  1. I'am enjoing myself thoroughly= Waan raaxaysanayaa aad iyo aad or Aad iyo Aad baan uu raaxaysanayaa.
  2. Some of you might ask what does he want to achieve with that ****** question? But I can assure you that I just want to know of you if you have ever taken part in an IQ test because if you go to an interview job wise or even at school they often do IQ tests. It is often said that IQ tests are gender, race and language biased but nevertheless I'd like to know what you scored. Well if you tell me your IQ score I might be able to tell you were you rank amongst the society and larger crowd. BTW I got an IQ of 132 and that's some two years ago when I had to take an IQ-test. A IQ of 132 isn't particulariy high but I was told that it is equivalent to that of a western University graduate. If I had scored 12 IQ (points) more I would be able to sign for the Genius club that was on offer of its membership to become a member of a very intelligent crowd of High IQ's.
  3. There is no case to answer Duke nor anyone has to justify his earlier stance because nothing has changed so there is no need for him to alter his views because he proudly stands by them. Duke asked a legitimate questions, which needs a legitimate answer to it. Yes Morgan was supported because he was a symbol for struggle and a just cause. He was representing the people who were kicked out of their houses by force. Therefore the people who are the rightful owners of the city demanded their houses and property back and as a result of it they took up arms in selfdefence. Fortunately there is now a fragile peace in the region and negotiations are on-going to end the hostilities between the brotherly people of the lower Jubba region. There is no reason for us to fight on because we took up arms at first place because out of defence of our livelihoods. We can return to the city now and reclaim our lost property that's what we were fighting in the first place so there isn't any reason to fight on. Now with the dispute settled who does Morgan represent? The people he represented together with the militia have safely returned to Kismaayo to co-existed and live with their brother's. Simply he doesn't represent anyone other than himself and inshallah they will be defeated if they dare to attack the city by force because no one wants Omar Jees nor Morgan in control over beautiful Kismaayo. It is in our interest to get a wide support for the government in order to stop the disputes and hostile and merciless killing and lawlessness that is going on in our country. The people who are in charge now in Kismaayo are our kin and we're fighting and dying together to defend the city against the USC.Due to some minor misunderstandings the situation escalated and there were thrown out of the city by the majority inhabitants. They in turn kicked Morgan out in 1999 with the help of a coalition they forged in their original regions of Galguduud in central Somalia because they could not defeat us although Gedo is close by. We on the other hand were some 1500 kilometres away from getting support and logistics. Everytime Morgan tried to retake the city immediately 70 technicals and heavy machinery would come down from Moqadishu to support the illegal occupation of the city. Although Morgan was faced with such stiff opostion he became eventually friends with them for no apparent reason other than for his personal gains. If you're angry and feel left out you're going to do everyting to raise up your selfworth and self-esteem that's why he joined the mafia. We supported the right for every reer Waamo the true reer Kismaayo to live in harmony, peace and to get their rights back that have been violated and now as the struggle has ended and we achieved our aims there is no further need to engage into hostilities so forth or whatever.
  4. I got it now what about "gabood-fal"? It's another word for guilt.
  5. Callypso you're totally wrong in your assumptions and there is also no need for castro to cheer and encourage you because you don't know what you're talking about after all I'am a historian first and a linguist second I hope you got that! My soomaali is good compared to yours which is imperfect. As I said there is no direct translation for "bal" and as someone earlier pointed out it is merely a interragational reply. On the other hand "murugo" isn't remorse even a primary school pupil would get that but it is certainly above your capacity. First remove the garbage then fill up your capacity and then reply. Remorse means in Soomaali "qoomamo and tiiraanyo" but not murugowhich in english translates into entaglement! But you wouldn't know that because you would be a mere 6992st linguist in here. Eed could be used as guilt for worst has been suggested like "dembiile". E.g. Waan eedeesanahay which means Iam guilty not of a crime althoug one could use to describe it as such. Guilt could also be translated as "Gef". Damqad although good but not perfect.
