1. @Qunyar Socod said: I couldn't agree with you more. We all witnessed what Dr. Maryam Qasim accomplished when she was assigned to be the minister of health and education. She managed to improve the health system, built schools for thousands of children. Basically, women are best suited for such positions. Can you give me concrete examples of how she improved the health system? As far as her education efforts, have you read "Somalia's Go 2 School programme halted for non-payment of teacher salaries" I like Maryam Qasim, but objectivity is key.
2. The cabinet should be smaller. But then again accommodation is key to political success in Somalia
3. Round table 1: 1. Why is Tarzan still around? even leading a new street project. That guy is politically immortal. I hear Mohamed Ali "America", ambassador to Kenya, is bidding for his spot. 2. Why did the new Somali foreign Minister include his personal gmail on his Twitter bio? Is he kidding or does he want his email to be a qabil, fadhi ku dirir, money-begging, spam center? 3. What ever happened to Hassan Sheikh's "nomad diplomacy"? --------------------- Please discuss
4. do y'all not get tired of engaging in such conversations. same points, often same people, same outcome. neither party sees the "light". Instead lights go out. you go sleep. and wake up and do it all over again another day another thread. its like the story of sisyphus. but the question is to y'all Team A and B who punished you to such fate. For today's victims........ AYB- let go of your insecurities the Doctor- let go of your ego Khayr- let go of weed

7. ^Great, I will start preparations on the Aqal. --------- I hear Al-Shabaab's ban on internet has actually materialized. Telecom/internet providers in al-shabaab territories have cut off services.
8. @Khayr said: I wonder if you would have made the same statement if someone spoke about some of your values like: - Gender Equality - Homosexuality - Inter-faith marriages - Liberal Democracy looool
9. A chaotic and stressful evening, which will most definitely result in more chaos and stress. The outcome will be of great reward or more chaos and stress if backlashes
10. @Alpha Blondy said: ---- SPooow (to be filled in by the aforementioned forumer) nice trap @Safferz said: Damn, campus shooting at Purdue will you now consider living the miyi life with SP (;
11. @Alpha Blondy said: this woman you insult is probably the same age as your own mother......and yet you take it upon yourself to insult her without limit on the internet. that is indicative of the way you were raised. we know you're a staunch Somalilandiid lakinse take your insults elsewhere because to be quite frankly with you it's disgusting. The women has put herself in the public eye and made controversial and insulting remarks. Her giving birth does not exclude her from critique. Plus, given her ego, I don't think she would prefer being viewed in realm of her motherhood. Also, putting aside my idealism, at the moment I support the SL pursuit of independence, unless the situation in Somalia changes, which I hope would warrant some reconsideration. My problem lies with the means this secession is pursued, particularly the demonizing of other Somalis. I'd also consider Somalia to be ruled from Hargeisa. Though, my only concern is this edna aden type belief of superiority and demonization. This is what holds back SP from being a staunch SL nationalist.
12. The Oromo got poetry skills too. This guy had a major transformation.
13. ^^ Hmm interesting and pleasant. I just watched one of her talks in brussels. She was like "don't push us towards terrorist, the pirates, al-qaeida..." and "billions of dollars of tax-payer money are being wasted on Somalia... but do you realize its not going to work because the people of SomaliaAAAAAAA [great emphasis on the aaaa} do not want it to work. you cannot match the industry of terrorism that they have. you have been beaten my terrorist" and lastly "recognize your failures, because it hasn't worked [in reference to international community's attempt of stabilizing Somalia... our system works" -- a short snippet of her speech ohhh and the way she takes great pride in the British colonial history and how the the great ol' monarch recognized Somaliland is cringeworthy. you can see the glow in her eyes when she talks about the brits
14. Malistar you are hereby appointed as deputy to the deputy minister of Propaganda.

18. @Safferz said: Indeed... I'm still getting used to the new SOL, but I like. In other news, I watched the Notebook tonight for the first time, and it was complete trash . I may or may not have teared up during a few scenes though. Are you a lesbian? In other news, I developed a new found dislike for Somali sijuis.
