  1. You might not believe it but the Isaaqs have been under British colonial rule from the 1870 until 1960. That is 110 years of having a white queen as you head of state. Now use your brain and think a little outside the box. What where the British doing for all those years, slipping tea? Do your people have not records from that time period? Do you have libraries were historical knowledge is stored and later study for new insight? No. Because all record history from that period is sitting in Oxford University for British to study. The British know more about the Isaaqs than other Somalis do. They know your temperament and they also understand your weakness.

The SNM were motivated by getting rid of a dictator, however, they were not pulling the strings. The British objective was to create a failed state in Somalia and weaken the scoiety as a whole.  SNM fools could not see by getting rid of a leader they would create a power vacuum which is what happened but the Isaaq have a  dull intellect (like most Somalis)  to see nobody is going to give a former British colonial outpost statehood as the British Empire has been disbanded in the 1950's.

Taking a "fake news" as the base to which to build things on from it, or as the point to start your argument from it, and then rounding up your argument with something along the lines of the tiresome notion of "whataboutery" sort of false comparison, should never be attempted it.

For it's not and never will be a straight "argumentation bat" to which to chance your luck in a debate against others with. Particularly in any discussion in which you wish to be thought of as if you have a decent argument to make.

In other words, this is a "fake news", from top to bottom. And "whataboutery argument" teased out from already given false and fake news does not deserve any answers at all, really.

    Got it now, my friend?

Or perhaps, I should explain bit more in here and say the following:

Suppose you run into me in here of SOL next week and tell me, breathlessly, that you have read in some article that a huge crowd had welcomed Mr Farmaajo into Hargeisa, along with whole of Somaliland government that did turn out for him. And I in turn told you, mate, take a deep breath, for what you just told me is just fake news that has no basis in reality. And more to the point Mr Farmaajo was never seen in Hargeisa at all, or is unlikely to be seen there at all.

Furthermore, after I just told you that, you then without losing breath or even slowing down in your stride, proceeded to inquire whether the tomorrow welcoming party that is waiting for him in Burco can be larger than the one he got today in Hargeisa. Or, perhaps you say; "what about the likely crowd that will be waiting for him in Boroma or in Ceerigabo".

Now do you see the point?

Which means, once you establish you are dealing with a "fake news" from the get-go, then nothing can be tease out of it. Nothing can be taking out from it as "analogy", or as a "comparison" to anything else, no matter how tempting it may be.

Hence, that you do not know this low level of logic and reason, which is a sort of a very basic level, really beggars belief. And what is also doubly surprising to me, however, is the fact that you still wish to detain others with your "whataboutery" argument, which in turn was drawn out or tease out from a given "fake news" item.

    Try harder, dear lad.

I don't know how you got all that diarrhea from my simple comment I posted. You make too many assumptions for me to take you dribble seriously. Corruption is high in Somaliland this is supported by solid journalism. However, I stated that this story MIGHT be a fake story i.e the possibility of it being true is still possible. Learn to differentiate between someone opinion and reported facts.

If that is really the "concluding summation" in which you have come away from it, particularly after you have studied Somalis in a depthly and minutely manner, then I am afraid I have to say that really was wasted effort on your part, at best of it. Or failing that, then at worse of it, you have been "reading" the "wrong books" as well as "observing" the "wrong crowd" in their beehive mode of communal activities (as it were), really.

Hence, which ever the case may be, I think you need to go back to the drawing board and see how you have get this far out in the "wrong direction" from what you have set it out to find it in the first place before you have wasted your precious effort in this so tragic of a way. Think about, my friend.

In science experimental results determine whether a theory holds merit or not. Somalis were given a country in 1960 and failed to keep it. We can debate the factors that lend to state collapse but the end product i.e results on the ground point to a simple truth. Somalis are not intelligent enough to build and maintain a civilisation.

  4. From what I have learned over the years and the behaviour that I have observed from Somalis is this; Somalis do not have the temperament for civilisation. We are not intelligent like the Chinese, Koreans or Japanese. We are easily destroyed and tossed into the dustbin. So much for Nomadic "toughness" and "rugged individualism" both unproven and shown in the Somali to be the opposite.

I once watched the former UK prime minister David Cameron say in parliament that the UK will never allow Alshabab to take root or harm Somaliland. There are many countries out there who would not tolerate instability in Somaliland. Maybe even the money which was given to Caare came from some of our "invisible" wealthier friends.

Somaliland is a British intelligence creation to keep an eye on any Somali with potential to change the region for the better. Notice Somaliland has had peace for 30 years, but no real economic development? Have you seen the road network in Somaliland? These were built during the Barre era and no new roads built. Why did the British not recognise Somaliland's right to self determination in 18 May 1991, after all the U.K has a permanent seat on the U.N security council?

Are you starting to see that Somalia and Somaliland has made all Somalis homeless and poor with little prospects for the future. We are turning 60 years old soon and have nothing to show for it. This is a great shock and embarrassment.

  6. Notice the emotions Anderson Cooper is using to describing the situation in Southern Somalia 1992 man made fame. The emotions are of alarm and horror, but what were the emotions of the Kacaan government troops as they bombed hargeisa? Watch the other video that I posted and tell me that you see. If a white man from America can have compassionate emotional responses to a situation he shares no kinship with. What does that tell you about the witnessing facilities and mental state of the people in the South.

Notice In this Following clip a former Somali solider of the Kacaan government is asked question but watch his emotional responses. No remorse, no guilt, no compassion, no humanity. Just projection and deflection this is the character of a narcissistic. And then watch the response of the people from the same sub clan as the solider. This is a window into the soul of these people and i wish to flee from them.

Yes they are an embarrassing Community but it's all due to one clan  that dragged the Somali name  to the toilet.

Indeed. The Clan, whose name shall not be named, who reside in Mogadishu by squatting in other people homes that they do not own like common criminals.

no such thing as Somali you are fishing for my clan. Which I will not reveal.

Now stop derailing my thread and get back to the question at hand.

THe way he frames the question tells a lot about his Somalihood.

If one of us wrote that headline, we would have said , " aren't we Somalis embarrassed ?

Waar maxaa inaga siya? ayey su'aashu ahayd.

Ma maqashay dambaska dhamac dab ah ayaa ku jirta.

    Certainly we shall rise.

Man, we are probably the most resilient people in the planet earth. Nations fall and rise. We are passing through the era of when the baby is struggling to exit from the stomach of the mother. Despite our huge exodus we are reuniting one family at the time.

Our families are intact, our young men and women are getting married every month,  although we would have prefered every week. The worst is over, nations fall and rise.

Do not worry about us . The lion will rise again.

Slogans like "make Somalia great again" won't work because in truth Somalia was never great. The only resilient people are see are the Somalilanders and djoubuti people.

People that have no remorse or guilt about the things they have done will not amount to anything. The kacaan propagandist need to come clean about their crimes. Also the southern clan that reside in Mogadishu need to come to terms with their evil nature.

  10. Do Somalis not feel embarrassment? What I mean in the last 30 years Japan became an industrial titan. China raised 500 million out of poverty and India is doing the same. UAE transformed into a modern society. The story is the same in nation like Nigeria, Botswana, Rwanda and Ghana. But Somalia with just 12 million people can not build a central government. This is truly shocking. Do Somalis not feel embarrassment, any sense of self refection or analysis?

When was the last time you saw a South African, Botswana, Ghanaian, Rwandan or Nigerian needing food aid?