  6. I sincerely apologise for a mistake I made earlier. A public awareness notice pls listen up. There is no direct translation for the word "Bal" as it is unique and the english language a bit rubbish. Thanks alot! Yoonis_Cadue
  7. "Bal"=meaning and or ah; Adba=meaning you! Bal ka warran caafiimaadka= And how is your health. Bal xoogaa yar sug=Ah wait a little bit
  8. "Bal Adba" meaning and what about you too but I believe is more slang than anything else. Castro cut the crap and stop claiming something you did not intend at the first place, you must be kidding aren't you! Mise Foxy Brown baa xoogaa yar ku wareerisay? Qiiro means enthusiasim e.g. waan qiiroonayaa mar walbe marka aan foxy arko= meaning Iam enthusiasitc when ever I see foxy!
  9. you won't find a single word. But may I suggest certain words. e.g. I feel guilty not saying hi to Foxy. "Waan ka "xumahay" in aanan salaamin Foxy ama Waan ka xumahay in aanan ku oran/ku dhihin foxy "Hi"!
  10. None of the above! I don't take part in fool tests. You want to take the mock out of me or what? I well passed such tests long time ago unlike you. Are we still at Kindergarten or what!

Maxaabiista ay maanta is dhaafsadeen labada maamul ee Puntland iyo Somaliland ayaa u muuqda in uu gacan ka geysanayo jawiga nabadeed ee deegaannada Puntland iyo Somaliland. 12. you're most welcome! Feel free walaal.
  13. Another simple mistake of yours Castro, you know you should stick to your language namely spanish it would be better for you or take russian classes up, I can teach you if you want me too. It's only $5 per minute. Obvious means in soomaali although there isn't a direct translation however you could say that obvious means in soomaali "wax qeexan oo sahlan ama iska cad".
  14. Yes "fadlan" is indeed an arabic word that has been imported and corporated into our beautiful language of ours. There are countless words that are arabic in our language or who have their origins in Arabic. I could give you 100's of example's but i'll refrain because I believe that all you guys know what I mean after all Iam an linguist second and a historian first. Come up with a better word that mean's please if you're in any way or form in doubt about my interpretation of the word "please".
  15. Sorry folks, I won't teach you any grammar because I believe that most of you know the grammar if not bad luck because I am not certainly here to teach you any grammar. Words, Words and Words etc. In order to understand any languguae one needs a wide range of vocabulary.
  16. There 20 consonant's in the soomaali alphabet and 5 short and long vowels and the letter "y" which is another vowel but not counted. Soomaali alphabet: B,T,J,X,KH,D,R,S,SH,DH,C,G,F,Q,K,L,M,N,W,H,Y AND A-AA,E-EE,I-II,O-OO AND U-UU.
  17. You can improve your soomaali here inshallah in the future. I will give detailed lecture's in the beautiful language of ours. Thank you. Stay tuned!
  18. I refuse to accept your insult directed at me because it is wronly spelled. Right way to spell is: Dabadhilif Waaxid and not " dabakadhilif waxiid". Towxiidka qabso oo shaydaanka iska naar walaal.
  19. Another mistake. "Waa kutuuga" is a 5 year's old or an ***** 's way to say please. Please in Soomaali means "Fadlan".
  20. Also "eed" is another word to describe "guilt or guilty" i.e. waan eedeesanahay meaning iam guilty.
  21. You all don't seem to have a clue what you talking about. Yes Oori is one way to translate "wife" into soomaali. Another one is Afadayda (afo) which is the most widely word to describe your wife. There are numerous other ways too.
  22. You are just inadequate and way too thick to understand anything I do or stand for so ill suggest to you that you get a life. You certainly got one or two problems but there is help however you ain't certainly get it from me. Understand?
  23. No one is chasing anyone, you thicko! You got that. So stop dramatising. Don't dig your dirt and frustrations on me. If you got problems sort it out. I have great respect and adminiration for Rahima but is it too much to demand a decent answer that I owe her.
