    Somaliland declared independence 1991 from the Former Somali union .

    It currently has a democratic political system and a stable government, no pirates and no Al Shabaab

    Women have been granted equal treatment and are protected under Somaliland law - some are even policewomen

    The country hopes to become a tourist destination and has incredible beaches and lots of ancient monuments

    Somaliland is currently not recognised as independent by the wider world but has trade links with the UK

    Until 1960, was known as British Somaliland and ruled separately to the rest of Somalia, which was run by Italy

    Secret Sources from the the Somaliland Government’s Ministry of Resources have just has confirmed the first drilling well in Somalilands Oddweyne District has hit Oil last Night .

     

    The Government is not letting any news out due to security fears in the region nether is the unnamed Oil company thought to be Jenel/african OIl ltd.

    Breaking news will update ASAP I get more on this story .

    ^ why you dont let the police and authorities deal with this man . Secondly if this man is so good surely he would go to koonfur and help millions of needy there. If thats not the case and he is an snakeoil salesman they got every right in the law to stop him and imprison him. That clip proofs nothing . Secondly you talking tough but seems not to understand the reality on the ground which is that as long as foreign troops are in Somalia and specially Ethiopia and Kenya neigbouring countries there will be a constant popular resisstant to remove ajnaabis from the country.get real and cut the propoganda.

    ^ I dont care who founded the arab. League. The reality of today is that Syria and its people are slaugthered by Bashar and his fellow criminals. Do you know that Syrian refugees are forced to sell their kidneys on the black market to survive the winter ? This is absulute unacceptable and the world have forgot them. Xaaji assad is the enemy of syrians surely you must understand that.

    ^ born in america you say , will since you not even born in africa when and how did the disease of Tribelism hit you?? Get the jab before its too late - its for your own good the same goes to all the other ones born outside Somali lands. Secondly in the real world people have to give evidence when making an accusation ? Where is the evidence ??
