?" I asked, after bagging items the woman wished to purchase. As she fumbled for her wallet I noticed a TV remote in her purse. "So, do you always carry your TV remote?" I asked. "No," she replied, "but my husband refused to come shopping with me, so I figured this was the most legal evil thing I could do to him."

Just share your Tips. 1--Eat, drink and be moderate Almost all of us do it - once Iftar time hits, we just keep plowing food and drink into our mouths till it's hard to move afterwards. And those of us who do it know this is totally contrary to the spirit of Ramadan, through which we're supposed to learn self-control not self-indulgence. Let's try to stick to the Prophetic rule on eating: fill our stomachs with one-third food, one-third water and one-third breathing space, even in Ramadan. 2---Give a pound/dollar a day in charity...or five or ten The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, was always generous but even more so in Ramadan. Let's open our hearts and dig a little deeper in our wallets this year. Even less than a pound/dollar a day adds up. Whatever you can give, it's the intention that counts. 3---Memorize 4 new paragharahs (help me out someone, the mini chapters (saafxad) can't remember what they are called right now) a day Memorizing the Quran often seems like a daunting task. But the key is doing it in small bites. Since there are four weeks in Ramadan, try to memorize one new Surah a week. Start off with a short, easy one. Once you've started, you'll build momentum and may even want to memorize a longer one the following week. 4---Go to Tarawih prayers, this also to the sisters, if you have someone to go with and it is safe, Post-Iftar, the first urge is to sleep after an exhausting day. But try your best to head out to the mosque for Tarawih prayers. Praying alone is wonderful, but doing it in congregation is fantastic. The community spirit is part of Ramadan's blessings. Don't miss it, try and not add to your sins by arguing, pushing or annoying people (this includes smells, cleaness) or talking about people). Don't rush out of the mosque with out praying Withir, and hearing the heart-rending Duas that follow it. 5---Stop swearing and/or backbiting you should not do it anyway, but try harder In Ramadan, when we want to build our spirituality, we've got to wage Jihad against our bad habits. 6---Call/email your relatives, visit the sick it is charity Strengthening ties with family members and keeping in touch with friends is part of our way of life and an act Allah is very pleased with. This Ramadan, call/email family and friends ask them how their ramadan is going, but don't waste all your time doing this. 7--Go on a technology diet Even if you work in the IT industry, you can do this. Avoid checking personal email and surfing the web during your fast. After Iftar, instead of plopping yourself in front of the screen, go to Tarawih. The same goes for the television. The point is to try to give our full attention to spiritual elevation this month. 8---Read 5 minutes of Quran a day...just five, not more, not less Even if you feel you've got absolutely no time, set a timer or the alarm on your cell phone and find a relatively quiet place. You can read the first page of the Quran you open or follow a sequence. Simply connect with God through His revelation in the month of the Quran. 9---Forgive everyone who has hurt you Still got a festering wound from the fight with your friend last year? Still upset about something your spouse said during a heated argument? Or are you still bitter about the way your parents sometimes treated you as a kid? Let go of the anger and pain this Ramadan and forgive those who have hurt you. Forgiving someone is not only good for the body, but it's also great for the soul. And in Ramadan, ten days of which are devoted to Allah's forgiveness, shouldn't we lesser beings forgive too? Allah will forgive those who forgive others. P.s. Add on your tips...

And Muslims will never accept you, they always have something to pick on! Different people, we also have Sunni, shia, sufi, salafi, Ahuulu sunnah, hanfee, Shafi, Do I need to keep going?. This attitude of blame everything on kufuar is boring and sill. Muslims are lost and divided with or without the influence of none Muslims. After all it is not the none Muslims who have divided you into so many sec's is it now? We are forever barking up the wrong tree and blaming all and everyone but our own failures. Waax kaasta kuf kuf, Munafiqa, etc  At least watch the damn thing before judging these people

Ramadan Mubarak Ladies, May this month bring you both happiness, mercy and forgiveness inshallah. Most of all may all your good deeds be accepted. p.s. No hard feelings.....I guess now you have a reason to remember me every time you make Qaxwo with xawaash or was it shah toolow. or in Naomi case every time you see Islaan iskuu buuqda or your 78yr old neighbor in a fight. Lol Sincere apologies if you were offended. Cheers.

Khalaf go to hell (Inshallah not) but seriously what the hell is wrong with you?? People like you do my head in. I suppose just because she does not cover her head, she might as well drink, have sex, forget prayer and fast and everything else after all she is not covering herself  Maybe she can start doing this all at once, and only then can she be classed as following Islam. I have seen enough "undercover hijabs" to know it means jackshid if the rest of your actions contradict it. I suppose you think one who covers but does not pray or fast and does whatever hell she likes is better, after all the little material shall save her. P.s. Deen is not what you think, or feel or like or dislike darling, nor can you dictate what parts people can adopt or leave. Everything is between individuals and their lord who will judge them and punish or reward them accordingly. P.s.s How can say someone who does not cover is a munafia and then say don’t take it personal, how personal can you get!! That is dangerous accusation.

^^Diabetes is along with hypertension, but Somalis are as bad on that level. Even without Pizza hut, Macdonalds, and fast food, Arabs have too many variety in food, and too sweet or salty

loool @Zenobia (oh wz it today or 2morrow by the way??) I doubt that is what he meant, if it is, I'll tell you waa been! false claims but I agree he should reach burco to get it beaten out for him. Sharmarkee take Ngonge and north wid you while you are at it. How about a group beating!
-
sharmarkee: What have you got against reer Burco people anyway, I think I need to get my reer burco boys, where is Ngonge and north toolow. P.s. there are tall slim girls everywhere you need to open your eyes....Oh I take that back, close them, it is Ramadan, and the whole point of them wearing cabyaa is to avoid people like you!...well probably not in Saudi as it is the uniform. p.s.s. Some Arab women and (men) are suffering some major obesity problems, in the endocrinology & urological department at the hospital, they moved all the Arabic speaking staff there as most of the patients are Arab. Not suprising when you see their food

^^you think everything that is not inline with your line of thought is rebshada  bit like the Saudi behvaiour police we know where you got it from ..

^^Men are always crying on this site KK Most of the topics here (on the women section) can be posted on the General section. What makes one topic more "women" section? People use the women section as the trash to be honest, posting silly topics (but then how do you define silly topics- in this case I mean topics that don't have anything specifically to do with "women".) I don’t think we have so many issues that we need our own section, and since the content of this section does not represent the name, maybe it should just be called something else.

Rethink leads Briton to break with group Blair wanted to ban after 7 July Peter Beaumont Sunday September 9, 2007 The Observer One of the most senior members of the controversial Islamist Hizb ut-Tahrir movement, the group which Tony Blair pledged to ban after the 7 July bombings, has dramatically defected.Maajid Nawaz, a Briton who was jailed in Egypt for four years in 2002 and allegedly tortured after being accused of reviving a banned political group and plotting to overthrow the government, says that he no longer agrees with the movement's attempts to transform Islam into a narrow political ideology. The departure of Nawaz, whose reasons for quitting have been posted on Hizb ut-Tahrir's British website, has already inspired a furious debate within the group. Although he left two months ago, he has only now made his decision public, and will be interviewed later this week on BBC2's Newsnight programme. According to Nawaz, who joined the movement when he was 16, he reconsidered his membership during his imprisonment. Insisting he had not abandoned his opposition to the conduct of Arab leaderships or his opposition to the Iraq war, he added that he could no longer agree with its thinking. Nawaz's defection is a major blow to the movement. Despite being only 29, he was recognised globally for his work in founding new groups abroad. Equally important is likely to be his reason for leaving Hizb ut-Tahrir, a closely argued rejection based on a revisiting of the key legal argument that has been deployed by Islamists - including al-Qaeda - that Arab governments operating under non-Islamic (kufr) law should be removed. He added, however: 'I do not wish my critical voice to be exploited to support the call for proscribing Hizb ut-Tahrir. Rather, those that are well versed in both party ideology and traditional Islamic sciences are sufficiently equipped and duty-bound to redress the phenomenon of politically inspired theological interpretations. 'I would also state that my political stance against the tragic invasion of Iraq remains unchanged. Furthermore, these words should not be taken to mean that I support the brutal policies of the Muslim world's dictators. Rather, political engagement is the civic duty of all who are able. Finally, I impress upon all people that Islam today is not in need of a politically inspired modernist reformation, which is actually the cause of our current crisis, rather a counter-reformation and a return to its true essence by Muslims insisting that their religion is not used merely to serve narrow political agendas. 'I spent much of my time as a political prisoner evaluating and studying Islam. It became clear to me that rather than being the sole vanguard that represents an Islam that even Muslim jurists have misunderstood, Hizb ut-Tahrir is inspired by a political ideology.' While some of the responses to his move yesterday were abusive, some welcomed the debate. 'He has an argument,' commented one senior member. 'He appears to back [it] with texts/evidences. So let a discussion develop, a discussion free from useless feeble statements.' Source: http://observer.guardian.co.uk/uk_ne...165439,00.html

So is it true or not?? How funny if it is true and so silly if it is not true

^^Darling Xawaash can be what ever you like for all I care, I am sure you travelled in all those places to enquire about what they term as Xawaash- taking into account colloquially use and/or literally meanings. In any case I’m not even bothered I don't know what your point 3 is about. if it is in reference to Nephthys little display then no it is not too bitter, just classically underhanded way at getting to me and unhelpful to you (Oh did you think she was helping you?.. you poor thing) As you insist Ciyaal maa teehid, stand on your own. Your selective reading is also amusing, I have just looked thorough this thread and your other one, sounds like I'm not the only one who thinks and has said you sound like 16yr. That is my opinion, you might think I'm a jackas*s, while nephthys thinks I'm arrogant. I don’t care, people are always going to have opinions of you, deal with it or ignore it, but no need to have kittens. It is called life. As for getting personal, that is not personal, I can give you an example of me getting personal if you want. That was my impression. You sound like a 16yr, maa ciirkaad soo ridi? I could share few more of my impressions of you, but they are so bad they'll probably break the Golden rules. After all that either waa ceeytamin or you’ll be like “I don’t care what you think of me” This is so silly, it is embarrassing and far beneath me  Every time I tried to end it waad iigaa taaba timiadaa. This time I’m not coming back to this silliness  ( and no that is not arrogance, this is just pathetic, I cannot believe I’ve let myself stoop this low and providing entertainment for the likes of Ngonge! )
